Food packaging
A gum packaging 100 holding a plurality of gum products is provided. Advantageously, and in accordance with the exemplary embodiment, one or more gum packet portions 200 can be torn from the gum packaging 100 in order to reduce the size of the gum packaging 100. Here, each gum packet portion 200 contains a dosage of gum. Consequently, a retail outlet may sell gum packaging 100 having a user required number of gum dosages by tearing from a main gum packaging 100 a sub gum packaging 100 for purchase, wherein the sub gum packaging 100 has the required number of gum packet portions 200 according to the buyers wishes. Furthermore, a user may purchase a main gum packaging 100 and remove a sub gum packaging 100 having a required dosage for that day or activity, where the sub gum packaging 100 has the required number of gum packet portions 200 according to the selected dosage. This is advantageous because the user only has to carry around the gum required. Moreover, as the gum is consumed and the used gum packet portions 200 torn or otherwise separated from the gum packaging 100, the gum packaging becomes smaller, and therefore more comfortable to carry around.
Microwave Heating Construct

PACKAGING FOR CONFECTIONERY PRODUCTS
A package for a confectionery item, said package comprising a film or wrap which encases the confectionery item and wherein opening means are provided in said package, the opening means comprising at least one transverse and one substantially perpendicular score lines defining a removable portion or releasable flap, and wherein the opening means are positioned such that opening thereof exposes a bite size portion of the confectionery item. Methods for constructing the packaging and products incorporating it form further aspects of the invention.
INTEGRATED CABLE PACKAGING, DEPLOYMENT AND STRUMMING MITIGATION SYSTEM
A cable package for a line array and a method thereof including a first sheet of material, a cable wound in a serpentine shape, where a portion of the cable contacts the first sheet of material, and a second sheet of material attached to the cable and areas of the first sheet of material not occupied by the cable, wherein the areas of the second sheet of material attached to the first sheet of material not occupied by the cable comprises scoring lines to enable separation under tension to form a plurality of strumming mitigation fairings, and wherein the cable with scoring lines in the areas of the second sheet of material attached to the first sheet of material not occupied by the cable is folded onto itself.
Scored candy bar wrapper and method of opening same
A process of forming a candy bar wrapper includes forming a primary score line in a film material and cutting the film material to form the candy bar wrapper. The primary score line extends in a predetermined direction. The film material comprising at least one film layer, a film thickness, a first film surface, and a second film surface opposite the first film surface. The candy bar wrapper has a film length, a film width from a first end of the candy bar wrapper to a second end of the candy bar wrapper. The primary score line is located to permit the simultaneous breaking of a candy bar and splitting of the candy bar wrapper to separate the candy bar wrapper into two pieces in a wrapped candy bar product. A candy bar wrapper and a wrapped candy bar product are also disclosed.
Integrated cable packaging, deployment and strumming mitigation system
A cable package for a line array and a method thereof including a first sheet of material, a cable wound in a serpentine shape, where a portion of the cable contacts the first sheet of material, and a second sheet of material attached to the cable and areas of the first sheet of material not occupied by the cable, wherein areas of the second sheet of material attached to the first sheet of material not occupied by the cable comprises scoring lines to enable separation under tension to form a plurality of strumming mitigation fairings, and wherein the cable with scoring lines in the areas of the second sheet of material attached to the first sheet of material not occupied by the cable is folded onto itself.
