CONNECTING ARRANGEMENT, CONNECTING SYSTEM, CONTAINER AND CONTAINER SYSTEM
A fluidic connection for producing a connection between a first container and a second container, wherein, for producing a fluidic connection, a first and second connecting arrangement can be coupled to one another and an opening brought about by the coupling, as a result of which a passage is produced which is suitable for interconnecting the interiors of the containers.
Container for storing and mixing food items
A portable container includes a top portion defining a first hollow region configured to store a first product, a bottom portion rotatably coupled to the top portion and defining a second hollow region configured to store a second product, and a sealing mechanism configured to selectively fluidly couple the first and second hollow regions during relative rotation of the top and bottom portions. The sealing mechanism is movable between a closed position in which the first hollow region of the top portion is fluidly isolated from the hollow region of the bottom portion, and an open position in which the first hollow region is fluidly coupled with the second hollow region. Rapid relative rotation of the top and bottom portions causes the sealing mechanism to move from the closed position to the open position.
Dispenser cap and method of use
A dispenser cap includes a threaded top to mount to a container having a product stored therein, the threaded top having a CAM positioned within an interior; a base engaged with the threaded top; a transfer chamber positioned within an interior of the base and having an opening extending therein, the transfer chamber having a predetermined volume; a baffle ring engaged with the threaded top, the baffle ring having one or more openings to open and close between the threaded top and the transfer chamber such that the product can flow therethrough; and a plunger extending into the base and having an opposing CAM engaged with the CAM such that interaction cause opening and closing of the transfer chamber; rotation of the base relative to the threaded top causes the plunger to extend and contract such that product is loaded into the transfer chamber and dispensed from the transfer chamber.
TRANSFER CANNULA
A transfer cannula for sterile transfer of fluids to powders or fluids to fluids from a first receptacle into a second receptacle has two tube sections running in the same direction which have different lengths in the longitudinal direction of the tube sections, the longer tube section terminating in an insertion tip. The tube sections are rigidly connected to a coupling wall surrounding the tube sections in a cylindrical manner. The coupling wall has a cutout which extends as far as an end edge of the coupling wall and in which, when viewed from the side, an insertion tip of each tube section is exposed. The coupling wall projects beyond the insertion tip in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the tube sections, and the cut-out widens in a corresponding V-shape at the end edge.
Dispenser Actuator Assembly
A dispenser actuator assembly (100) for actuating a dispenser (10) is disclosed. The dispenser (10) is in the form of a glass ampoule assembly (10) having a rupturable glass ampoule (12) containing a flowable material (M). The glass ampoule (12) is contained within an outer container (14) wherein the outer container (14) has a first open end (22) and a second closed end (24). The glass ampoule assembly (10) has an applicator (16) positioned in the first open end (22). The dispenser actuator assembly (100) has a base member (102) configured to mount on the outer container (14). The dispenser actuator assembly (100) also has an actuator assembly (104) operably connected to the base member (102) wherein the actuator assembly (104) has a first actuator arm (132a) and a second actuator arm (132b) each pivotally connected to the base member (102). The first actuator arm (132a) and the second actuator arm (132b) extend from the base member (102) in generally opposed relation defining a first position, or neutral position. The first actuator arm (132a) has a first protrusion (150a) depending therefrom and the second actuator arm (132b) has a second protrusion (150b) depending therefrom. The first actuator arm (132a) and the second actuator arm (132b) are pivotable from the first position towards one another to a second position, or actuating position, that is configured such that the first protrusion (150a) engages the outer container (14) and the second protrusion (150b) engages the outer container (14) to crush the glass ampoule (12) wherein the flowable material (M) is configured to be dispensed from the glass ampoule assembly (10).
MULTIPLE DOSING DEVICE AND MAGAZINE
The present disclosure concerns a multiple dosing device and magazine for releasing one or more doses of additive. The multiple dosing device comprises a magazine having a number of through openings, each receiving a tube, containing a dose of additive. The through openings and tubes (2) extended axially between two opposite ends of the magazine. The tubes are arranged moveable in an axial direction inside respective through opening. Each tube has a pointed lower end. An upper foil and a lower foil are placed adhered to the opposite ends of the magazine. The ends of the tubes are placed abutting or adjacent the upper and lower foils, respectively. The multiple dosing device further comprises an activation part with push buttons, which push buttons are placed for controlling the axial position of one tube each.
Beverage System Including A Removable Piercer
Apparatuses related to a beverage system. The system includes a piercing apparatus that includes an inner ring composed of a rigid material and an outer ring composed of a flexible material that encompasses the inner ring. The outer ring has an upper portion disposed above the inner ring that has a greater range of motion than the outer ring that encompasses the inner ring. The piercing apparatus further includes a piercer composed of a rigid material that is connected to the inner ring by a plurality of arms that radially extend from the piercer to the inner ring. The plurality of arms define a plurality of openings between the arms. The outer ring includes a protrusion that circumferentially protrudes outward from an outer surface of the outer ring.
Multi-chambered substance container
A container includes an upper chamber, a lower chamber, and a physical actuator, and may include chambers. Each chamber includes a different substance. Each chamber is sealed off from adjacent chambers and the atmosphere. At least one of the chambers is sealed at below atmospheric pressure, which helps hold that chamber in contact with one or more of the other chambers. When the physical actuator is activated, the seals between the chambers are opened to each other and atmosphere, which causes the substances to mix together in the chamber that was previously maintained at below atmospheric pressure. The change in pressure differential also assists in the mixing.
