THERMOPLASTIC FILM FOR VACUUM SKIN PACKAGING, METHOD OF PACKAGING AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic film, suitable for use as a top film in vacuum skin packaging, which comprises at least an outer sealant layer a), comprising at least a sealable polymer and a second layer a) adhered thereto, wherein the outer sealant layer a) or the outer sealant layer a) together with the second layer a) adhered thereto, comprise greater than 0.10% by weight of a slip agent. Advantageously, the film and the vacuum skin packaging using the film, require lower temperatures for an effective sealing of the top to the bottom and thus prevent the deformation of the bottom support.
Greeting Card Having Compressed Object Therein and Method of Selectively Controlling Deformation Thereof
A greeting card having a transparent and flexible pouch enclosing a deformable object is disclosed. The transparent and flexible pouch is vacuum sealed with the deformable object inside, such that the deformable object compresses. A transparent insert may be placed inside of the transparent and flexible pouch, in order to minimize disfiguration of the deformable object during the compression process.
MEDICAL IMPLANT, MEDICAL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MAKING A MEDICAL IMPLANT
The present invention relates to a medical implant which is vacuum-packed within an air tight cover material. Further, the present invention relates to a medical device for making a medical implant covered by an air tight cover material, wherein the medical device comprises at least an underpressure generating device and a sealing device, wherein the sealing device is arranged for air tight sealing of the cover material while the medical implant is located within the cover material, wherein the underpressure generating device is coupled or can be coupled with a space which is surrounded by the cover material, and wherein the underpressure generating device and the sealing device are controllable such that after generating a certain underpressure within the space surrounded by the cover material through the underpressure generating device the sealing device is activatable to seal the cover material in an air tight manner to form an air tight protection cover around the medical implant located therein. Further, the present invention relates to a method for making a medical implant covered by an air tight cover material, comprising the steps a) providing the medical implant, b) providing sterile cover material in the form of at least one or at least two pieces, c) placing the medical implant within a space surrounded by the at least one or at least two pieces of the cover material, d) creating an underpressure within the space surrounded by the at least one or at least two pieces of the cover material by evacuating air from this space, e) air tight sealing of the cover material.
HEAT SHRINKABLE STRETCHED MULTILAYER FILM FOR SKIN PACKAGING, SKIN PACK PACKAGE USING SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HEAT SHRINKABLE STRETCHED MULTILAYER FILM FOR SKIN PACKAGING
A heat shrinkable stretched multilayer film for skin packaging comprising a crosslinked resin layer, a gas barrier resin layer, and a heat sealing resin layer sequentially arranged in this order from the outer side, and having dry thermal shrinkage rate of 10 to 55% in each of the machine direction (MD) and of the transverse direction (TD) at 120 C., and tensile elongation at break of 190% or greater in the machine direction at 120 C.
Apparatus and method for vacuum skin packaging of a product
A product can be packaged in vacuum skin packaging. The product is arranged on a support. A film sheet is provided above the support with the product being arranged between the support and the film sheet. The film sheet is air-tightly fixed to the support. A wall of the support is perforated to form at least one through hole. At least a portion of air is removed from within the support underneath the film sheet through the at least one hole.
APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR VACUUM SKIN PACKAGING OF A PRODUCT AND A VACUUM SKIN PACKAGE
A process and apparatus can be used to vacuum skin package a product arranged on a support comprising providing a film portion above said support with the product being arranged between the support and the film portion; air tightly fixing the film portion to the support; removing at least a portion of air from a volume underneath said film portion through said at one nozzle inserted in an interspace between the film portion and the support.
TRAY, PACKAGE, APPARATUS AND PROCESS OF MAKING SAID TRAY AND SAID PACKAGE
The present invention refers to a tray for containing a product (P), said tray (1) comprising: a base (2), a lateral wall (3) emerging from the base (2) to define a containing seat adapted to receive the product (P). The lateral wall (3) comprises at least one movable portion (7) configurable between a first stable position, wherein the movable portion (7) is placed in continuity with respect to the lateral wall (3), and a second stable position, wherein the movable portion (7) protrudes from the lateral wall (3) and defines an access (8) passing through the lateral wall (3) itself. Moreover, the present invention refers to a process and an associated apparatus of making said tray (1). Further, the present invention refers to a vacuum package using the above described tray and to a plastic film sealingly applied on the tray and closing the access (8), and also to a process and a packaging apparatus for making said package.
EASY OPENING FILM FOR VACUUM SKIN PACKAGING
The present invention relates to cross-linked vacuum skin packaging (VSP) films used as top webs for VSP packages endowed with easy opening features and to VSP packages obtained therefrom. The films of the invention comprise at least one layer of a frangible blend of incompatible polymers. The easy-to-open VSP packages obtained therefrom may advantageously include very simple and cheap supports.
Chemical composition for a disposable single use applicator assembly method for manufacturing an assembly for storing and transporting a chemical compound
The applicator assembly delivers a cosmetic, health, or hygiene chemical composition in an active state to the user for a disposable single use. The applicator assembly includes a wrapper, and an insert. The insert holds the chemical composition, and the insert is made of a foam composition compatible with the chemical composition. The system and method for manufacturing the assembly is a web conversion process for the chemical composition and foam composition of the assembly. The chemical composition can be a cosmetic or other hygiene or medical treatment.
