Packaging with handle compensation
Packaging is provided including an upper lid having a handle disposed within a channel of a surface of the upper lid and vertically movable within the channel. A lower base box is coupled to the handle via a strap, such that a lifting force imparted to the handle lifts the lower base box when the strap becomes taut. The vertical movement of the handle within the channel overcomes any slack in the strap such that the handle does not contact an upper vertical surface in the upper lid, but a gapless interface between the upper lid and lower base box is maintained during lifting of the packaging. The strap is detachable from the handle and from the base box, such that it may be removed in order to open packaging by lifting the lid off of the base box.

Syringe and method for reconstitution of dry-form drugs and medicines
A method of reconstituting and administering an injectable fluid distributed to practitioners in dry-form includes receiving a drug or medicine in dry form, selecting a reconstitution concentration for the drug or medicine, reconstituting a desired number of units of the drug or medicine by adding diluent to the dry-form drug or medicine, selecting a syringe having units marked according to the selected reconstitution concentration, drawing up a desired number of drug or medicine units using the selected syringe, and administering a desired number of units according to the unit markings on the selected syringe. Such a syringe includes a barrel, a plunger assembly that has a plunger handle and a piston, a needle, and a needle cap. The syringe includes a visual indicia, representing a first drug concentration contained in the barrel, that is distinguishable from a corresponding visual indicia, on a second syringe, representing a second drug concentration.
Device for and method of securing a lid to a food container
A lid is secured to a food container with the aid of one or more handles that are mounted on the lid and/or the container. An elongated, flexible, flattened, stretchable strap overlies the lid and has a plurality of enlarged openings spaced apart along the strap. Two of the openings receive the one or more handles in a secured position.

Ratchetless tie-down assemblies and related methods
Tie-down assemblies and methods of their use are provided. In one embodiment, a tie-down assembly may include a buckle, a first strap, and a second strap. The buckle may include a frame, a handle pivotably attached to the frame and configured to pivot about a first axis between an open position and a closed position, and a drum rotatably attached to the handle and configured to rotate about a second axis, wherein the second axis is spaced apart from and extends parallel to the first axis. The first strap may be attached to the frame, and the second strap may be configured to removably attach to the drum.

Tie wrap connector and strap kit
A connector to be used with a strap for wrapping an object. The strap is detached from the connector and has first and second extremities. The connector has a first passage adapted to insert and to lock the first extremity of the strap therein and a second passage having an entrance adapted to insert the second extremity of the strap therein and to prevent the strap from travelling toward the entrance upon insertion. It has a body having a first section with the first passage and a second section with the second passage, wherein the first section has a vertical wall and the second section has a vertical wall distinct from and facing the vertical wall of the first section, and a bridge joining the first and second sections of the body by extending between the vertical wall of the first section and the vertical wall of the second section.

Zip tie for one hand use
A zip tie operable with one hand comprising an elongated member having serrations and a clamshell type head disposed at one end of the elongated member. The clamshell head is configured to receive the elongated member longitudinally inside a channel defined by a first half and a second half of the clamshell type head to form a loop around a bundle of objects when the first half and the second half are open. Engagement of one or more teeth disposed inside the channel with the serrations caused by closing of the first half and the second half prevents movement of the elongated member opposite to a direction in which the elongated member is pulled by a user.
