A PHARMACEUTICAL PACKAGE
The invention relates to a carrier for pharmaceutical compositions, the carrier comprising at least a first and a second portion. Each of the first and second portions comprises at least two cavities for housing pharmaceutical composition, and at least one cover sheet covering said at least two cavities. The cavities of the first and second portions are arranged so that the first and second portions can be placed in an overlapping configuration with the cavities of the first portion positioned in spaces between the cavities of the second portion. At least one of the cavities of the first portion comprises at least one bulge, and at least one of the cavities of the second portion comprises at least one depression adapted to engage with said at least one bulge to form a mutual engagement between the first and second portions. By this engagement, mutual movement of the first and second portions is restricted, so that a rigid structure is produced. The invention further relates to a pharmaceutical package such a carrier and a container for holding said carrier.
PACKAGING
A package includes an outer sleeve and a slider for holding a blister pack slidably mounted within the outer sleeve. The outer sleeve has a locking edge. The slider has a locking flap extending in a direction away from the closed end of the outer sleeve for engagement with the wall of the outer sleeve. The flap has a free edge which provides a pair of locking edges for engagement with the locking edge of the outer sleeve wall. The outer sleeve has a release button which may be pressed to deflect the slider flap away from the wall of the outer sleeve and enable the free edge of the slider flap to slide past the locking edge to allow the slider to be withdrawn from the outer sleeve.
Child-resistant, senior-friendly package
A child-resistant package is provided having a hollow carton with opposed front and rear walls and a separate blister card having a plurality of separate, spaced-apart hollow blister compartments contained therein. The front wall of the hollow carton comprising a structure including an exterior wall panel having a plurality of openings, gates, or pull tabs and an interior wall panel adhesively secured to the exterior wall panel. The interior wall panel of the front wall has a plurality of chads aligned between the openings and blister compartments. The rear wall of the hollow carton comprising a structure including an exterior wall panel having a plurality of separate, openings and an interior wall panel adhesively secured to the exterior wall panel. The interior wall panel of the rear wall having a plurality of break-away chads located directly between the blister compartments and the openings.
CHILD RESISTANT AND SENIOR FRIENDLY DISPENSING SYSTEM
A child resistant and/or senior friendly dispensing system may include a housing, an insert plate for attaching multiple unitary dose containers and that can slide in and out of the housing and a locking means for locking the insert plate to the housing. The locking means may include a locking clip that can extend or retract to realize locking or releasing of the insert plate. The locking means enables a user to open the insert plate only when squeezing the locking clip inward with sufficient force with one hand and pulling the insert plate with another hand simultaneously. The housing may have one or more locking holes on the side walls and the locking clip may have one or more locking tabs positioned to mate with the locking holes. The system may have a sensor network and a circuitry to monitor the dispensing of unitary dose and output the result.
Packaging
A package includes a container made from a paperboard, cardboard or other foldable sheet material, and houses at least one blister pack. The blister pack is secured within an internal space of the container by means of a frangible connection, breakage of the frangible connection allowing complete removal of the blister pack from the container.
Child-resistant and senior-friendly eco-friendly pill dispenser blister package
A blister and package system made of a blister card and an outer package with unique interacting locking mechanisms. The blister card or strip is inserted into the outer package or sleeve and locks immediately without having to further process the outer package or the blister card or strip. The user is able to expose the blisters from the outer package by disengaging the lock. The blister card or strip includes a formable, pliable sheet material, into which one or more individual cavities or blisters are formed. The separated cavities are loaded with product and sealed with one or more layers of puncturable or tearable sheet material, such as aluminum foil. The blister card or strip contains a plastic rivet assembly that forms an interference mechanism. The rivet is trapped by an internally formed panel and stopped by a catch flap included in the outer package.
PACKAGING SYSTEM, SLEEVE AND SLIDE CARD
A primary package (10; 110; 210; 310; 510; 610; 810) for being lockably received in an outer sleeve (700), the primary package comprising a main body panel (12; 112; 212; 312; 512; 612; 812) and a retention tab (14; 114; 214; 314; 512; 612; 812) hingedly connected together along a fold line (17; 117; 217; 317; 517; 617; 817), the retention tab having at least one embossment (18; 118; 218; 318; 518; 618; 818), the fold line having been integrally formed in the primary package.
LOCKABLE ADVANCEABLE ORAL DOSAGE FORM DISPENSER CONTAINERS
This invention provides a blister pack dosage form container, comprising an advanceable blister pack holder, comprising a series of access portals sized to accommodate pass-through of at least one dosage form contained within a multi-dosage form containing blister pack located within said holder proximally therethrough upon engagement of an appropriate depilling structure, wherein said advanceable blister pack holder optionally accommodates upright positioning of said dosage forms and said depilling structure displaces said dosage form laterally. The invention also provides a multi-dosage form container, comprising an advanceable multi-sectioned dosage form holder, comprising a series of access portals sized to accommodate pass-through of at least one dosage form contained within said multi-sectioned dosage form holder proximally therethrough upon alignment with an appropriate egress structure, optionally wherein said multi-sectioned dosage form holder accommodates upright positioning of said dosage forms such that said egress structure provides for lateral displacement of said at least one dosage form; and a lockable outer container, comprising a tamper proof casing within which the multi-sectioned dosage form holder is contained. Kits containing the blister pack dosage form container and multi-dosage form containers are also described.
Outer Packaging for Blister Packaging
The present teaching relates to a packaging unit for one or more individually removable products, in particular tablets, including a blister packaging and a bag-type outer packaging, in which the blister packaging is enclosed. The blister packaging is movably arranged in the outer packaging and can be brought into at least one removal position, in which the removal of at least one of the products is enabled. The blister packaging has at least one positioning element, and the outer packaging has at least one receiving element for the positioning element, wherein the positioning element arranged in the receiving element defines the removal position.
