The thin-walled body (2) is further provided with a third hinge joint (9) extending in a third direction (P3) crossing the first hinge joint (5) and arranged at a distance from the second hinge joint (8). The thin-walled body is adaptable to an outwardly bulging shape change of the flexible wall (24) on which the device is intended to be attached. The invention also relates to a package provided with such a resealable opening device.
Composite liquid agent package and method for manufacturing same, and kit for preparing multicomponent liquid composition using the composite liquid agent package and method for manufacturing same
A composite liquid agent package containing a first pouch filled with a first liquid and a second pouch filled with a second liquid; and a kit for preparing a multicomponent composition, the kit including an outer bag housing the composite liquid agent package. With an opposite end section of the first pouch and an opposite end section of the second pouch being superposed, the superposed parts are heated and pressurized to exclude sealants, which are present within the opposite end sections, outwardly of the extremities of the outer layers of the opposite end sections, while heat-fusing the two extruded sealants together to join the two pouches.
Interactive multi-chamber container
A multi-chamber container with an educational function. The multi-chamber container is designed to provide a housing, with a sidewall extending between a bottom wall and a top wall, that can store food or beverage substances therein. The housing includes a primary chamber and at least one secondary chamber. The primary chamber is accessible via a primary opening, while each secondary chamber is individually accessible via a secondary opening. The container provides an educational function in that the primary chamber stores a desired liquid or solid material and the secondary chamber is empty. The primary and secondary openings are Indistinguishable to the consumer until opened from a closed state. The selection of the primary opening corresponds to a correct answer to a question displayed on, or associated with, the container.
E-Z FILL BAG
An apparatus for dispensing a dispensable product can include a flexible inner container and an outer container. The inner container can have a cavity configured to receive a dispensable product, a top end defining or configured to define a sealable opening in fluid communication with the cavity, and a closed bottom end that defines one or more corners. The outer container can have a cavity configured to receive the inner container, a top end that is open or is configured to be opened, and a closed bottom. The inner container can be sized such that, when the top end of the outer container is open, the inner container is disposable within the cavity of the outer container such that the corner(s) are disposed within the cavity of the outer container and the top end of the inner container is foldable over the top end of the outer container
Blister package and method of manufacture
Blister package having a novel pull tab construction that enables opening of each individual product cavity of the blister package. The pull tab is formed by breaking off a portion of a base substrate along a notched line that includes a series elongated severed portions extending completely through the thickness of the base substrate, separated by the unsevered (connected) portions. The notched line can be formed in the same mold that is used to form the recessed product cavity of the base substrate, thereby reducing the number of manufacturing steps and equipment, resulting in a significant cost savings during manufacture. The new notch line configuration eliminates the problems of the prior art with score depth achievement and consistency, while providing a reliable breakable line, and enable less brittle (non-PVC) polymers to be used. It also eliminates the problem with knife wear that prevented score depth achievement and consistency with non-PVC materials.
DRINKS POUCH
A fully sealed pouch containing a drink is provided with a straw within the pouch accessible to allow a user to draw drink from the pouch. The pouch defines a top portion, a bottom portion, and respective side edges interconnecting the top portion and the bottom portion. A corner portion is defined between the top portion and one side edge, the corner portion being openable by a user to access the straw. The pouch forms a closed cavity containing the drink, the cavity being defined by the top portion, the bottom portion, and side edges and by at least one wall defining a front face and a rear face for the cavity. The front and rear faces are connected together in the top portion. The front and rear faces are continuous with each other at, or are connected along, the other of the side edges. The front and rear faces are connected, optionally via a gusset, to provide the bottom portion. The one side edge is formed by a first heat seal connecting the front and rear faces; and a second heat seal connects the front and rear faces and extends in an incomplete fashion from the top portion to the bottom portion, being spaced inboard of the first heat seal. The second heat seal divides the interior of the cavity into major and minor portions interconnected so that drink may flow between them, the minor portion lying between the first and second heat seals, and the straw being located within this minor portion. A number of different ways are described in which the corner portion may be opened along a line of weakness formed in the pouch and extending generally parallel to the bottom portion from the first heat seal to and ending at the second heat seal.
Packaging bag
In a packaging bag including a main bag body made of laminate films and a film-shaped pouring nozzle made of laminate films being thinner than the laminate film for the main bag body and developing a self-sealing function, the main bag body is provided on an edge part of a portion formed by cutting out at least a shoulder part with a notch part for fixing and holding the film-shaped pouring nozzle, and the notch part is formed as a protect cover separatably connected to the cutout edge part to house the film-shaped pouring nozzle therein, and an outer face of a base part of the pouring nozzle is fusion-joined to an inner face of the cutout edge part of the main bag body and connected to the main bag body.
Pre-Measured Baking System
Systems are provided for facilitating food preparation. One such system includes one or more flexible packaging containers, wherein the one or more flexible packaging containers include a removable portion configured to enable a user to access the one or more premeasured materials, and one or more premeasured materials housed within the one or more flexible packaging containers.
Package with heat score
The present invention addresses certain problems facing flexible packages and the packaging industry. Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a method of heat scoring the film or material of the package in various shapes and locations to facilitate the consumer opening the package. Embodiments are also directed to a heat scoring device for delivering the heat score to the package material during the manufacturing process. Other embodiments are directed to a package having one or more heat scores for permitting a user to easily access the contents of a package while maintaining the integrity of the package.
