Systems and methods for airflow management around palletized cases of goods in a warehouse storage facility are provided, in which airflow around each individual layer of cases is facilitated while airflow spillage around the sides, top or bottom of pallet assemblies is minimized or eliminated. One exemplary device for such airflow management includes palletized product spacers disposed between respective layers of vertically stacked cases, in which the product spacers facilitate a substantially unidirectional longitudinal airflow. Another exemplary airflow management device is a series of automatically adjustable air dams disposed at the tops of respective pallet assemblies which prevent air spillage and establish intermediate air manifold spaces. Yet another device is a lateral pallet spacer prevents direct abutment of the side surfaces of neighboring pallet assemblies and thereby ensures that the air manifold spaces are in fluid communication with the spacers of multiple pallet assemblies.

BASKET TOTE WITH CADDY AND REMOVABLE MINI CADDY

A basket tote having both a caddy and a removable mini caddy is disclosed. The removable mini caddy attaches to the caddy with a series of guide walls and guide wall retainers that allow the removable mini caddy to be cooperatively received by the caddy. The handle of the removable mini caddy nests with the handle of the caddy while they are attached, providing the user with a single handled basket tote that is easy to transport and use while still having the convenience of an extra tote where objects can be temporarily removed and then replaced without the need for transferring the objects from one tote to another. The removable mini caddy may be easily removed and then replaced within the caddy while remaining securely in place during use and transport.

Ventilated container for produce
10294005 · 2019-05-21 · ·

A ventilated container for produce includes a bottom, sidewalls extending upwardly from the bottom, and a rim having a flattened top surface. The sidewalls include at least one ventilation opening located proximate the rim of the container thereby permitting the rim of the container to be generally flat and uninterrupted. The location of ventilation opening(s) proximate the rim of the container allows the flow of rising ethylene gas within the container to exit near the top of the container improving ventilation within the container. A plastic film can be applied over the top of the container and is adhered to the container with an adhesive to form a secure and rigid seal between the film and the container. The flattened surface of the rim improves the adherence between a film and the container to enclose and seal the container, aids the rigidity of the container, and lessens the likelihood of the edges of the rim being bent or folded when pressure is exerted to protect produce provided within the container. Moreover, an aperture on the bottom of the container provides drainage of liquid from the container and allow air to flow.

Liquid-crystal-glass packing case and a moisture-proof packing structure

A liquid-crystal-glass packing case comprises a case body, which includes a bottom and side walls integrated connecting around the bottom, wherein, a filter screen assembly is fixed on the case body, and the case body is capable of communicating inside and outside by the filter screen assembly. Wherein, a slot is disposed at a gap arranged on the side walls, and the filter screen assembly is interposed in the slot. Also, a hole slot is penetrating from the side walls of the case body to the bottom, and the filter screen assembly is interposed in the hole slot to provide solid supporting efficiency. The invention also provides a moisture-proof packing structure. The invention overcomes a prejudice of moisture-proof and sealing from people, provides a thought of putting into and dispersing out, and applies a utility of liquid-crystal-glass packing case and moisture-proof packing structure to get a better moisture-proof efficiency.

MICROWAVE POUCH

To provide a microwave pouch that favorably prevents both of hole formation of the pouch and spurting of contents, with a simple structure. A microwave pouch (10) includes a self-venting mechanism (20). The self-venting mechanism (20) has an annular venting seal (30), a steam release part (40) surrounded by the venting seal (30), and a movable piece (60) defined by a slit (50) formed in the steam release part (40). The venting seal (30) has a seal peel initiation part (31) where peeling is started by steam generated inside the pouch (10) during heating. The slit (50) includes slit both ends (51), and a slit intermediate part (52) formed to extend from the slit both ends (51) toward a region away from the seal peel initiation part (31) and connecting the slit both ends.

ATMOSPHERE CONTROL DEVICE, REQUIRING MINIMUM INTERVENTION FOR INSTALLATION IN REFRIGERATED CONTAINERS, SAID DEVICE BEING A STANDALONE, COMPACT AND REUSABLE DEVICE COMPRISING A LONG CYLINDRICAL BODY, A BATTERY AREA, AN ELECTRONICS AREA, A HANDLING AREA, A COVER AREA, AND A GAS EXCHANGE AREA

Atmospheric control valve device, part of an atmospheric control system built into a refrigerated container, whose installation requires minimal intervention and is self-sufficient, compact and reusable due to its long, cylindrical body that includes a battery compartment. The body also has a compartment for the electrical, electronic and sensor elements; a handling compartment for the elements that handle the device; a cover area to cover the container after removing the device; and a gas exchange compartment for two-way gas exchanges, controlled by a solenoid valve and by the differences in pressure that occur naturally within the refrigerated container.

Dry purge desiccator and method
10246240 · 2019-04-02 · ·

My desiccator comprises a plurality of chambers in series communication with each other so a desiccating gas flows from one chamber into an adjacent chamber. A desiccating purge gas is introduced through an inlet into the desiccator's chambers at a predetermined flow rate, and a one-way bleed valve allows gas within the chambers to constantly flow from the desiccator while maintaining a positive pressure within the desiccator. A fan that constantly mixes and circulates the gas between the chambers as the desiccating purge gas is introduced into the desiccator, constantly diluting the gas within the chambers with a fresh supply of the desiccating gas. My method employs my desiccator to store items, wherein a dry, pressurized desiccating gas is introduced into the desiccator's chambers in a manner that constantly circulates the gas between the chambers as gas is slowly bled from the chambers, constantly diluting the gas within the chambers with a fresh supply of the desiccating gas. In my method the dew point of the desiccating gas is from 20 to 90 F, the pressure of the desiccating gas is from 30 to 120 psi, and the average flow rate of the desiccating gas into the desiccator is from 0.25 to 4.0 cubic feet per minute.
