CONTROL DEVICE FOR OPENING/CLOSING A VALVE OF A VALVED CONTAINER, ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A VALVED CONTAINER AND SUCH A CONTROL DEVICE
A control device (1) for controlling opening/closing of a valve (16) of a valved container (11), said valve (16) comprising a valve body (17) provided with an orifice (18), a shutter (19) for shutting the orifice (18), the shutter being made at least in part out of a magnetic material, and a return member (20) for returning the shutter (19) of the valve (16) into the closed position of said orifice (18), said device (1) including at least one location (3) for receiving the valve (16) of said container (11), said location (3) comprising a housing (31) into which the valve (16) of the container (11) is suitable for being inserted, and a control system (5) for controlling opening of the valve (16), which system is suitable for being positioned at least in part around said location (3), said control system (5) being configured to hold the shutter (19) of the valve (16) in a position in which the orifice (18) of the valve (16) is open when the valve (16) is in its state in position in said location (3). The control system (5) has at least one permanent magnet (6) suitable for exerting a force of attraction or of repulsion on the shutter (19) in the direction for opening the shutter (19).
Two-fluid discharge container
Provided is a two fluid discharge container comprising: a container body; a piston partitioned by a first storage part and a second storage part, which are accommodated in the container body and are each to be filled with content, and a pressurized space to be filled with a pressurizing agent; and a valve mechanism that closes an opening in the container body, and has a passage through which the first storage part and the second storage part communicate. The first storage part and the second storage part are concentrically formed, and the contents of the first storage part and the second storage part are simultaneously pressurized by the piston so as to be discharged.
Reusable spray apparatus
A portable and reusable liquid spray apparatus, the spray apparatus configured to spray a liquid onto any surface. The apparatus has a spray housing which has a liquid chamber within. The liquid chamber having an opening into which a liquid may be poured and retained within the chamber. A propellant housing configured to engage the spray housing and form a first seal with the spray housing which precludes spillage of the liquid. The propellant housing holds a propellant having a pressure above atmospheric pressure. The propellant housing forms a second seal with the spray housing which precludes leakage of the propellant into the atmosphere. The spray housing also has a passage to supply the propellant into the liquid chamber. The spray housing includes a spray valve and a spray nozzle. The spray valve is configured for releasing the liquid from the apparatus thru the spray nozzle when the valve is actuated. Liquid to be sprayed is poured into the liquid chamber and the propellant housing is engaged with the spray housing. When the spray valve is actuated, the propellant forces the liquid thru the spray nozzle and out of the apparatus.
Device for producing sclerosing microfoam
This invention relates to apparatus and devices that generate sclerosing microfoams for the treatment of venous disorders, such as varicose veins. The invention includes adaptors which provide fluid connections to microfoam generating devices, to enable filling with gas and/or dispensing of the microfoam product. The adaptors are generally cylindrical elements with open ends to enable attachment to pressurisable container on one end and are configured to enable rapid and easy attachment of a filling means or a dispensing means through the other end of the adaptor. A particular configuration comprises three or more circumferentially and downward extending cam tracks which cooperate with corresponding cams on the filling means or dispensing means and which connect a pressurisable container to a fluid path of a filling or dispensing means when the pressurisable container and filling or dispensing means are rotated relative to each other.
FLUID MEDIUM DISPENSING SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A DISPENSING SYSTEM FOR A FLUID MEDIUM
The present invention provides a fluid medium dispensing system (1) for dispensing a fluid medium stored under pressure. The system (1) comprises a container (3) for storing the fluid medium under pressure, the container (3) comprising a neck (5) defining an opening (6). A valve cup (2) supporting a valve (4) closes the opening (6) of the container (3). Contiguous portions (14, 5) of the valve cup (2) and the neck (5) are comprised of plastics materials. The plastics materials of these contiguous portions (14, 5) are fused to form a molten weld seam (15a; 15b) by laser welding thereby sealing the container (3). Preferably, the plastics material of the neck (5) of the container (3) is laser-transparent and the plastics material of the valve cup (2) is laser-absorbing. Advantageously, the plastics material of the valve cup (2) is a semi-crystalline polymer. The invention also provides a method of assembling a dispensing system (1) for a fluid medium. In the method a valve cup (2) is provided that has at least a peripheral portion thereof that is comprised of a plastics material and that includes a valve (4). A container (3) is provided that is suitable for storing the fluid medium under pressure and that comprises a neck (5) comprised of a plastics material. The neck (5) defines an opening (6) and the valve cup (2) is positioned at the opening (5). The internal volume of the container (3) is then charged before the valve cup (2) is pressed into the neck (5|) of the container (3). The plastics materials of the valve cup (2) and the neck (5) are then fused together to form the molten weld seam (15a; 15b) by laser welding thereby sealing the container (3).
