PLANT AND PROCESS FOR VACUUM PACKAGING PRODUCTS
A plant for vacuum packaging of products includes a plurality of packaging stations, a vacuum pump, a first circuit, an auxiliary pressure device, and a second circuit. The plurality of packaging stations are distinct from each other and configured to separately perform the vacuum packaging of products. The first circuit is configured to put said vacuum pump in fluid communication with said packaging stations, The second circuit is configured to put at least one of said packaging stations in fluid communication with the auxiliary pressure device. The auxiliary pressure device is configured to suction a gas through the second circuit from at least one of said packaging stations.
Tray, package, apparatus and process of making said tray and said package
A tray for containing a product includes a base, a lateral wall emerging from the base to define a containing seat adapted to receive the product. The lateral wall comprises at least one movable portion configurable between a first stable position, wherein the movable portion is placed in continuity with respect to the lateral wall, and a second stable position, wherein the movable portion protrudes from the lateral wall and defines an access passing through the lateral wall itself. Moreover, the present invention refers to a process and an associated apparatus of making said tray. Further, the present invention refers to a vacuum package using the above described tray and to a plastic film sealingly applied on the tray and closing the access, and also to a process and a packaging apparatus for making said package.
VACUUM SKIN PACKAGING
A container for vacuum skin packaging a product is provided. The container includes a surface for supporting the product and one or more vacuum vents, wherein the one or more vacuum vents are separated from the supporting surface by one or more separation walls. A process for vacuum skin packaging a product using the container and a process for forming the container are also provided.
System and method for providing a screen protector
A system and method for providing a screen protector to a portable handheld electronic device or cell phone with a user facing surface comprises a mold having an outer surface matching a user facing surface. A stack of layers including the screen protector is disposed over the outer surface of the mold. A vacuum bag receives and surrounds the stack of layers disposed over the mold. The vacuum bag is sealed and evacuated of air. The screen protector is heated and/or cured while in the vacuum bag to shape the screen protector over the mold to have curved lateral edges matching curved lateral edges of the outer surface of the mold and the user facing surface of the display screen of the cell phone. The vacuum bag maintains the curved lateral edges of the screen protector against the curved lateral edges of the outer surface of the mold.
Apparatus and process for vacuum skin packaging of a product and a vacuum skin package
A process and apparatus can be used to vacuum skin package a product arranged on a support comprising providing a film portion above said support with the product being arranged between the support and the film portion; air tightly fixing the film portion to the support; removing at least a portion of air from a volume underneath said film portion through said at one nozzle inserted in an interspace between the film portion and the support.
COMPOSITION FOR SKIN PACK, SEALANT FOR SKIN PACK, AND PACKAGE FOR SKIN PACK
A composition for a skin pack is provided, which includes: an ionomer (A) of an ethylene/unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer having a melt flow rate (JIS K 7210-1999, 190 C. 2160 g load) of 6 g/10 min or more; and a polyolefin (B) having a melt flow rate (JIS K 7210-1999, 190 C., 2160 g load) of 6 g/10 min or less, in which a content of the polyolefin (B) is from 20% by mass to 50% by mass with respect to 100% by mass of resin components in the composition for a skin pack.
SUPPORT, PACKAGE, APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR MAKING SAID SUPPORT AND SAID PACKAGE
A support includes a central portion configured to receive one or more products, a perimeter band which completely surrounds the central portion, a projection defined at the perimeter band and exhibiting at least one raised portion emerging with respect to the perimeter band and extended away from said central portion. The raised portion a through channel crossing the projection and having an access opening which is completely extended at a position spaced from the perimeter band and is configured to enable gas to pass into the through channel through the projection. The central portion and the perimeter band are made of sheet material.
Vacuum skin package with easy-open/reclosable bottom web
An easy-open/reclosable vacuum skin package includes a bottom web, a product, and a top web; the bottom web includes a laminate having a shaped die-cut, and a label overlying the die-cut, and adhered to the laminate, such that when the label is peeled back, a portion of the laminate is peeled back, opening the package, and the package can be reclosed by returning the label to its original position on the laminate. A method of making an easy-open/reclosable vacuum skin package includes providing a bottom web; disposing a product on the bottom web; providing a thermoformable top web; and advancing the product through a VSP process to make a package in which the top web is in contact with and conformed to the product; the bottom web including a laminate having a die-cut, and a label overlying the die-cut, and adhered to the laminate.
Object retention and storage system
A system for retaining and storing an object, such as cut produce. By creating an air tight seal and preventing oxidizing air from reaching the insides of the fruit or vegetable, the system prolongs the lifespan of the produce, keeping it fresher, longer.
USE OF DUAL OVENABLE POLYESTER FILMS IN VACUUM SKIN PACKAGING APPLICATIONS AND SKIN PACKAGES OBTAINED THEREFROM
The present invention relates to the use of dual ovenable biaxially oriented polyester films in vacuum skin packaging applications. Furthermore, the invention relates to preferably dual ovenable skin packages, in particular to preferably dual ovenable vacuum skin food packages for cook-in applications. Due to the very high formability, the VSP packages of the present invention do not show the defects of prior VSP ovenable packages such as self-sealing of the top web or unsealed areas around the packed product.
