Carton and blank therefor
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a carton for packaging one or more article and a blank for forming the carton. An aspect of the invention provides a corner folding arrangement comprising a first panel (18) having a corner defined by an end edge and a side edge. A second panel (32b) is hingedly connected to the end edge of the first panel along a first fold line. A third panel (20) hingedly connected to the side edge of the first panel along a second fold line. A fourth (34b) and fifth (36b) panel couple the second panel to the third panel. The fourth panel is hingedly connected to the second panel along a third fold line and the fifth panel is hingedly connected to the third panel along a fourth fold line. A severance line (70) extends between the first and fourth fold lines or between the second and third fold lines. In an unfolded blank form the severance line bypasses a notional intersection of the first and second fold lines such that the notional intersection is located on one side of the severance line spaced apart from the fourth and fifth panels.

CIRCUMFERENTIALLY BOUND STRUCTURAL TRANSIT PACKAGE
Containerized goods are packaged for transit using a partial or fully circumferential wrapper about which a tensioned-strap is secured, to form an integrated structural package that facilities rapid loading of a machine magazine or picking platform such as a shelf with pre-oriented articles as well as shipping the units palletized in several tiers for distribution and display. The wrapper may be of sheet wood-fibre origin or other materials, the open wrapper ends permitting clear display of the goods labels. D-cuts into the wrapper provide displaceable tabs, for locating and/or separating the adjoining containers, and further integrating the wrapper with its contents, when strapped to form transit packages, able to withstand the rigors of palletized transit.

A PACKAGE, A PRE-FORMED FOLDABLE SHEET, A METHOD OF GROUPING ARTICLES AND A METHOD OF PLACING ARTICLES ON A SHELF
The present disclosure relates to a package comprising an enclosure and retentions. The enclosure is sized and configured to receive several articles aligned within the enclosure. The enclosure has an opening at each of two opposite ends. A retention is located at each end of the enclosure. At least one retention is retractable. For grouping, the articles are aligned on a pre-formed foldable sheet. The sheet is folded to enclose the articles. Opposite edges of the sheet are glued together to form an enclosure about the plurality of articles. A retention is folded at each end of the enclosure. After placing the package on a shelf, any retention at one end of the enclosure is displaced to free the articles. Pushing on the articles through an opposite end allows the articles to slide onto the shelf. A pre-formed foldable sheet for forming the package is also disclosed.

Panel interlocking device
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a panel interlocking device, a carton, and a blank for forming the carton. The carton blank incorporating a panel interlocking device for securing together a first and a second panel in overlapping relationship. The panel interlocking device comprises a locking tab struck from the first panel, and a retaining tab defining a locking aperture struck from the second panel. In use the retaining tab is displaced out of the plane of the second panel to receive said locking tab through the locking aperture to be engaged therewith. The retaining tab has opposing side edges each concavely curved as viewed from the outside of the retaining tab.
