Band Clamp
A low-profile clamp consists of a band (20) and a buckle (21) mounted on a first end portion of the band. During mounting, the second and portion (23) of the band (20) which surrounds the object to be fastened is fed through the buckle (21); after tightening the band is locked to the buckle (21) by deformation. The deformation may be done with a plier-type tool which engages the side edges (37) of the second band end portion (23) through lateral windows (36) formed in the buckle (21).
Tool for mounting a tension clamp
A tension clamp (19) includes a band (20) surrounding an object to be fastened and a buckle (21) arranged on the inner band end portion (22) and surrounding the band (20), with the outer band end portion (23) extending through the buckle (21). A tool for mounting the tension clamp includes a holding device for holding the buckle (21) along with the band (20) surrounding the object to be fastened, a tensioning device for tensioning the band (20) round the object to be fastened by applying tension to the outer band end portion (23), a locking device (50) for locking the buckle (21) on the band (20), and a severing device for cutting off excessive band length. The locking device (50) has plier jaws (54) adapted to be inserted into lateral windows (25) of the buckle (21) for deforming side edge portions (24) of the other band end portion (23).

Dual locking assembly for straps
A dual locking assembly for straps, which has a lock assembly having first and second strap passages positioned opposite each other, and a strap assembly having a strap. The lock assembly and the strap assembly are reusable. The lock assembly is rectangular in shape. The first and second strap passages have first and second locking tabs respectively. The first and second locking tabs are specularly positioned. The strap has first and second ends, and first and second faces, whereby the first face has serrations. The strap assembly is inserted through the lock assembly, whereby a first section of the strap is used to secure an item or a plurality of items while a second section of the strap is cut to be reused. When the strap assembly is inserted through the lock assembly, the serrations are at the outer side of the strap.

Syringe and method for reconstitution of dry-form drugs and medicines
A method of reconstituting and administering an injectable fluid distributed to practitioners in dry-form includes receiving a drug or medicine in dry form, selecting a reconstitution concentration for the drug or medicine, reconstituting a desired number of units of the drug or medicine by adding diluent to the dry-form drug or medicine, selecting a syringe having units marked according to the selected reconstitution concentration, drawing up a desired number of drug or medicine units using the selected syringe, and administering a desired number of units according to the unit markings on the selected syringe. Such a syringe includes a barrel, a plunger assembly that has a plunger handle and a piston, a needle, and a needle cap. The syringe includes a visual indicia, representing a first drug concentration contained in the barrel, that is distinguishable from a corresponding visual indicia, on a second syringe, representing a second drug concentration.
Reinforced cable tie strap and method of manufacture
A reinforced cable tie generally includes an elongate strap having a first end, a second end and an elongate planar strap body therebetween, a head having an upstanding central wall separating a first and a second elongate parallel passageway through the head for respective receipt of the first and second ends of said strap, a locking device supported in the head for retaining the first and second ends of the strap and a continuous reinforcement disposed in and extending substantially continuously along a path defining the strap. In a method for forming a cable tie, a continuous reinforcing strand is co-extruded within an elongate strap and a head is assembled to the strap.
