Each opening corresponds to one of the plurality of compartments in the blister card. The assembly further includes a carton including a first wall opposite a second wall. An access opening is defined in the first wall and a plurality of perforations are defined in the second wall. The access opening is sized to provide access to the plurality of compartments, and each perforation corresponds to one of the plurality of compartments in the blister card.
Multi-compartment package for consumable products, and method for configuring and using such a package
A package (10) for storing and dispensing a consumable product (24, 34) includes a first compartment (20) and a second compartment (30) that are hingedly and detachably attached by a first connection member (40) such as a perforated hinge, and a second connection member (52, 54, 56) that is removably attached to the compartments (20, 30). In a preferred embodiment, the second connection member includes a tear-strip (52) with one or more lines of weakness (58, 62). A related method for configuring and using such a package is also described.
Package and a slide for such a package
A package comprises a housing and a slide. The slide is slidably accommodated in the housing in a sliding direction. The slide comprises a bottom wall, side walls connected to the bottom wall as well as at least one flange-shaped upper edge spaced from the bottom wall, which is connected to the side walls. The flange-shaped upper edge comprises two parts that extend parallel to the sliding direction. Each part is provided with at least one hook-shaped element. The housing comprises two side walls. Each side wall is provided with at least one recess in which one of the hook-shaped elements connected to the slide can be positioned for at least locking the slide in position in the housing The hook-shaped elements can be moved out of the recesses against spring force, after which the slide can be moved in the sliding direction in the housing. The slide is provided with a box being connected to the bottom wall of the slide. The box comprises walls located at a distance from the side walls of the slide. The walls of the box bound an opening being sealable by means of a foil.
Secure package for tablets
A secure package (1) intended to receive a blister (3) including at least one tablet located in a dimple (3a) closed by a seal (3b). The package (1) includes a packaging (2) with longitudinal axis of symmetry (X, X′), defining a lower space in which a movable wall (4) is located connected to a resilient feature (5). The packaging (2) includes at least one upper wall (2a) which includes at least a first opening (7) intended to receive the dimple (3a), the movable wall (4) and the upper wall (2a) defining a recess intended for positioning of the blister (3), the moving wall being intended to adopt two positions, namely a release position for releasing at least one tablet and a closed position intended to close off at least one seal (3b), while the moving wall (4) includes at least one second opening (8) which comes to be positioned opposite a first opening (7), namely intended to come to be positioned opposite a seal (3b), when the moving wall (4) is in the release position.
Machine and methods for dispensing nutritional supplements and multi-serving cartridge therefor
A granulated nutritional supplement dispensing machine extracts single-serving doses from a multi-serving supplements cartridge for delivery as a drinkable solution. A lead serving chamber is pierced so that its powered contents drain into a mixing cup together with a metered quantity of water from an integrated water tank. A vibrator unit assists drainage of the granulated materials from the lead serving chamber. The mixing cup is rotated at high speed to blend the water and supplements into a slurry. The supplements cartridge is indexed after (or before) use so that an unopened serving chamber is presented each time for extracting its supplements. This enables partially-used supplements cartridges to be used in the machine, as is conducive in multiple-user households. The supplements cartridge is configured with read-write data capability to indicate whether or not the contents of each serving chamber have been emptied.
Lockable advanceable oral dosage form dispenser containers
This invention provides a blister pack dosage form container, comprising an advanceable blister pack holder, comprising a series of access portals sized to accommodate pass-through of at least one dosage form contained within a multi-dosage form containing blister pack located within said holder proximally therethrough upon engagement of an appropriate depilling structure, wherein said advanceable blister pack holder optionally accommodates upright positioning of said dosage forms and said depilling structure displaces said dosage form laterally. The invention also provides a multi-dosage form container, comprising an advanceable multi-sectioned dosage form holder, comprising a series of access portals sized to accommodate pass-through of at least one dosage form contained within said multi-sectioned dosage form holder proximally therethrough upon alignment with an appropriate egress structure, optionally wherein said multi-sectioned dosage form holder accommodates upright positioning of said dosage forms such that said egress structure provides for lateral displacement of said at least one dosage form; and a lockable outer container, comprising a tamper proof casing within which the multi-sectioned dosage form holder is contained. Kits containing the blister pack dosage form container and multi-dosage form containers are also described.
