Aquarium conversion systems
A system to convert a framed, open-top, aquarium to a terrarium or vivarium is provided. An attachment device includes a core member having a sidewall groove to accept the insertion of an enclosure sidewall and an aquarium flange groove to accept the insertion of a flange extending from the interior surface of an aquarium frame.
Animal Feeding and Transport Device
The exemplary embodiments provide an animal storage and transportation device comprising an upper enclosure having a floor, a set of supports which elevate the upper enclosure above a horizontal surface, and a primary hole placed within the floor. The device preferably includes a connection assembly positioned within the primary hole and attached to the floor, a transport container removably connected to the connection assembly, and an aperture closing mechanism positioned underneath the primary hole which is adapted to open an aperture which allows one or more small animals within the upper enclosure to be gravity fed into the transport container.
Automated aquaculture mortality removal system and method
A system is provided for automatically removing deceased fish from an aquaculture cage. The system may include an underwater robotic vehicle configured to traverse the aquaculture cage to collect mortalities. The mortalities, once collected, may be brought to a system dock and then removed from the cage.
Pond culture circulation system based on bio-toilet module
Disclosed is a pond culture circulation system based on a bio-toilet module including a culture pond and an annular treatment channel surrounding the culture pond. The annular treatment channel is sequentially provided with a sedimentation zone, a biological purification zone and a water storage zone along a direction of water flow. The culture pond includes a plurality of culture pond units. Each of the plurality of culture pond units is provided with a bio-toilet module in communication with the sedimentation zone through a sewage pipe. The water storage zone communicates with each of the plurality of culture pond units through a gravity-flow culvert. The invention further discloses a use method of the pond culture circulation system based on the bio-toilet module.
Aquatic weed planting plate for aquarium
An aquatic weed planting plate for an aquarium is provided. The aquatic weed planting plate for aquarium includes a plate body and at least four feet. A plurality of planting holes is formed in the plate body at intervals. A plurality of dirt collecting holes is formed around each planting hole. The plate body is provided with fixing devices for fixing aquatic weeds, and each fixing device corresponds to one planting hole. The fixing device includes a fixing sleeve, two clamping members and a luminous ring. The plate body is provided with nets for collecting dirt, each net corresponds to one dirt collecting hole, the lower portion of each net is provided with a connecting tube; a plurality of conveying pipes is also arranged below the plate body, each conveying pipe is communicated with the plurality of connecting tubes, each connecting tube is communicated with the corresponding conveying pipe.
Apparatus and methods for growing organic matter
The present invention relates generally to agricultural growing apparatuses and methods. More specifically the present invention relates to a dynamic, modular, rotating apparatus, and methods related to the apparatus' use and/or function.
Safety system for a fish-tank siphon
A safety system for a fish-tank siphon is an apparatus used to prevent suction of a fish-tank-cleaning siphon from becoming obstructed by fish, underwater plant life, rocks, or other large tank contaminants. The apparatus is configured to protect the intake by preventing potential obstructions from entering the siphon at all. The apparatus includes a grate, a mating mechanism, and a siphon inlet. The grate acts as a protective filter, preventing large items from entering a connected fish-tank-cleaning siphon. The mating mechanism allows for connection of the present invention to a fish-tank-cleaning siphon. The siphon inlet is a section of the fish-tank-cleaning siphon through which the vacuum is applied in order to remove dirty water and water contaminants. The general configuration of these components allows the apparatus to prevent a fish-tank-cleaning siphon from incidentally collecting fish or other underwater creatures, plant life, pebbles, or other contaminants while vacuum-cleaning a fish tank.
Ramped platform device
A ramped platform device for a vivarium includes a first plate that has a fastener engaged to an upper for coupling to an upper rim of a wall of the vivarium, such as an aquarium or a terrarium. The first plate is in substantial abutment to an inner face of the wall. A platform is coupled to and extends substantially perpendicularly from a lower end of the first plate. A second plate that is coupled to and which extends transversely and downwardly from a perimeter of the platform allows an animal to climb up to and down from the platform.
SCRAPER APPARATUS
A scraper apparatus, comprising a scraper blade; a scraper blade holder; wherein the scraper blade and the scraper blade holder are rotatable relative to one another about a pivot connection formable by the scraper blade and the scraper blade holder; wherein the scraper blade has at least one scraper blade fastener; wherein the scraper blade holder has at least one scraper blade holder fastener; and wherein the at least one scraper blade fastener is fastenable with the at least one scraper blade holder fastener via the scraper blade and/or the scraper blade holder being rotated about the pivot connection.
