GRADIENT SLOW-RELEASE ACTIVE COMPOSITE FILM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention discloses a gradient slow-release active composite film and a preparation method thereof. The active composite film, from inside to outside, is composed of an antioxidative hygroscopic internal layer, at least one gradient anti-microbial antioxidative intermediate layer and at least one waterproof external layer; wherein the antioxidative hygroscopic internal layer is prepared by an alcohol-soluble protein-water-soluble protein substrate and a water-soluble antioxidant; the gradient anti-microbial antioxidative intermediate layer is prepared by an alcohol-soluble protein-water-soluble protein substrate and a lipid-soluble plant essential oil and a water-soluble antioxidant, wherein a mass ratio of the alcohol-soluble protein to the water-soluble protein is (1-2):(1-2); and the waterproof external layer is composed of a hydrophobic alcohol-soluble protein layer.

A dissolvable or partially dissolvable package is disclosed, which comprises a dissolvable, consumable material that minimizes clean-up and trash typically generated by packages that contain consumable materials. The package is typically used to deliver consumable materials to a consumable beverage and/or edible food product, such as hot or cold water, juice, milk, alcohol, oat meal, or rice, to create a consumable beverage or edible food product containing the consumable material. The package could be placed in the beverage itself or liquid (e.g., water), or in a machine that disperses liquid that dissolves the package and delivers the mixture of the liquid, the package, and the package contents to a beverage container. Dissolvable, consumable, logos could also be printed on the package, where the logo dissolves at a slower rate than the package, to provide a dissolvable, consumable logo that floats on the beverage as the main body and contents of the package dissolve into a beverage.

Thermal mold for baking halves of an edible container, including a first heated plate having a recess that replicates an outer surface of a baked half of the edible container; a second heated plate that has at least one protrusion that replicates an inner surface of the baked half. The protrusion mates to the recess with a gap therebetween. The plates are brought together with an offset forming a horizontal surface around the recess and form the gap such that baked dough forms a tray. Second plate has teeth located along the horizontal surface, the teeth are inward and below the horizontal surface for forming cavities on an inner surface of the baked half. The second plate has cavities between the teeth and inward and above the horizontal surface for forming teeth on the inner surface of the baked half. A bread cup for holding a food material and a condiment container has a cup body made of bread. The cup body has a base and an upwardly extending side wall that extends upwardly to a top perimeter, forming an interior bore that is adapted to receive the food material. The bread cup further includes a lid made of bread that has a top surface and an opposed bottom surface that together extend outwardly to a lid perimeter, the lid perimeter being sized and shaped to rest upon the top perimeter of the cup body for covering the interior bore of the cup body. A condiment receiving bore is formed in the top surface of the lid, the condiment receiving bore being sized and shaped to receive the condiment container therein.

The present invention discloses an edible film with enhanced release efficiency of essential oil and a preparation method thereof. The edible film is composed of at least one blank layer and at least one essential oil-rich layer; during casting, the blank layer serves as a substrate layer and the essential oil-rich layer serves as an intermediate layer or an external layer; wherein the blank layer is composed of an alcohol-soluble protein-water-soluble protein composite film, and the essential oil-rich layer is composed of an alcohol-soluble protein-water-soluble protein composite film loading with essential oil. The present invention provides a structure and a method of divisional enrichment of essential oil, wherein the essential oil of equal mass is enriched in a certain layer of the film. Compared with the existing edible film loading with essential oil, the essential oil is loaded to the entire film matrix in the present invention.
