RECYCLABLE PACKAGE WITH FITMENT
A flexible package made with a multilayer polyethylene film and an integral fitment; and a process to prepare the flexible package are disclosed. The amount of polyethylene used to prepare the package is at least 90 weight % of the total weight of polymer used to prepare the package, which allows the package to be recycled. The fitment is made from a linear low density polyethylene which facilitates the manufacture of the package.
Flexible container with handles
The present disclosure provides a flexible container (10). In an embodiment, the flexible container includes a front panel (22), a rear panel (24), a first gusseted side panel (18), and a second gusseted side panel (20). The gusseted side panels adjoin the front panel and the rear panel along peripheral seals (41) to form a chamber. The panels form (i) a top portion, (ii) a body portion, and (iii) a bottom portion. The top portion comprises a neck (27) and a fitment (30) in the neck. The front panel comprises a front handle (82) extending therefrom and the rear panel comprises a rear handle (84) extending therefrom. The front handle and the rear handle are in opposing relation to each other, the front handle and the rear handle extending over the first gusseted side panel.
Spout cap, spout, and container with spout
The spout cap of the present invention includes: a cap body that tubularly surrounds a mouth portion of a spout body, and is an injection molded article made of resin; and a sealing film that is bonded to one side in a penetration direction of the cap body and can be thermally bonded to a tip surface of the mouth portion. The cap body includes a tubular body portion, and a tab portion disposed outside in a caliber direction with respect to the body portion. The tab portion includes a tab base portion that projects outward in the caliber direction from the other side in the penetration direction of the body portion, and a tab body portion that extends from the tab base portion toward the one side in the penetration direction and faces the body portion on an outside in the caliber direction.
System and method of discharging a tubular storage assembly
The application relates to a discharge system (1) for discharging a plurality of flexible containers from a tubular storage assembly, comprising: a storage assembly support (12) configured to support the tubular storage assembly; a discharge device (14) configured to remove the containers from the tubular storage assembly and move the containers one by one from the second end of the tubular storage assembly towards a discharge region (15), wherein the discharge device comprises: a gripper unit (81); a drive (82, 84) configured to cause the storage assembly and the gripper unit to rotate relative to each other; wherein the gripper unit is configured to grip dispensing spouts of containers successively passing by the gripper unit, to transport the gripped dispensing spouts and associated containers in a substantially axial direction and to collect the dispensing spouts in the discharge region.
Flexible container for concentrated product
Provided are flexible containers for holding a concentrate, the containers comprising: a flexible body holding the concentrate, a spout, a filter element disposed in the spout, the filter element comprising a filter and an attachment element configured to attach to a water source. Also provided are methods of reconstituting concentrated products using the flexible containers.
Container spout
The invention relates to a pourer (1) of a container comprising a pouring nozzle (2) which forms a pouring channel and on the external thread (3) of which a covering cap (4) is screwed. A sealing stopper (6) which closes the pouring channel is guided non-rotatably and is vertically displaceable in the pouring channel of the pouring nozzle. The sealing stopper (6) is retained on the cap which is rotatable relative thereto, such that a screwing on of the cap leads to a lifting of the sealing stopper (6) in the pouring channel. The cap (4) has an upper opening in which the sealing stopper (6) lies with the upper end thereof. The upper end of the sealing stopper (6) has at least one tamper-evident part (7) which breaks off or breaks up when the cap is unscrewed relative to the non-rotatably retained sealing stopper.
Aseptic package fluid dispensing apparatus
A flexible package for dispensing a liquid. The package includes a fitment and a piercing member. The fitment is secured to a wall of the flexible package and has a passageway extending through it and a screw-thread section. The piercing member has a passageway extending through it, a piercing tip, and a screw-thread section. The piercing member is configured for insertion in the passageway of the fitment, with the screw-thread sections engaging each other to cause the piercing tip to penetrate the package, whereupon the liquid within the package can flow into and through the piercing member.

A vertical bag-making/filling/packaging machine (1) includes: a top folding portion (20) which forms a first fold (F1) by folding one of sides of a band-shaped film (F) into a Z shape; a bottom folding portion (30) which folds a center of the film (F) so that side edges (E1, E2) of the film face each other; a first pleat guide (34, 35) which pulls a first pleat (G31) of the first fold (F1) upright; a spout portion-forming portion (40) which forms a spout portion (G8) between the side edges of the film (F); and a second pleat seal portion (51) which forms a second pleat (G32) by heat-welding the side edges (E1, E2) of the film (F) together so as to make the film (F) into a tube shape.
SHEET PACKAGE CAP AND CAPPED SHEET PACKAGE
A sheet package cap that is detachably attached to a sheet package in a film form so as to close an opening provided in the sheet package, the sheet package storing a sheet that is rolled inside, and the sheet package cap including: a cover that covers the opening; and an attachment to attach the cover to the sheet package. The cover includes: an outlet that includes an outlet hole to apply a resistance during taking out of the sheet; and a lid that closes the outlet hole.
SPOUT POUCH
Provided is a spout pouch that suppresses breakage of a pouch main body starting from the vicinity of a flange outer peripheral edge. In a spout pouch, a spout attachment film includes a flange facing region where a flange of a spout faces the spout attachment film. A pouch main body includes a shape control sealing portion formed by fusing a portion of the spout attachment film positioned inward of a connection seal in a transverse direction and a side film. The shape control sealing portion includes a portion positioned in a region between the flange facing region and the connection seal in the transverse direction.
