A solution is proposed for dispensing substances to be taken by a user. A corresponding dispensing device comprises a memory for storing an indication of a taking plan of a plurality of doses of one or more substances, the taking plan comprising an indication of a taking time of each dose, a plurality of compartments each one for containing one of the doses, a signaling unit for providing a taking notice of each dose in response to the corresponding taking time, a pushbutton for releasing the dose corresponding to each taking notice from the corresponding compartment in response to a releasing command; the dispensing device comprises a plate having a collecting surface in a central zone thereof, the compartments being arranged in a peripheral zone of the plate and the pushbutton facing towards the central zone of the plate for collecting the doses released thereby onto the collecting surface. An assistance system is also proposed for facilitating the taking of substances by a user, the system comprising this dispensing device and a processing device of a person in charge of the dispenser device adapted to communicate with each other.
STORAGE DEVICE
A storage device (2) for storing a plurality of objects. The storage device (2) comprises: a carousel (8) defining a plurality of cavities (34); a sealing strip (6) extending around the carousel (8) so as to seal the plurality of cavities (34) and a concentric guide structure (18) extending at least partially around the carousel (8). The storage device (2) further comprises a driving member (42) attached to the sealing strip (6). The driving member (42) is arranged such that when moved relative to the guide structure (18), the driving member (42) pulls on the sealing strip (6) and thereby releases a portion of the sealing strip (6) and subsequently wraps the released portion of the sealing strip (6) around the guide structure (18).
Hearing aid battery packaging
A battery package includes a card, a cover attached to the card, a tray positioned between the card and the cover, batteries, and tabs. The cover includes an opening and a door. The door is movable between an open position to provide access to the opening and a closed position. The tray includes a plurality of receptacles in which are positioned the batteries. Each tab is removably attached to one of the batteries and is positioned between the cover and the battery. The tray is rotatable relative to the card and the cover about an axis of rotation to selectively align one of the receptacles with the opening in a battery removal position. With the door in the open position, the tab attached to the battery in the receptacle in the battery removal position is accessible through the opening from the front of the cover and the peripheral edge of the cover.
Sweep bead dispenser
A single-bead dispenser including a container for holding plural beads in a spherical chamber, a wiper disposed within and rotatable about a horizontal axis of the chamber to sweep the inner wall of the chamber and transport a single contained bead upwardly from the chamber to an opening for discharge to a manually accessible platform on the container while leaving all the other contained beads in the chamber, a geared ring mounted externally of the container and manually rotatable about a vertical axis of the chamber, and a gear secured to the wiper and engaged and driven by the geared ring for effecting sweeping rotation of the wiper when the ring is turned. The wiper may be a lune of a hollow sphere close to and concentric with the chamber inner wall and may bear a dispensing scoop shaped to capture and convey a single bead to the opening.
