20200130907 · 2020-04-30 · ·

A single-serve beverage receptacle includes a reservoir, arranged to contain a beverage or a beverage additive, and is provided with a bore, an outlet opening into the reservoir, at least one opening leading out of the reservoir, a bottom plug having a closed position the opening being sealed in a liquid-tight manner, and an open position where the opening is clear, a piston mounted in the bore, the piston being movable between first and second positions. The first position requires the bottom plug to be in the open position. The piston has a skirt and a disc rigidly connected to each other. The skirt having an outer surface in contact with the reservoir and an inner surface with an imprint arranged to be connected in a liquid-tight manner to an opening in a beverage container such that during the connection, the piston moves from the second to the first position.

Bifurcated Bottle

A bifurcated bottle, wherein the primary compartment comprises a secondary leading edge disposed circumferentially in the top neck portion of the primary compartment, a primary leading edge disposed vertically above the secondary leading edge in the top neck portion of the primary compartment, and a screw thread finish disposed within the top neck portion of the primary compartment above the primary leading edge. A bifurcating device is affixed to the spout portion of the secondary compartment and situated in the neck portion of the main compartment. The purpose of this is to separate the two liquids or liquid/solid mixture until the time of use.

DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR ADDITIVE DISPENSING

This disclosure includes techniques, apparatuses, and implementations for providing a beverage additive and mixing device compatible with standard pre-packaged beverage containers, such as cans, plastic bottles, or glass bottles. For example, in one implementation, the beverage additive and mixing device may be configured to releasably couple with an open beverage container. Once coupled the beverage additive and mixing device may be used to dispense pre-configured amounts of additives, such as a flavor, national supplements, or sweeteners, into the open beverage container.

Beverage system including a removable piercer

Apparatuses related to a beverage system. The system includes a piercing apparatus that includes an inner ring composed of a rigid material and an outer ring composed of a flexible material that encompasses the inner ring. The outer ring has an upper portion disposed above the inner ring that has a greater range of motion than the outer ring that encompasses the inner ring. The piercing apparatus further includes a piercer composed of a rigid material that is connected to the inner ring by a plurality of arms that radially extend from the piercer to the inner ring. The plurality of arms define a plurality of openings between the arms. The outer ring includes a protrusion that circumferentially protrudes outward from an outer surface of the outer ring.

FLUID DISPENSING BOTTLE CAP AND BOTTLE SYSTEM
20200102137 · 2020-04-02 ·

A fluid dispensing bottle cap includes a cap body having a closed top end and an open bottom end. A hollow reservoir is positioned within the interior space of the cap body and is accessible via an aperture that extends through the top end of the cap body. The reservoir is constructed from a resilient material and has a slit along the bottom end for discharging a stored liquid. Another embodiment of the present invention includes a dispensing valve that is positioned within the reservoir body to release a measured amount of the stored liquid upon receiving a pressing force.

A fresh fruit-stick product has a semi-rigid tube having an inside diameter, an inside length, one closed end and an open end, a cylindrical plug of fruit having an outside diameter somewhat smaller than the inside diameter of the of the semi-rigid tube, and a length somewhat less than the inside length of the semi-rigid tube, the cylindrical plug or fruit fully inserted in the semi-rigid tube, natural fruit juice in the tube with the plug of fruit, and a sealing cap over the open end.

SYSTEM FOR MIXING TWO COSMETIC PRODUCTS
20200071055 · 2020-03-05 · ·

A system for mixing two cosmetic products includes a tubular bottle defining a first reservoir containing a first product to be mixed, a tubular cartridge defining a second reservoir containing a second product to be mixed, a retaining device suitable for retaining the cartridge on the bottle in an injection position in which the first reservoir communicates with the second reservoir via the inlet orifice of the base and the injection orifice of the cartridge, a perforator having an upper edge designed to perforate the cap that seals the inlet orifice when the cartridge occupies the injection position, and a piston that seals the lower end of the cartridge and that is axially slidably mounted between an initial bottom position and a final top position in order to push the second product through the injection orifice from the second reservoir to the first reservoir.

Container and method for adding a mixture component

The invention relates to a container and to the use thereof. The container has a chamber with a base for receiving a mixture component and an adapter for fixing the chamber to a second container. The adapter is connected to the chamber via a first connector and has a second connector to connect to the second container. Additionally, the adapter forms a flow channel for the mixture component extending between the first and the second connector. The adapter also has a blade element in the flow channel comprising a blade facing the base of the chamber in order to open the base. The first connector allows the chamber to rotate relative to the adapter and to the blade, said blade designed to cut through the base of the chamber along the edge of the base while the chamber rotates.

REAGENT COMPONENT DISPENSING CAPS FOR REAGENT CONTAINERS USED IN AUTOMATED CLINICAL ANALYZERS

Described is an automated reagent dispensing cap and methods of use in an automated clinical analyzer for introducing one or more reagent components housed in the reagent dispensing cap into a container enclosing another reagent component with which it is combined to achieve a reagent useful for diagnostic testing.

Baby bottle with joinable dry goods section and liquid section
10556736 · 2020-02-11 ·

A baby bottle with a liquid compartment and a separate dry goods compartment is described. The dry goods compartment and the liquid compartment may be removably sealable from each other by rotating a lower-annular-member with respect to an upper-annular-member; wherein these two annular-members may be disposed between a bottle-main-body and a nipple-member. Each of these two annular-members may have its own respective opening and shelf-portion and may be rotated with respect to each other from an open-configuration to a closed-configuration. In the closed-configuration, dry goods, such as dry baby formula, may be temporarily stored within the dry goods compartment, in a substantially dry condition, separated from a liquid within the liquid compartment. When desired these two annular-members may be rotated into the open-configuration, to allow the dry goods to substantially fall into the liquid compartment, to facilitate mixing with the liquid in the liquid compartment.
