PROTECTIVE PACKAGING STRUCTURE FOR COMPRESSIBLE MATERIALS
20230286720 · 2023-09-14 ·

A more robust packaging structure for maintaining the integrity of compressible biologically active materials during storage and especially during transportation is provided. These containers protect the materials from shock, vibration, deformation, or separation from agitation. The compressible materials may be in the form of synthetic fibers, and may include a composite of fibers and beads or granules. Suitable materials that may benefit from such a robust packaging structure include synthetic materials that comprise a biologically active ceramic or glass.

A method and system provide a folded mailer system which can house / enclose a container which houses a liquid. The folded mailer system meets the requirements /standards as set forth by the USPS for first-class machinable mail. While the folded mailer system meets the USPS requirements / standards for first-class machinable mail, the folded mailer system may also meet the requirements / standards for machinable mail in other jurisdictions outside of the United States. The mailer system may include a container capable of holding a liquid and a structure for holding the container when the container is shipped. The structure may have at least two sections which are folded on to each other when the container is shipped. The container and structure may be machinable within an automated mailing system that is run by the USPS.

Clamshell container movement control stabilizers

In an embodiment, the invention comprises a container apparatus with a lateral stability rail system. At least one rail extends within the lid portion and at least one track extends through the base portion. The rail terminates in a tooth and the track terminates in a pocket. When the container is in a hingedly closed position, the at least one rail nests within the at least one track and the at least one tooth nests within the at least one pocket.

Shaped elastomeric container with integrated leak resistant seal
RE048721 · 2021-09-07 · ·

A container made of an elastomer such as silicone with an integrated leak resistant seal. The seal incorporates press-fit elements with sizes and shapes sufficient to provide a strong seal that resists leakage of liquids from inside the container. The seal is integrated into the container and requires no external clips or clasps. Additional features are provided to facilitate opening such as extended flaps for pulling the sides open, and asymmetric cavities for press-fit elements to reduce the initial opening force. The container itself may be of asymmetrical shape, such as trapezoidal, to provide a wide opening along with a strong seal.
