Dual component insert with uniform discharge orifice for fine mist spray
A dual component insert for use with a spray actuator for dispensing a pressurized product. The dual component insert comprises a support insert and an insert disk. The support insert includes a base wall which has a support discharge orifice formed therein and a cylindrical wall is formed integral with and extends from the base wall so as to define an insert cavity. The insert disk has a disk discharge orifice, a diameter of the disk discharge orifice is smaller than a diameter of the support discharge orifice, and the insert disk is received and captively retained within the insert cavity so that the disk discharge orifice is axially aligned with the support discharge orifice. The insert disk is manufactured from a relatively thin durable material which facilitates fabrication of a consistent, accurate, uniform and well defined small diameter discharge orifice which results in dispensing a fine mist spray.
Nozzle arrangement and dispensing head
A nozzle arrangement for the preferably fan-like atomization of a fluid, particularly oil, a dispensing head with such a nozzle arrangement, and the use of such a nozzle arrangement for the particularly fan-like atomization of a fluid, particularly of an oil, is proposed, wherein a channel of the nozzle arrangement has a first channel portion and a second channel portion that connects to the first channel portion in the direction of flow of the fluid, wherein the first channel portion converges in the direction of flow of the fluid, wherein the second channel portion is elongate and/or slot-like in cross section and bordered by two elongate side surfaces and two short leg surfaces, wherein the leg surfaces are inclined relative to the direction of flow and/or a longitudinal axis of the channel, and/or wherein the second channel portion is embodied as a trapezoidal prism and the side surfaces are arranged so as to be at least substantially parallel to one another.
AEROSOL APPLICATOR OF EXPANDING FOAM CHEMICALS
A manually operated applicator for spraying and dispensing expanding foam chemicals from aerosol containers is provided. The applicator dispenses compressed gas in close proximity to the foam as the foam exits the applicator, which results in improved adhesion of the foam to surfaces. The applicator includes a nozzle, an aerosol inlet for connection to an aerosol container, a gas inlet for connection to a source of compressed gas, and a trigger for operation of the applicator. The nozzle includes outlets for dispensing the foam and the compressed gas.
FORMULATION AND DISPENSER SYSTEMS FOR BEVERAGE FOAM TOPPINGS
Formulation and dispenser systems create dairy based toppings for beverages. The dispensers include a container, valve, and an actuator for the valve. The formulations include a liquid product and a propellant. The liquid product includes a certain percentage of milkfat provided, for example, by heavy cream, skim milk, nonfat dry milk, sweeteners, and an emulsifier. The propellant is nitrous oxide or nitrogen.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER COMPRISING THREE POSITIONS
The present invention relates to a closure for a container, the closure comprising three positions. The invention further relates to a kit of parts for assembling such a closure.
The present invention relates to a closure comprising an engine and a shroud, the closure adapted to attach to the opening of a container to define an interior and an outside; wherein the shroud and engine are adapted to engage; wherein the closure can take a first position, a second position and a third position, wherein: a. the shroud moves relative to the engine in a linear fashion and a different minimum force is required to move the closure from the first position to the second position than to move the closure from the second position to the first position; or b. the shroud moves relative to the engine in a linear fashion and a different minimum force is required to move the closure from the second position to the third position than to move the closure from the third position to the second position; or c. both a. and b.; or d. the shroud moves relative to the engine in a rotational fashion and a different minimum torque is required to move the closure from the first position to the second position than to move the closure from the second position to the first position; or e. the shroud moves relative to the engine in a rotational fashion and a different minimum torque is required to move the closure from the second position to the third position than to move the closure from the third position to the second position; or both d. and e.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER HAVING AN ASYMMETRICAL PROTRUSION
The present invention relates to a closure for a container, the closure having an asymmetrical protrusion. The invention further relates to a kit of parts for assembling such a closure.
The present invention relates to a closure for a container, the closure comprising an engine having a first track and a shroud having a second track, wherein the shroud and engine are adapted to engage, wherein the shroud can go from a first position to a second position in a motion in which the first track moves with respect to the second track in a rotational or linear fashion; wherein the engine comprises a first protrusion protruding from the first track with a first protrusion contour profile along the first track; wherein the shroud comprises a second protrusion protruding from the second track with a second protrusion contour profile along the second track; wherein movement of the shroud between the first position and the second position causes an interaction between the first protrusion and the second protrusion; wherein the first protrusion contour profile is asymmetrical or the second protrusion contour profile is asymmetrical, or both are asymmetrical.
DEVICE FOR DISPENSING AN ATOMIZED SPRAY
The disclosure concerns a device for dispensing an atomized spray of a cosmetic composition. The device is capable of individual or commercial use, and provides yaw and pitch actuation of an operational head, along with the atomized spray to deliver the cosmetic composition to the body of a user. Electronics are configured to acquire data from a disposable spray bottle assembly, and approximate remaining volume or spray time according to the data. A linear laser provides guidance to the user for standing in order to receive optimal spray coverage.
