Packaged Frozen Precooked Dough or Batter-Based Food Products and Methods
Disclosed are packaged frozen precooked dough or batter-based food products and methods of heating the food products. The packaged precooked frozen dough or batter-based food products comprises one or more frozen precooked dough or batter-based food products that are encased in a pouch for heating. The pouch is sealed with the exception of the presence of two or more vent holes that function to release air or steam that may otherwise cause the food product to become soggy when they are heated in an oven.
MICROWAVE PACKAGING MATERIAL
A microwave packaging material for forming a construct for holding a food item. The microwave packaging material can comprise a film at least partially secured to a substrate by a pattern of adhesive. A plurality of closed cells can extend between the film and the substrate, each closed cell of the plurality of closed cells can be at least partially defined by the pattern of adhesive, and each of the closed cells can be configured to expand during heating to form respective expanded cells. The microwave packaging material further can comprise a bonded region extending along at least a portion of the microwave packaging material. The film can be secured to the substrate along the bonded region, and the bonded region can be for forming at least one recess among the expanded cells and can be for extending along the food item when the microwave packaging material is heated.
MICROWAVEABLE FROZEN LOBSTER TAIL CONTAINING CANNABIS AND METHOD OF DELIVERY OF CANNABIS COMPOUNDS
In one embodiment, a minimally-processed microwaveable lobster product including a lobster tail, a fat-containing composition, and a microwaveable package. The lobster tail has a shell containing lobster meat. The shell has a longitudinal axis with at least two cuts formed generally parallel to the longitudinal axis, the tail meat is also split longitudinal. The fat-containing composition is disposed in the ventral region of the lobster tail. The microwaveable package has first and second resilient layers. The first resilient layer is disposed under the lobster tail and contacts the lobster tail. The second resilient layer is disposed above the lobster tail and contacts the lobster tail and the fat-containing composition.
In another embodiment the lobster tail is prepared with Cannabis missed with the fat-containing composition. This embodiment is similarly microwaveable.
PACKAGED ARTICLE
A packaged article includes a packing bag which includes a welded portion that hermetically seals a container compartment in which a fluid content is contained. The welded portion includes a weak sealant section configured to be parted when the container compartment is pressed to communicate the container compartment and the exterior of the packing bag. A strong sealant section is configured to maintain a welded state at the time when the weak sealant section is parted. The container compartment includes a primary container section and a secondary container section. The secondary container section includes a narrow neck that is narrower than the primary container section in a width-wise direction, which corresponds to a direction in which the weak sealant section extends. The secondary container section is in communication with the primary container section at the narrow neck. The secondary container section is located adjacent to the weak sealant section.
Microwaveable packages having a composite susceptor
Microwaveable packages having composite susceptors and methods for using same are provided. In a general embodiment, composite susceptors for cooking microwaveable foods (12, 14) in a microwave oven are provided. The composite susceptors may include, for example, a first layer that is a standard microwave susceptor (30) and a second layer (32) comprising mobile charges, wherein the second layer is at least substantially metal free. The second layer comprising mobile charges can both shield the standard susceptor from microwaves, and act as a conductor to increase the conductivity of the standard susceptor. The composite susceptors of the present disclosure provide improved surface heating patterns that are similar to surface heating patterns of conventional ovens, while also providing the benefits of microwave cooking.
Heated Food Packing Material
Provided is a heated food packing material including a sheet-like body capable of wrapping a food to be heated; and a penetrating part penetrating the sheet-like body. The heated food packing material is configured to be used for heating the food wrapped therein in such a manner that one surface of the sheet-like body faces outside. The heated food packing material further includes a sheet-like covering part disposed to cover the penetrating part and configured to allow water vapor to pass therethrough.
Transparent Poly(Phenylene Ether) Compositions, Their Methods of Manufacture, And Food Packaging Films And Containers Derived Therefrom
This invention generally relates to transparent compositions containing a blend of poly(phenylene ether) and styrenic polymer, methods for their manufacture, and food packaging films and containers derived therefrom.
POUCH
A pouch according to an embodiment is a pouch having an accommodation space that accommodates contents, and including a pair of sheets, and a pair of side seal portions sealed to form the accommodation space, wherein at least one of the pair of side seal portions includes a first seal portion located near the top portion, a second seal portion located near the bottom portion and separated from the first seal portion, and a steam discharge seal portion configured to connect the first and second seal portions, to protrude to the accommodation space side, and to release steam, a portion formed by a first region between the first and second seal portions and a second region surrounded by the first region and the steam discharge seal portion is an unsealed region, and a penetration portion that passes through at least one sheet in a thickness direction is formed in the unsealed region of the at least one sheet.
PRE-COATED SEASONING BAGS
A seasoning bag for seasoning a foodstuff that includes an edible adhesive adhered to an interior of the seasoning bag and a seasoning adhered to the interior of the seasoning bag via the edible adhesive. The seasoning bag may be used in connection the preparation and/or cooking of foodstuffs. The bag may be used to season, marinade, and store a foodstuff. The bag may also be a cook-in bag, suitable for roasting, microwaving, slow cooking, and/or boiling.
