SEALING CONTAINER
A sealing container is designed to enable a user to adjust the timing of discharging the contents. The sealing container includes: a bag-shaped member for accommodating the contents therein, a sealing film for sealing the bag-shaped member, an opening means so configured that at least a part of which is movable toward the sealing film and is capable of opening the sealing film, an operation unit for performing an operation of moving the opening means, and a discharge means configured to be capable of discharging the contents from the bag-shaped member at a timing different from a timing at which the opening means penetrates the sealing film by operating the operation unit. It is possible for the user to perform only the operation of opening the sealing film by operating the operation unit, so that the user is able to arbitrarily adjust the timing at which the content is discharged from the bag-shaped member of the sealing container.

A manually indexable dispenser, a system, and a method are provided for use with dispensing a nutritional supplements cartridge having a plurality of serving chambers each sealed by a membrane to store a volume of granulated nutritional supplement. The dispenser, the system, and the method are configured to transmit a wireless signal indicative of dispensing of supplements and/or a time of dispensing, and receive a wireless signal containing data indicative of a user notification for a reminder for a user to take a supplement at a specified time.

A pod for storing and dispensing a beverage preparation ingredient during a dispensing operation. The pod comprises a body (202) defining a cavity for storing the beverage preparation ingredient. Said body comprises a closed surface having a central axis (B); and a side wall (210) disposed around the central axis, extending from the closed surface (214) in a direction away from the closed surface, wherein an edge (216) of the side wall distal from the closed surface defines a dispensing side of the body. The pod further comprises a closing member for closing the dispensing side and scaling the cavity. The body further defines an actuation member (204) extending from the closed surface of the pod towards the dispensing side. The actuation member being configured to exert a force on the closing member to cause an opening to be formed between the cavity and a region outside of the pod around the perimeter of the wall at the dispensing side.
POD FOR BEVERAGE PREPARATION INGREDIENT
A pod for storing and dispensing a beverage preparation ingredient during a dispensing operation. The pod comprises a body (202) defining a cavity for storing the beverage preparation ingredient. An indexable dispenser extracts single-serving doses from a multi-serving supplements cartridge for delivery as a drinkable solution. The indexable dispenser includes a lance that punctures one serving chamber at a time so that its granulated contents can be drained into a mixing cup. The lance is attached to a rotatable flap, along with a spur. The spur punctures a membrane covering a marker zone when the flap is closed to enable machine readability. The granulated supplements are mixed with water before consumption. The indexable dispenser is configured with a dispensing window to reveal only one serving chamber at a time. The supplements cartridge is manually positioned so that an unopened serving chamber is presented in the dispensing window each time for extracting its supplements. The mixing cup may be collapsible, and together with a cap, stored in a cavity of the supplements cartridge for travel.

The present invention is directed to a packaging (1) comprising: a body (2) defining an interior volume (6) for carrying a flowable product, andan opening element (4) comprising an opening part (4.0) which is arranged inside the interior volume (6). The body (2) is configured such that, when a predetermined external force (F) is exerted on an activation section (8) of the body (2), the activation section (8) is displaced relative to the interior volume (6) so as to activate the opening element (4) until the opening part (4.0) creates an opening extending in an openable section (12) of the body (2) and allowing the flowable product to flow out of the interior volume (6).
