Refrigerated, thermally insulated, collapsible cover assembly and method of using to transport perishable products
A reusable, substantially airtight, and insulated container system, assembly and method include detachable assembled top, side, and bottom panels to enclose a plurality of pallets of chilled, perishable products for transport. The top panel includes a plurality of pouches positioned within horizontal chambers within the inside top panel surface. Hook and loop closures secure and seal the panel assemblies. Thermoplastic polyurethane nylon fabric panel inner and outer surfaces are bonded to an internal insulation layer with thermal-welded edges. The system, assembly, and method include internal temperature control elements for a real time thermostatically controlled container environment of circulating chilled air protecting perishable products housed within the cover assembly during transport. An embodiment of the cover assembly is configured to a standard LD-7 air transport container base pallet, providing a thermostatically controlled container environment of approximately 745 cubic feet. The assembled top, side, and bottom panels are collapsible for easy storage and transport when not in use.
Insulating Container
An insulating container having a base and a lid is provided. The lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching devices, in the closed configuration. In some examples, the insulating container further includes a pressure regulation device. In other examples, the latching devices further include an elastomeric latch upper and a semi-rigid latch lower configured to engage an insulating container keeper when the when the lid is in a closed and a secured position. In still other examples, the latch upper and the latch lower are configured in a recessed position, and flush with a front side of the insulating container lid and flush with a front side of a bottom portion of the insulating container when the latch device secures the lid in a closed position.
Airtight thermal insulation package
The invention discloses an airtight thermal insulation package with physical sucker structure at the convex edge of the opening thereof, comprising a package body and a side flip cover connected with it; the body upper adopts convex-edge structure, the body and cover comprise thermal insulation inner and connecting outer layers; the structure upper has sucker rubber ribbon connected with cover; the body has a placing tray guided by the guide block; between the block and tray is an elastic piece providing stretching force for block; the connecting end of body and cover is a snap groove, the cover has a snap block fitting the groove; the outer side of body and cover is a connecting piece for closing them; the tray upper has a concave groove, hinged with two handles. It has following advantages: good sealing, long service life, no food sprinkling, and good thermal insulation effect.
Biodegradable insulative shipping container
A shipping container, particularly suited for shipping wine bottles within a shipping box, having a pair of container halves. Each container half includes an outer tray that is shaped to fit the shipping box, and an inner tray that is configured for securely holding one or more wine bottles. Both the outer tray and inner tray are made of readily recyclable pulp material, and have a void therebetween. A starch based biodegradable insulation material fills the void therebetween, such that the shipping container is made entirely of biodegradable material, yet is sturdy and has insulative properties.
Multipack beverage container insulation system
An insulation system for beverage containers comprising: an inner container surrounding a plurality of cylindrical beverage containers contained in an inner container; a handle included in an inner container top panel; an outer container having a cavity defined in the outer container for receiving the inner container; a pair of lateral spacers disposed lengthwise along corresponding inner upper corners of the out container; an airspace defined between an inner container side panel and an external container side panel having a polygon cross-section; and, a handle access opening centrally defined in an outer container top panel allowing access to the handle of the inner container so that the beverage containers, inner container and out container can be transported using the handle wherein the width of the handle access opening is about one third the length of the outer panel top opening.
Insulating container
An insulating container having a base and a lid is provided. The lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching devices, in the closed configuration. In some examples, the insulating container further includes a pressure regulation device. In other examples, the latching devices further include an elastomeric latch upper and a semi-rigid latch lower configured to engage an insulating container keeper when the when the lid is in a closed and a secured position. In still other examples, the latch upper and the latch lower are configured in a recessed position, and flush with a front side of the insulating container lid and flush with a front side of a bottom portion of the insulating container when the latch device secures the lid in a closed position.
