The container, which is provided with a generally planar annular flange integral with the body and extending around the upper opening, has a decorative layer around the side wall. The upper portion of the side wall tapers toward the opening. Either a peripheral bulge is formed in the side wall at a junction between the upper portion and a lower portion, or the lower portion has a generally cylindrical shape. The decorative layer is defined by a plastic sleeve that includes a shrink film annularly secured to the upper portion, the sleeve extending adjacent or over the junction.

A capsule for preparing a nutritional product in a device adapted to supply liquid into the capsule is disclosed. The capsule includes at least one compartment for providing nutritional ingredients for the preparation of the nutritional product in combination with the supplied liquid, and the compartment includes a liquid impermeable membrane forming a release side of the compartment. The capsule further includes at least one relief element. Also disclosed is a membrane for use in the manufacture of said capsule. Also disclosed are methods of producing and using the membrane and capsule.

A capsule for preparing a nutritional product in a device adapted to supply liquid into the capsule is disclosed. A packaging bag includes a cutting guide band extending along a transverse direction. The cutting guide band includes, a first guide band having first cut lines that are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the transverse direction; a second guide band having second cut lines that are inclined at a predetermined angle in a direction opposite a direction of the first cut lines with respect to the transverse direction; and a third guide band having third cut lines that are inclined at a predetermined angle in the same direction as the direction of the first cut lines with respect to the transverse direction. The cutting guide band has a fourth cut line between the first guide band and the second guide band and/or between the second guide band and the third guide band, the fourth cut line being perforated and extending along the transverse direction.

A packaging bag includes a cutting guide band extending along a transverse direction. The cutting guide band includes, a first guide band having first cut lines that are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the transverse direction; a second guide band having second cut lines that are inclined at a predetermined angle in a direction opposite a direction of the first cut lines with respect to the transverse direction; and a third guide band having third cut lines that are inclined at a predetermined angle in the same direction as the direction of the first cut lines with respect to the transverse direction. The cutting guide band has a fourth cut line between the first guide band and the second guide band and/or between the second guide band and the third guide band, the fourth cut line being perforated and extending along the transverse direction.

A woven laminated plastic bag having features that further prevent leakage of contents out of the bag, or infestation of organisms into the contents of the bag is provided. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.

A food package container may have an integrated spout that can be used to dispense the contents of the container into a consumer's mouth. In some examples, the food package container includes an elongated, flexible-wall container body providing a tubular chamber holding a foodstuff. The container has a spout formed by a narrowing of the container body in a region extending upwardly away from the tubular chamber. For example, spout may be bound on one side by the container body and further bound on an opposite side and on a top edge by a seal joining opposed walls of the container body together. To open the spout, a weakened line may extend laterally across the container body adjacent the top edge of the spout and longitudinally across the container body adjacent the side of the spout bound by the seal.

A cigarette pack with an outer pack (10) in the embodiment as a hinge lid box and with an inner pack (11) as a sealed block is provided with an opening tab (21) for the inner pack (11) and with a closure label (23) for actuating the opening tab (21). The closure label (23) is fixed on the inner side of a lid front wall (34) by means of an actuating tab (28) and is movable with the lid (30) into the opening position. Pressure members (45, 46) cause the closure label (23) to be pressed with regions of glue onto the inner side of the lid front wall (34).
