Systems and methods are provided for delivering single-dose packages sequentially from a substantially continuous strip having a first dispensing end and a second end, e.g., contained within a cassette or other dispenser. The strip includes a cover layer attached to a base layer to define a plurality of blisters therebetween that have one or more medications therein. The blisters are aligned in single file generally along the longitudinal axis between the first and second ends and/or otherwise arranged in single-dose packages adjacent one another, e.g., at least some of the single-dose packages including a plurality of blisters having different types of medications therein. A first single-dose package at the first dispensing end may be separable from a second adjacent single-dose package such that individual single-dose packages may be removed successively from the first dispensing end.

MEDICATION PACKAGING AND DISPENSING SYSTEM

A medication packaging and dispensing system is provided. The system may include a plurality of medication booklets containing medication and a tray that is configured to retain the medication booklets. Each medication booklet may include a sequential tab assembly of pull tabs that aligns with a plurality of front cutouts and a plurality of back cutouts. This alignment configuration facilitates dispensing the medication from the medication booklet. The tray may include a riser that extends from a bottom wall of the tray at an oblique angle, and a first guide panel including a plurality of linear stops. The oblique angle may correspond to a pitch of the first guide panel. The riser and the plurality of linear stops may cooperate to maintain the medication booklets in a staggered configuration that is substantially parallel to the bottom wall of the tray. The system may further include a container for retaining the tray.

A dispenser (10) for easily dispensing a plurality of products (12) contained therewithin is provided. The dispenser includes a cover (14) having a pressing opening (32) and a dispenser volume, a base (16) having an dispensing opening (36) and an engaging member (46), a blister tray (18) having at least a portion of the blister tray disposed within the dispenser volume and having a tab (56) extending from an edge of the blister tray for manually rotating the blister tray with respect to the cover and base while being retained within the dispenser volume, and a label (20) configured to be applied and adhered to the cover and the engaging member of the base to hold the dispenser together.
