OPPOSING-FOIL PANEL HAVING ONE OR MORE ZONES WITH A DISTRIBUTED INTERCONNECTING STRUCTURE
An opposing-foil panel includes spaced apart planar foils, a first zone between the foils and defining a first zone length in a machine direction and a first zone width extending in a cross-machine direction, normal to the machine direction, across a first portion of the foil width, a plurality of elongated support members affixed to the foils in the first zone and extending along the first zone length and spaced apart along the first zone width, a second zone between the foils adjacent to the first zone and defining a second zone length and a second zone width extending across a second portion of the foil width, and a distributed interconnecting structure affixed to the foils in the second zone and distributed across the second zone width with greater density than the first plurality of elongated support members is distributed across the first zone width.
EMBOSSED PAPER IN COMBINATION WITH PAPER CUSHIONING FOR SHIPPING ENVELOPES
According to some illustrative embodiments, a protective product is provided that includes: at least one expandable slit paper sheet, said at least on expandable slit paper being expanded between opposing ends of said slit paper; a first embossed paper sheet facing said expanded slit paper sheet and a second paper sheet facing an opposite side of said at least one expanded slit paper sheet, at least one of said first embossed paper sheet and said second paper sheet being fixed to said expanded slit paper sheet at the opposing ends of said expanded slit paper sheet and thereby maintaining said expanded paper in its expanded state, said first embossed paper sheet having a plurality of embossings that increase the rigidity of said embossed paper sheet, whereby inhibiting deformation of said embossed paper sheet that is fixed to said expanded slit sheet paper.
Protective Products, Such as Envelopes, Having a Unique Combination of Interior Padding of Expanded Slit Sheet Paper and Exterior Lining of Embossed Paper
A protective product, such as, e.g., an envelope or pouch, is provided that includes at least one expanded slit paper sheet in an expanded state, and an embossed paper sheet facing the expanded slit paper sheet and fixed to the expanded slit paper sheet along at least a portion of a length in an expansion direction of the expanded slit sheet paper. In the preferred embodiments, the embossed paper sheet has a plurality of embossings that increase the rigidity of the embossed paper sheet, thereby inhibiting deformation of the embossed paper sheet that is fixed to the expanded slit sheet paper.
DUAL-LAYERED FOOD CONTAINER
A dual-layered food container including a layer of parchment paper and a layer of aluminum foil. The parchment paper is on one surface of the wrap, while the aluminum foil is on the opposite surface. This arrangement prevents the aluminum foil from directly contacting the food, thereby avoiding potential health risks associated with aluminum. The wrap can take various forms such as a pocket, bag or sheet, and can be particularly useful for triangularly shaped food items like pizza slices.
Storage Container with Hollow Fusion Panel
The present invention provides a storage container which includes at least one hollow fusion panel defining a storage cavity therein. The hollow fusion panel includes a first layer, a second layer, a first panel member and a second panel member, wherein the first panel member and the second panel member are constructed to form a hollow integral structure. The first layer and the second layer are at least partially overlapped and composited such that a plurality of portions of the second panel member are recessed in a direction toward the first panel member to form a predetermined number of supporting structures distributed in a predetermined manner, wherein each of the supporting structures forms a recessed cavity therein and is at least partially fused with the first panel member.
Packaging material
The invention relates to the packaging of one or more articles in a packaging sheet material which is moveable from a first condition to a second, expanded, condition to improve the packaging effect of the sheet material. In accordance with the invention the sheet material includes a first portion with apertures which can be moved to an open position to create the second, expanded, condition and at least one, but typically a plurality of spaced apart, second portions which have no apertures, or a different shape and/or pattern of apertures than the apertures of the first portion, so as to form a surface of the said second portion more suitable for the application of a label and/or indications thereon when the sheet material is in the second expanded condition.
Container
A container having three pairs of parallel sides; wherein one pair of sides is formed from side panels that comprise a sheet of honeycomb polypropylene with a sheet formed from polypropylene joined to one side of the honeycomb; and at least one pair of sides is formed from elongate sections formed from expanded polypropylene.
Dual-layered food container

This arrangement prevents the aluminum foil from directly contacting the food, thereby avoiding potential health risks associated with aluminum. The wrap can take various forms such as a pocket, bag or sheet, and can be particularly useful for triangularly shaped food items like pizza slices.
Multi-film thermoplastic bags having contact areas
One or more implementations of a multi-film thermoplastic bag with a grab zone of contact areas positioned in a high-touch area of the bag. For example, the multi-film thermoplastic bag includes one or more regions of a first film in contact with a second film at one or more contact areas. The grab zone regions of one or more contact areas are located in visible and high-touch areas to provide visual and tactile cues of strength and durability. Moreover, the grab zone regions of one or more contact areas serve to distribute pull and lift forces across a wider area in order to avoid common failures in high-touch areas such as over stretching, punctures, tears, and rips.
