CULTURED MILK PRODUCT COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed herein are cultured milk product compositions that comprise protein, lipid, and oligosaccharide components at concentrations that mimic and/or are substantially similar to bovine milk. The cultured milk product compositions include one or more milk components produced in vitro and/or ex vivo from cultured bovine mammary cells.
VACUUM VOLUME REDUCTION SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH FLUID FILL ASSEMBLY FOR A VACUUM TUBE VEHICLE STATION
There is provided a vacuum volume reduction system having a volume reduction assembly of a fluid fill assembly coupled to a station wall of a vacuum tube vehicle station, to reduce a volume, under vacuum, in the vacuum tube vehicle station, when a vacuum transport tube vehicle is positioned in the volume at the vacuum tube vehicle station. The fluid fill assembly includes one or more containers, each containing a fluid, and fluid transport member(s), to transport the fluid from the container(s) to one or more enclosed volume portions formed between an exterior of the vacuum transport tube vehicle and an interior of the station wall. The fluid fill assembly further includes one or more fluid pump assemblies attached to the fluid transport member(s), and a control and power system. The vacuum volume reduction system further includes recessed area(s), a vent-to-vacuum assembly coupled to the recessed area(s), and seal elements.
Zero-OxTech® Process for preservation of enzymes in the protein muscle and its applications
The present invention relates to Zero-OxTech process and method for preserving natural enzymes with the protein muscle, and its application for increasing the shelf-life of retail-ready meat & poultry cuts. This invention explicitly proves that the oxygen absorption is a FIRST-ORDER chemical reaction, and henceforth, an absolute zero-oxygen atmosphere is possible. This absolute zero-oxygen atmosphere prevents the natural enzymes within the protein muscle, which assists in the long-term shelf-life extension of proteins. The Zero-OxTech process, its components, and its application for proteins' enzymes preservation is described in detail in this invention and has application for domestic and inter-continental trade of proteins while retaining the natural protein enzymes.
Method for vacuum packing high-purity tin and vacuum-packed high purity tin
Provided is a high-purity tin product that does not contain undesirable carbonaceous impurities as a result of the following: a vacuum-packed high-purity metal article (vacuum-packed high-purity tin article) is obtained by vacuum packaging a high-purity metal (high-purity tin), at least a portion of a surface of a high-purity metal being covered with a fluorocarbon resin sheet; and the vacuum-packed high-purity metal article(vacuum-packed high-purity tin article) is obtained by vacuum packaging, with a vacuum packaging film, the high-purity metal in which at least a portion of a surface is covered with the fluorocarbon resin sheet.
Self-sealing container for protecting air sensitive samples
A self-sealing container, used for transferring one or more air sensitive samples between vacuum systems, includes a housing with a cavity that holds the sample(s), and a lid disposed on top of the housing. The lid is configured to interface with the housing to form a seal over the cavity when the lid is closed. At least two flexure systems, each coupled to the housing and the lid, are disposed on opposing sides of the housing. The flexure systems apply forces to the lid that move the lid horizontally and vertically above the housing, into an open position. A pneumatic actuator, movably coupled to the housing and the lid, that is actuated by a change in ambient pressure. When actuated, it applies forces that move the lid horizontally and vertically to the closed position, in opposition to and in excess of the forces applied by the flexure systems.
Apparatuses and methods for container content preservation
One feature pertains to a device that includes a main body having a bottle-receiving end that receives a bottle and forms a substantially airtight seal between the main body and an exterior surface of the bottle surrounding a mouth of the bottle. The bottle-receiving end has a bottom opening to allow for fluid-flow communication between an interior air cavity of the main body and a headspace of the bottle. The device further includes a stopper securement device, and a vacuum pump that evacuates air out of the interior air cavity and the headspace to create a vacuum or partial vacuum within the headspace. The device also includes a means for inserting the stopper into the mouth of the bottle using the stopper securement device after the vacuum pump evacuates air out of the interior cavity and the headspace.
Vacuum volume reduction system for a vacuum tube vehicle station
A modular tube volume reduction assembly for use at a vacuum tube vehicle station is provided. The assembly includes a modular station vacuum tube having a tube volume and a plurality of cavities longitudinally formed around a circumference of the modular station vacuum tube, and a volume reduction assembly integrated with the modular station vacuum tube, where the volume reduction assembly includes a plurality of blocks longitudinally coupled to a cavity interior of each of the plurality of cavities. The assembly includes a control system coupled between the modular station vacuum tube and the blocks. The control system radially moves the blocks to and from a vehicle outer surface of a vacuum transport tube vehicle at the vacuum tube vehicle station. The assembly displaces the tube volume between a station wall and the vehicle outer surface, and reduces the volume to be evacuated at the vacuum tube vehicle station.
VACUUM SKIN PACKAGES FOR SOFT PRODUCTS AND VACUUM SKIN METHOD OF PACKAGING
The present invention relates to the use of multilayer films of certain modulus, thickness and composition for vacuum skin packaging soft products such as, for instance, minced meat and to the packages so obtained. Advantageously, the VSP packages of the invention keep hermeticity and have a pleasant appearance.
SPUTTERING TARGET PACKAGING STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF PACKAGING SPUTTERING TARGET
A sputtering target packaging structure comprising: a sputtering target including a cylinder part, a flange part disposed on an opening part at one end of the cylinder part, and a cap disposed on an opening part at the other end of the cylinder part; and a packing material made up of a sheet and covering an inner surface and an outer surface of the sputtering target in a close contact state, wherein the packing material includes seal parts on both end sides of the sputtering target.
Vacuum assisted self-priming heart lung machine in a box
The availability of a heart-lung machine in a box provides an opportunity for saving lives in emergency situations arising outside a hospital and for more cost effective care in hospital settings.
