A dispenser (10) for dispensing flowable materials has a container (12) having an outer wall (20), a dividing wall (21) and a membrane (14) operably connected to define a first chamber (22), a second chamber (24) and a third chamber (16). The dividing wall (21) is connected to the membrane (14) at an interface (30). The first chamber (22) defines a first volume and is configured to contain a first flowable material (M1), and the second chamber (24) defines a second volume and is configured to contain a second flowable material (M2). The membrane (14) has a first section (34) having a first rupturable member (40) and a second section (36) having a second rupturable member (40). The first section (34) is separated from the second section (36) by the interface (30). The third chamber (16) is positioned adjacent the membrane (14) generally opposite the first chamber (22) and the second chamber (24), wherein the third chamber (16) defines a third volume and is configured to receive the first flowable material (M1) and the second flowable material (M2) upon rupture of the first rupturable member (40) and the second rupturable member (40) wherein a mixture (MX) is formed. The first volume and the second volume are collectively approximately equal to the third volume.

ADJUSTABLE ADDITIVE DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND METHODS

An additive delivery system may incorporate a cartridge system, including a container cap and a reservoir assembly that provides for storage of an additive. The container cap includes a mixing nozzle for mixing of the additive with a base fluid as the base fluid flows from the base fluid container through the cartridge. A one-way valve prevents backflow of base fluid and/or mixed base fluid/additive from an area downstream of the mixing nozzle such that the base fluid supply remains in a pure state.

Method and apparatus for dispensing reactive two-part systems

A two-component reactive dispensing system that is pliable is comprised of an outer sausage tubular member having therein an inner sausage tubular member in which the inner tubular member is bonded to the inner surface of the outer sausage tubular member longitudinally along a portion of the outer surface of the inner tubular sausage member. The compartments formed by the inner and outer tubular sausage members are filled with materials that are reactive with each other and the ends are sealed by gathering the ends and sealed using, for example wire wrap around clips.

A dispenser for substances includes an outer shell with a deformable outer wall which encloses the deformable container arrangement and also comprising at least one balancing valve for balancing air, wherein an air filled interspace is provided between the outer wall and the container arrangement and substances are dispensed once the outer shell has been subjected to pressure, and wherein the container arrangement has at least two containers for the separate storage of liquid for pasty substances. For long term storage of the substances in particular an outlet portion of the container arrangement has a diffusion seal made from metal which is pierced and opened by the dispensing head using points just before the dispenser is being used.
