PLASTIC LINER WITH INNER LINING
The present invention relates to a rigid plastics-material internal container (12) from a thermoplastic plastics material for a pallet container (10) or a similar large-volume retainer for storing and for transporting liquid or free-flowing filling materials, having a flexible inliner (28) from a thin-walled plastics-material or composite-material film that is inserted into the rigid plastics-material internal container (12).
For filling and removal at the base, the thin-walled inliner (28) at the base side has at least one filling and removal connector (42), said filling and removal connector (42) at the front being fixedly welded into a corresponding filling and removal connector (32) at the base side of the rigid plastics-material internal container (12). For filling from above and removal of the filling material at the base side, the rigid plastics-material internal container (12) and the thin-walled inliner (28) can in each case also be provided with an upper filling connector, wherein in this instance the upper filling connector (44) of the thin-walled inliner (28) is likewise fixedly welded into the filling connector (30) of the rigid plastics-material internal container (12).
The thin-walled inliner (28) that is inserted in the rigid plastics-material internal container (12) in the assembled final state by way of vacuuming bears in a fully planar manner on the internal surface of the rigid plastics-material internal container (12), and in the empty non-filled state as well as in the filled state of the rigid plastics-material internal container (12) adheres in an immovable fixed manner, as if adhesively bonded, on the internal surface, in particular also on the upper base of the internal container.
PALLET CONTAINER
The present invention relates to a pallet container (10) for storing and for transporting liquid or free-flowing filling materials, having a thin-walled rigid internal container (12) from a thermoplastic plastics material, having a tubular lattice frame (14), as a supporting jacket tightly enclosing the plastics-material internal container (12), from welded-together horizontal and vertical tubular bars (18, 20), and having a rectangular base pallet (16) on which the plastics-material internal container (12) bears and to which the tubular lattice frame (14) is fixedly connected, wherein the cuboid plastics-material internal container (12) has, on the base side, in the center of the front wall, a protective-housing-shaped molding (26), directed inward toward the inside of the plastics-material internal container (12), for disposing a closable removal fitting (24) in a protected recessed manner, and wherein a likewise cuboidal flexible inliner (28) from a plastics-material film is inserted in the rigid plastics-material internal container (12), said inliner at the top being connected to the filling connector (30) and at the bottom being connected to the removal connector (32) with removal fitting (24) of the rigid plastics-material internal container (12).
In order to facilitate the use of inliners in pallet containers, and in particular to avoid with high reliability a formation of creases by the inliner in the interior of the rigid internal container, according to the invention it is provided that the cuboid-shaped flexible inliner (28) in the lower removal region has a corresponding wall recess (34), directed inward and adapted to the protective-housing-shaped molding (26) of the rigid plastics-material container (12), having a flexible removal connector (42) molded thereon, which is configured so as to bear completely in an exact fit on the internal surface of the molding (26) that protrudes in a protective-housing manner into the interior of the rigid plastics-material container (12).
INLINER
The present invention relates to a flexible inliner (28) from a multi-layered plastics-material film, having an upper filling connector (30) and a lower retrieving connector (32), in particular for a pallet container (10) for storing and for transporting liquid and free-flowing filling goods. In order for the use of inliners in pallet containers to be improved and in particular for the barrier effect of the multi-layered film to be maintained also over comparatively long transportation and storage periods, it is provided according to the invention that the filling/retrieving connector (30, 32, 54) is welded to the inliner wall (56) in such a manner that existing film cutting edges (68, 70) are covered in relation to contact with the filling goods, and no film cutting edge (68, 70), neither the film cutting edge on the welded flange rim (58, 66) of the welded filling/retrieving connector (30, 32, 54) nor the film cutting edge on the internal-side delimitation of a retrieving opening (72) in the inliner wall (56), comes into contact with the filled liquid filling goods.
BINS AND BIN ASSEMBLIES
Bins and bin assemblies are disclosed. An example bin assembly may include a base having a top board with an upper surface and a lower surface. A first set of side walls may be detachably coupled to the top board. The first set of side walls may include a first side wall having a securing member designed to engage the lower surface of the top board. A second set of side walls may be detachably coupled to the upper surface. The second set of side walls may include a second side wall having a pin member depending therefrom and designed to engage an aperture formed in the upper surface of the top board. A first interlocking member may be along an inner surface of the first side wall. A second interlocking member may be disposed along an inner surface of the second side wall.
Rigid container for a flexible pouch for holding a biopharmaceutical fluid, assembly comprising such a flexible pouch and such a container, and method for using such a container
The container includes a lower wall and an erect side wall limiting an upper opening of a housing for accommodating a flexible pouch containing a fluid; containment elements including a containment wall, the gap between its peripheral edge and the side wall being limited; the containment wall adapted to be applied against the pouch and held fixed in this position by holding elements arranged in the container and borne by the containment elements by a structural and functional combination, and being movable between an inactive retracted state and an active expanded state, in which a distal end part is either moved away from the side wall or applied there against without any chance of sliding; and adapted to be applied at any desired location of a zone of the side wall such that the containment wall can be applied and held against the pouch regardless of how full the latter is.
LIGHTWEIGHT TRANSPORT, STORAGE, AND DELIVERY SYSTEM
Reusable, flexible, lightweight, low cost flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) for the delivery of granular proppant material for fracing that will allow the transport of higher weights of proppant, such as sand, per truck load. The invention includes a container made of a high strength, flexible material with a top opening for loading and deploying the proppant. The container can be lifted and deployed with a fork truck or crane. Alternatively, proprietary deployment systems, such as a conveyor system, can be used to quickly and efficiently deploy the proppant from the container at a desired site.
BULK MATERIAL SHIPPING CONTAINER
A bulk material shipping container including a pallet, a compartment mounted on the pallet, a material unloading assembly, and a material loading assembly.
Fluid containers and fluid container systems
An example fluid container includes a main body and a support leg. The main body has a bottom wall and a sidewall that extends from the bottom wall. The bottom wall has a bottom wall first internal surface and the sidewall has a sidewall first internal surface, a sidewall second internal surface, and defines a passageway. The bottom wall first internal surface extends from the sidewall second internal surface toward the passageway at a downward slope. The support leg extends from the main body and is sized and configured to support the fluid container.
Method for loading a 3D flexible pouch to be filled, system for loading and storing this flexible pouch and associated support device
A support device (20), mounted on an upper edge of a container (3), includes lifting elements that define a support surface (22) which extends transversely outwards from an inner edge (55). The upper end (2b) of a flexible pouch for biopharmaceutical product can rest on this support surface, the rest of the 3D-type pouch extending into the container. The slot (23) which separates the support surface into two portions defines a guide path for a flexible supply line (9a, 9b) for the pouch (2) that is connected at its bottom to the end (2b). A convex surface is formed at the rear end of the slot and above the edge of the container, so as to guide and facilitate the passage of the line (9a) into the housing, when the filling state is sufficiently advanced. The causes of poor deployment of the pouch are thus minimized, without human intervention.
