The present invention provides a peelable microwavable food package capable of absorbing undesired liquids released from packaged food products during storage, display, or heating, including microwave cooking. The present invention provides a peelably sealed microwavable food package in any packaging format including pouches, flow-wrap, horizontal form fill seal (HFFS), vertical form fill seal (VFFS), gas-flushed, vacuum-packaged, sealed rigid plastic containers and the like.

A pharmaceutical waste disposal assembly includes a fluid receiver body for receiving fluid pharmaceutical waste, said fluid receiver body may comprise a material that is clear, opaque, or otherwise see-through and having a capacity. The assembly also includes a first reaction agent positioned within the fluid receiver body, the fluid pharmaceutical waste contacting the first reaction agent to change the fluid pharmaceutical waste in one of a chemical and physical manner so that the fluid pharmaceutical waste is rendered unrecoverable. The assembly also includes a fluid absorber positioned within said fluid receiver body, said fluid absorber configured to absorb and retain fluid pharmaceutical waste deposited in said fluid receiver body. There is disclosed is a cosmetic-product packaging. The cosmetic-product packaging includes an outer container, an inner container and a lid. The lid is pivotally coupled to the outer container. The inner container comprises customizable holding tabs and a planar side panel of the outer container is reflective.

The invention relates to a sachet (10) and a packaging machine and a method for producing a sachet, the sachet forming a closed chamber (18) in which a product is accommodated, the sachet being made of only one film web (12) which is formed into a tube (11), a weld seam (13) being formed in a longitudinal direction along the sachet, a closure seam (16, 17) being formed at each end (15) of the sachet, wherein a strip (20) having a desiccant is disposed within the chamber, the strip being welded to the film web.

This invention relates to a membrane and method for the preservation of agricultural produce. According to a first aspect of the invention there is provided a membrane for the preservation of agricultural produce comprising first and second outer polymeric layers, at least one of the outer polymeric layers being impregnated with a hydrophilic agent, and an inner layer dispersed in between the outer layers, the inner layer consisting of a polymer being impregnated with a carrier for incorporation of an antimicrobial volatile into the inner layer, the inner layer further including an absorptive agent, wherein in use, the membrane is placed proximate to agricultural produce to be preserved.

An absorbent paper laminate, having an absorbent paper layer, a nonabsorbent high-density paper layer and an adhesive applied in a layer between the absorbent and nonabsorbent layers forming a laminate. The laminate has a surface which is provided with an array of perforations formed by needle punctures or a series of slits sized to allow steam to pass therethrough while retaining grease and oil in the absorbent paper layer. The preferred adhesive layer is selectively in a cellular pattern. A paper board food container can be formed having an absorbent paper laminate body defining a cavity for receiving a food item and absorb grease and oil. Optionally an exterior surface of the container is sized to be held in the hands of a user having an exterior surface with a second absorbent layer that can act as a napkin absorbing grease and oil from the hands of the user.

The present invention provides a disposable and recyclable food product package having a first inner surface, the first inner surface being constituted of a food-safe material, the first surface being constituted of a recyclable material, a second external surface constituted of an absorbent material, the second surface being constituted of a recyclable material such that the first inner surface abuts and is secured to the second external surface.
