The disclosure provides apparatus and methods of use pertaining to disposable bucket liners for storing solid or liquid content. One embodiment provides a flexible bag configured to conform to an interior of a common painting bucket and overlap an open top end of the bucket so as to provide stability for the bag and protection for the bucket. The bag includes a reusable closing member that allows the bag to be removed from the bucket and stored to facilitate repeated use before disposal. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

The present invention relates to an opening and closure device on a packaging container for liquid or semi-liquid food. The packaging container has a fold line and an opening line intersecting in an intersection point, thereby dividing the opening line into a first opening line portion and a second opening line portion. The opening and closure device comprises an opening device adapted for facilitating rupture of the packaging material along the opening line, and a closure device adapted for re-closing the packaging container after opening along the opening line. The invention also comprises a packaging container with an opening and closure device and a method of manufacturing the packaging container.

A package which can be torn open by a user, comprising a polymer film material having a preferential tearing direction and defining a cavity for a product, wherein the polymer film material incorporates a bias facilitating tearing along a tear line oriented in a direction other than its preferential tearing direction and a tear initiation location which facilitates tearing of the polymer film material in its preferential tearing direction to open the package, the tear line being adjacent to a tear initiation location. The polymer film material having a preferential tearing direction provides resistance against a child tearing open the package.

In packaging bag including a main bag body made of laminate films and a film-shaped pouring nozzle made of laminate films being thinner than the laminate film for the main bag body and developing a self-sealing function, the main bag body is provided on an edge part of a portion formed by cutting out at least a shoulder part with a notch part for fixing and holding the film-shaped pouring nozzle, and the notch part is formed as a protect cover separateably connected to the cutout edge part to house the film-shaped pouring nozzle therein, and an outer face of a base part of the pouring nozzle is fusion-joined to an inner face of the cutout edge part of the main bag body and connected to the main bag body.

In a package bag having a package bag body formed by joining laminate films each including a base film layer and a sealant layer through fusion of the opposed sealant layers and a film-shaped pouring nozzle having a self-sealing function formed by fusion-joining laminate films each including front and rear sealant layers sandwiching a base film layer at their peripheral portions other than base end portions wherein the base end portion of the film-shaped pouring nozzle is fusion-joined to a top of the package bag body, the film-shaped pouring nozzle is constructed with an inclined part located at a side of the base end portion so as to protrude from an upper end portion of the package bag body obliquely upward in a direction of a side portion thereof and a horizontal part connected to a side of a free end portion of the inclined part.

A fully sealed pouch containing a drink is provided with a straw within the pouch accessible to allow a user to draw drink from the pouch. The pouch defines a top portion, a bottom portion, and respective side edges interconnecting the top portion and the bottom portion. A corner portion is defined between the top portion and one side edge, the corner portion being openable by a user to access the straw. The pouch forms a closed cavity containing the drink, the cavity being defined by the top portion, the bottom portion, and side edges and by at least one wall defining a front face and a rear face for the cavity. The front and rear faces are connected together in the top portion. The front and rear faces are continuous with each other at, or are connected along, the other of the side edges. The front and rear faces are connected, optionally via a gusset, to provide the bottom portion. The one side edge is formed by a first heat seal connecting the front and rear faces; and a second heat seal connects the front and rear faces and extends in an incomplete fashion from the top portion to the bottom portion, being spaced inboard of the first heat seal. The second heat seal divides the interior of the cavity into major and minor portions interconnected so that drink may flow between them, the minor portion lying between the first and second heat seals, and the straw being located within this minor portion. A number of different ways are described in which the corner portion may be opened along a line of weakness formed in the pouch and extending generally parallel to the top edge or the bottom portion from the first heat seal to and ending at the second heat seal.

The present invention provides a double formulation packaging pouch with easy-opening and easy-liquid drinking features, which includes: a pouch body having a hollow storage space formed by sealing both ends of a rectangular packaging film; an upper sealed part formed by sealing an upper opening of the pouch body; a lower sealed part formed by sealing a lower opening of the pouch body; a sealed partition part formed by connecting a first partition line extending downward and a second partition line extending laterally with each other, then sealing front and rear sides of the packaging pouch along the first and second partition lines, to form a pill storage compartment and a potion storage compartment; a cutting line part formed at an upper portion of the pouch body by penetrating at least one layer; and a cutting notch formed by cutting away a predetermined section of the upper sealed part.

A fluid container includes a flexible pouch formed of a foil material, the flexible pouch defining a fluid reservoir for containing a beverage, the flexible pouch including a front surface comprising a pierceable vent, wherein the pierceable vent is defined by a circular area of the front surface and a portion of the foil material present in the circular area has a thickness that is thinner than a thickness of another portion of the foil material external to the circular area of the pierceable vent, a back surface, being opposite the front surface, wherein the back surface and the front surface are sealed together to form the fluid reservoir, and a perforated portion comprising a portion of the front surface and a portion of the back surface.

A single use pouch device for carrying and subsequently dispensing a single use volume of a viscous skin treatment includes a pouch which contains a viscous skin treatment. The pouch has a total fluid volume sufficient to contain a pre-determined volume of the viscous skin treatment to cover a user's hands and arms. A first opening means is integrated into the pouch which enables a corner of the pouch to be removed thereby enabling the viscous skin treatment to be dispensed through the removed corner in a controlled manner. A second opening means is integrated into the pouch which enables the pouch to be divided thereby enabling the viscous skin treatment to be removed from the pouch. In this way the user can remove a maximum volume of the viscous skin treatment from the pouch.
