This invention relates to containers. In particular this invention relates to bottles having an outer cardboard shell and an inner lining or pouch and to a method of manufacture of such bottles. A container comprising a paperboard outer shell and an inner lining has a main body portion, a neck portion providing an opening of the container extending from a first end of the main body portion and a base on which the container may be supported in use provided at a second end of the main body portion. The outer shell comprises a first side wall element including a part of the neck portion and a part of the main body portion of the container; a second side wall element including a part of the neck portion and a part of the main body portion of the container; and a third base element including the base of the container, wherein, said first, second and third elements are separate elements bonded together to form the shell, and wherein said first, second and third elements are formed from flat sheet material pressed to form the 3-dimensional shape of the shell.
Packing carton and related machine and method
A packing carton for packing pouch-type beverage containers stands on two sides, referred to as bottom surfaces, while in the open state and comprises halves which are open at their respective tops. Each bottom surface is delimited on four sides by carton sides, and the halves have a common longitudinal side, which is bent in the middle when in the open state, and comprises stiffening flaps on the transverse sides. The stiffening flaps are extensions on the transverse sides. A machine for closing such a packing carton is also disclosed, as well as a related method for closing the packing carton.
Liners for bulk containers
Described are liners for bulk containers that are abuse resistant. The liners include at least one sidewall. The sidewall includes at least an exterior ply and an interior ply. Optionally, the sidewall may include at least one intermediate ply. One of the plies includes a first polyolefin-silicone copolymer. The adhesion between the plies is from 0 g/2.54 cm to 50 g/2.54 cm (0 g/in to 50 g/in).
Box for receipt of bags containing liquid
A connector assembly controllably couples a box having a plurality of containers containing a liquid, is provided. Each container has a fitment. The connector assembly includes a housing, a valve assembly, actuator and a locking plate. The valve assembly includes a plurality of fitment receptacles. The actuator is rotatably coupled to the housing and is movable between an open position, a closed position and an engaged position. The locking plate assembly includes a plurality of opening corresponding to each fitment. The opening has a first diameter when the actuator is in the open position. The first diameter of the opening is configured to allow entry of the fitments into the opening. Movement of the actuator from the open position to the closed position closes the opening to a second diameter.
BAG-IN-BOX PACKAGE
The invention relates to a bag-in-box package (1) being made of a material composition which is recyclable in the paper recycling stream. The package (10) comprises: a box (10) made of a cellulose fiber material, and a bag (30) comprising cellulose-based material and having an oxygen and moisture barrier function. The bag (30) is placed at least partially inside the box (10) and non-detachably connected to the box (10).
Recyclable Shipping Pack and Method of and Apparatus for Forming a Shipping Pack for Loose-Fill Produce
A container blank (1), so sized and shaped as to form a shipping pack having front (2) and rear (3) walls to which there are attached, along respective fold lines (2a, 2b, 3a), side wall sections (11, 12;16, 17) each being foldable so that said front and rear walls are in juxtaposed alignment, wherein an interior open-mouthed bag (30) is adhered to the inner surfaces of the front and rear walls. When a shipping pack is erected from said container blank, the folded interior bag (30) is deployed to align with the inner volume of said erected pack so as to provide an open-mouthed container with open-mouthed interior bag to be filled and subsequently sealed for dispatch. The shipping pack is configurable in a folded flat stackable form having an interior bag in situ for storage or dispatch and is easily machine assembled or manually formed into an open-mouthed shipping pack at point of use.
Wine storage container
A wine container including: a lid; a lower portion including a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, wherein the first end includes an opening and the second end includes a base; a handle; and a perforated region, wherein the lid is configured to be attached to the lower portion at the first end of the lower portion, wherein the handle is attached to the lower portion, wherein the perforated region is located on a bottom third of the lower portion; and wherein the perforated region is configured to be removable to form a perforated opening.
DETERGENT PRODUCT
An outer-container suitable for storage and transport of a plurality of detergent-containers comprising a liquid detergent composition; wherein the outer-container has an internal volume of from 10 to 500 L; and wherein the outer-container material comprises at least 30 wt. % cellulose; and wherein the outer-container comprises one or more detergent-containers, wherein at least one of the detergent-containers has an internal volume of from 0.1 to 10L; and has an external surface which comprises one or more externally applied layers comprising less than 5 wt. % cellulose; and comprises a liquid detergent composition which comprises: from 5 to 60 wt. % of surfactant; and from 0.00001 to 0.5 wt. % of a dye which does not contain sulphonate groups and is ethoxylated.
