TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED CASE AND TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED PACKAGE INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed herein is a temperature controlled case. The temperature controlled case includes a base and a stepped portion protruding from an upper surface of the base, wherein the stepped portion has a rectangular shape having a major axis and a minor axis in top plan view, a height of the base is the same as a maximum height of the stepped portion protruding from the base, and maximum distances from an edge of the base to the stepped portion in the major axis and minor axis directions are the same as the height of the base or the maximum height of the stepped portion.
Interlocking Insulated Vessel
An interlocking vessel includes a cylindrical container secured inside an insulated receiving component by reciprocal screw threads. The cylindrical container has a first screw thread with a plurality of turns for engagement with a cap and a second screw thread with a plurality of turns along the exterior of the body extending downward from a top portion of the body to the bottom of the cylindrical container. The insulated receiving component has a reciprocal screw thread along the interior of the body for engagement with the cylindrical container. In one embodiment, turning the cylindrical container in a downward clockwise motion engages the reciprocal screw threads, thus securing the cylindrical container in the insulated receiving component.
INSULATED SHIPPING CONTAINERS WITH COMPOUND INSULATION HAVING SPACE THEREBETWEEN
Provided are insulated shipping containers and shipping container systems that include outer side boundaries, in which a container or box may be contained, which outer side boundaries include smooth side walls and corresponding ridged side walls, wherein said smooth side walls and corresponding ridged side walls face one another and have one or more ridges therebetween, such that taken together, the facing smooth side walls and ridged walls form at least one side space therebetween and form outer side boundaries of an insulated shipping container. The insulated shipping containers may also include a top and/or bottom boundary that also include at least two layers, having ridges or other spacer therebetween to form at least one top and/or bottom space. The present systems may further include an over-shipper box and/or one or more interior boxes, which may be adapted to include e.g., a payload and/or heat transfer element therein for temperature control. Further provided are kits which may include one or more components used in the present containers and/or systems, and methods of assembling such containers and/or systems.
Bodily Fluid Transporting Unit
A bodily fluid transporting unit that includes a container with a syringe housing and a refrigerant pack in the container. The container is covered by a lid and the engagement of the container and the lid results in an air-tight and moisture-tight bodily fluid transporting unit.
Product box suitable for receiving temperature-sensitive materials and shipping system including the same
Product box for use in a shipping system for temperature-sensitive materials and shipping system including the product box. In one embodiment, the product box includes a front, a rear, a left side, and a right side. The upper edges of the front and the rear are higher than the upper edges of the left side and the right side. The box also includes upper flaps hingedly connected to the upper edges of each of the front, the rear, the left side, and the right side and further includes lower flaps hingedly connected to the lower edges of each of the front and the rear. When folded, the upper flaps of the front and the rear are spaced above the upper flaps of the left side and the right side, thereby forming an air gap. Wings at the upper edges of the four sides center the product box within a container.
FLORAL PACKAGING METHOD AND APPARATUS
An apparatus and method for the protection and transportation of floral arrangements are shown. The apparatus includes a container defining a central volume. A tray is included for the suspending of a floral arrangement within the central volume. A decorative base is configured to surround a portion of the flowers. An insert is in communication with the container and configured to cradle a portion of the decorative base so as to restrict movement. The floral arrangement is tied or coupled to a portion of the tray. An optional temperature regulating device may be inserted to assist in maintaining the freshness of the floral arrangement.
Thermally insulated package
A thermally insulating package comprises an outer shell (6) formed from a foam insulating material, a plurality of vacuum insulated panels (12) removably received on the walls of the outer shell (6) and a plurality of phase change material panels (18) arranged within the vacuum insulated panels (12) to define a payload space.
LONG-DISTANCE TRANSPORTATION CASE AND TRANSPORTATION METHOD FOR BLACK SOLDIER FLY EGGS AND LARVAE
The present application provides a long-distance transportation case for long-distance transportation of black soldier fly eggs and larvae, including a case body, a case cover, and a plurality of insulation components inside the case body; wherein the insulation component comprises a sealed bag with a phase-transition material filled therein; and the plurality of insulation components are arranged in the transportation case to form a holding space for accommodating the egg boxes. The present application also provides a transportation method for black soldier fly eggs and larvae.
Returnable Cold Chain Packaging Composite
Provided is a reusable composite container comprising a thermally insulating inner container fitted within a durable outer container. The outer container can also be thermally insulating. In preferred embodiments, the inner container comprises expanded polystyrene and the outer container comprises one or more of expanded polypropylene (EPP), EPS (Polystyrene), EPE (Polyethylene), PEPP (porous EPP) and PS/PE (Polystyrene/Polyethylene). The composite container can be used to ship temperature-sensitive payloads such as perishable goods.
FOOD CONTAINER AND METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MAKING AND USING THE SAME
Containers for food, and methods and systems for making and using the same. An exemplary container for food can include an insulated tray including one or more sub-units and one or more heat sink units configured to store the food and fit in the tray. An alternative container can include a container base and a receptacle fitting in the container base, the container base including one or more thermal function pieces therein for maintaining a temperature of the receptacle. An alternative container can include a serving base defining one or more slots for holding the food items, respectively, and a cover configured to cooperate with the serving base, wherein at least the serving base, or at least the cover, includes a thermal function piece, the thermal function piece including a phase-change material.
