Child-Resistant Package Assembly
Disclosed are package assemblies and methods of making the same, wherein the assemblies can include, among other elements, an outer carton defining an interior product storage compartment; an inner product support card slidably received within the product storage compartment; the inner support card having a main body portion and one or more flaps; and one or more primary product packages, each being secured to one of the one or more flaps.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A DRUG MEDICAMENT TRAY
A system and method to assemble a medicament dispensing tray including a tray housing having a machine-readable tray housing identification code and a plurality of drug blister strips mounted to receptacles of the tray housing, each strip having a machine-readable strip identification. The system typically includes a holder to hold the tray housing while drug blister strips are mounted to the tray housing and comprising a holder housing configured to receive the tray housing, a first sensor configured to detect a tray housing identification code of the tray housing received within the holder housing, and a plurality of second sensors each configured to detect a strip identification code of the drug blister strip mounted to the tray housing received within the housing, and software executable on a computational device comprising program instructions configured to instruct an assembly operator on how to assemble the dispensing tray according to a patients prescription.
Pharmaceutical package
The invention relates to a carrier for pharmaceutical compositions, the carrier comprising at least a first and a second portion. Each of the first and second portions comprises at least two cavities for housing pharmaceutical composition, and at least one cover sheet covering said at least two cavities. The cavities of the first and second portions are arranged so that the first and second portions can be placed in an overlapping configuration with the cavities of the first portion positioned in spaces between the cavities of the second portion. At least one of the cavities of the first portion comprises at least one bulge, and at least one of the cavities of the second portion comprises at least one depression adapted to engage with said at least one bulge to form a mutual engagement between the first and second portions. By this engagement, mutual movement of the first and second portions is restricted, so that a rigid structure is produced. The invention further relates to a pharmaceutical package such a carrier and a container for holding said carrier.
Dispensing container for blister pack of medication
A dispensing container for a medication blister pack is formed of a front holder portion having a plurality of openings aligned with the blisters and a rear catching container snap fastened to the holder portion to catch and hold medications which can be released by the user operating a flap. The catching container includes an integrally molded leg portion hinged thereon for movement to extend rearwardly to support the container in an upstanding position from a horizontal support surface. The holder portion is formed as a separate molded portion defining a front face of the dispensing container at which the blister pack is exposed with top and bottom edges each forming a slot defined between the panel and an overlying component so as to allow the blister pack slide along the panel to lie on the panel with the top and bottom edges trapped by the slots.
MEDICINE CONTAINER, METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE CONTAINER, AND METHOD OF DISPENSING THE MEDICINE FROM THE CONTAINER
A child-resistant medication container assembly that includes a blister card including a plurality of compartments each configured to support a dosage of medication, and a puck including a body portion, a recess that defines a partition wall in the body portion, and a plurality of openings defined in the partition wall. Each opening corresponds to one of the plurality of compartments in the blister card. The assembly further includes a carton including a first wall opposite a second wall. An access opening is defined in the first wall and a plurality of perforations are defined in the second wall. The access opening is sized to provide access to the plurality of compartments, and each perforation corresponds to one of the plurality of compartments in the blister card.
MEDICATION PACKAGING AND DOSE REGIMEN SYSTEM
A medicament dispensing container includes a first wall connected with a second wall and defines a cavity therebetween. The walls are movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. At least one member is disposable in the cavity and defines at least one dose receptacle configured for disposal of at least one dose of at least one medication. At least one fixation member connects the at least one member to at least one of the walls such that the at least one member is movable relative to the wall. Systems and methods of use are disclosed.
Medication dispensing tray adapter and system
Disclosed is a medication dispensing tray adapter for attachment to a medication dispensing tray, the tray adapter having a slidable overlapping foil layer to incrementally expose the compartments of the medication dispensing tray. The tray and tray adapter may be combined into a medication dispenser apparatus that delivers the medication dispensed from the tray compartments to the patient.
High efficiency automated pharmaceutical dispenser
A system, method and corresponding apparatus are provided for packaging, storing, tracking, and dispensing pharmaceuticals in unit doses in a highly efficient manner. In particular, a method of packaging pharmaceuticals within a ribbon having a plurality of adjacent segments each containing a unit dose of a pharmaceutical and having associated data indicia for efficient and uniform transport, tracking, storage and dispensing is provided. Pharmaceuticals are loaded into an automated dispenser that is networked with computers for accepting prescriptions and dispensing pharmaceutical accordingly.
Portable pill dispenser device using pill cartridge with enclosed pill strip
A portable pill dispenser device mountable with one or more pill cartridges that dispense pills by winding a pill strip that encloses pills between flexible films. The pills are enclosed in the pill strip and are released as the films of the pill strip are separated. The pill dispense device include actuators (e.g., motors) that cause winding cylinders in each of the pill cartridges to rotate, causing the pill strip to move towards an opening of each pill cartridge, separate the films of the pill strip, and release the pills through the opening. Indicia may be marked on at least one of the films to enable detection of the moving distance of the pill strip. The pill dispense device includes a sensor for detecting the indicia so that the movement of the films and release of the pills can be tightly controlled.
