WRAPPER FOR ABSORBENT ARTICLE
The disclosure pertains to a wrapper (22) for an absorbent article (10) comprising a release paper (51,51′) comprising a layer of cellulosic fibers (33), a layer of peeling agent (32) arranged onto the layer of cellulosic fibers (33). According to the disclosure, the layer of cellulosic fibers (33) comprises a basis weight comprised between 10 gsm and 40 gsm. The disclosure also relates to an assembly comprising an absorbent article (10) and such wrapper (22) and a process to manufacture such assembly (10).
METHODS OF RECYCLING FLEXIBLE PACKAGES FORMED OF RECYCLABLE BARRIER LAMINATES
Disclosed are recyclable flexible package and a method of recycling such packages. The flexible package includes a hollow body defining an interior chamber for holding an oxygen sensitive product. The body is formed of a laminated film formed of two layers of a single polymer material, e.g., polyethylene, and at least one interposed barrier layer, e.g., polyvinyl alcohol, that is resistant to the passage of oxygen therethrough and which is water-soluble. The single polymer constitutes at least 95% by weight of the laminated film, whereupon the package is suitable for recycling without requiring separation of the materials thereof by shredding the laminated film and subjecting those pieces to an aqueous wash to dissolve the barrier layer.
Manually Openable Flexible Film Package
The present invention is directed to packages having a thermoformed product receiving cavity for containing the product formed from a first flexible heat shrinkable film and a lidding film covering the thermoformed product receiving cavity formed from a second flexible non-heat shrinkable film. The present invention also includes an opening tab on each of the two flexible films which are aligned with each other such that each of the tabs has a sufficient surface area facing the other tab but not adhered to it to render each tab readily manually graspable. The opening tab of the first flexible heat shrinkable film includes a distal portion which is curled to improve its graspability.
EASY-OPEN PEEL POUCH
Embodiments include a package for containing and dispensing a product. The package includes first and second layers; a product seal zone where the first layer is joined to the second layer, the product seal zone having an inner perimeter that defines an unsealed pouch area for containing the product and an outer perimeter; and a header zone adjacent to the outer perimeter of the product seal zone. The header zone includes a first tab; a second tab; a first tab-cut in the first layer within an unsealed portion of the header zone; and a second tab-cut in the second layer within the unsealed portion of the header zone. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Laminated food dispensing module for use with automatic grill system
A food dispensing module for a delaminating food dispensing system includes an outer housing; and a delaminating housing. The delaminating housing has a first portion being located within the outer housing and a second portion located outside the outer housing. The delaminating housing includes delaminating nips, a first film take-up roller, a second film take-up roller, an output opening, and a trap void. The output opening is located in the second portion of the delaminating housing.
Separable package
The present disclosure provides packages that are configured for containing a prophylactic device and a quantity of lubricant material. The package can include a first portion defining a first chamber containing a prophylactic device; and a second portion defining a second chamber containing a quantity of lubricant composition; wherein the first chamber of the first portion and the second chamber of the second portion are arranged to separably engage one another about external surfaces of the first portion and the second portion so as to form a unitary package. The present disclosure further provides methods for providing a lubricated prophylactic device.
Pack of Tobacco Industry Products
Pack (27) having a group of tobacco industry products wrapped in a laminate (2) to form a bundle (22). The pack has a base (28) containing the bundle, and a lid (30) mounted to the base for rotation between open and closed positions. The laminate has an outer layer (3) having a first cut (5) that defines an outer layer region bounded by said first cut and, an inner layer (4) having a second cut (6) that defines an inner layer region bounded by said second cut. A part of the outer layer region is attached to an inside surface of the lid such that, as the lid is rotated into its open position, the inner and outer layer regions are lifted causing the inner and outer layers to delaminate in a peripheral region (15) between the first and second cuts and an opening (19).
Reclosable flap device
A resealable flap device in the form of a sheet, for applying to or incorporating in packaging, comprises: a base layer 30 of flexible material, and an upper layer 40 of stiff material. The sheet is cut (15) through both layers to outline a flap portion 14, the cut leaving an edge in a hinge region 18, the upper layer being removed behind the line of the hinge region 18. In this way the flexible base layer forms a hinge 18 that is easy to handle and does not spring back, while the stiff upper layer maintains the shape of the flap.
MONO-WEB PACKAGE WITH TAMPER-EVIDENT TEAR STRIP AND RESEALABLE FLAP PORTION
A package and method of making a package are provided, where the package includes a removable flap portion built into one panel and a resealable flap portion built into the opposing panel. The package is constructed such that the removable flap portion overlies the resealable flap portion, and peeling away of the removable flap portion reveals a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) of the resealable flap portion and also provides a tamper-evident feature. Once the removable flap portion is peeled away, the consumer can access the contents of the package. The resealable flap portion can be folded over the newly-cut edge of the opposing panel and applied to the outer surface of that panel so as to reclose the package and maintain the contents of the package therein for later consumption.
Composite film
A composite film for closing a container by sealing the composite film against a circumferential sealing surface of the container or of a cap ring to be connected to the container has a support layer made of a metal film and a sealing layer connected to the metal film. The sealing layer comprises a coextruded layer with a cohesively breaking intermediate layer and adhesion promoter layers arranged on both sides of the intermediate layer. The composite film is suitable for tight sealing against sealing surfaces made of polished tinplate.
