A tamper-evident package, in particular child-proof package, having an outer package and having an inner package, wherein the inner package is at least partially received in the outer package, and wherein the inner package for opening and closing the package is disposed so as to be displaceable in the outer package, and wherein the package as an anti-tamper feature has at least one securing means for impeding or preventing the opening of the package, or the access to the products disposed in the inner package. The at least one securing means is effective between the inner package and the outer package so as to impede or prevent the inner package being displaced in the outer package in order for the package to be opened.

A slide-action hinged-lid pack includes a hinged-lid inner pack configured to hold consumer items. The hinged-lid inner pack includes a front wall, a back wall, a left side wall, a right side wall, a bottom wall and a hinged-lid pivotally connected to an upper end of the back wall for movement between an open position and a closed position, and an outer shell. The hinged-lid inner pack can slide from a first position at which the hinged-lid is in the closed position to a second position at which the hinged-lid is in the open position. The outer shell includes a first stop tab on an inner side of the back wall. The hinged-lid inner pack includes a second stop tab on a tongue extending from the hinged-lid, and a third stop tab on the back wall of the hinged-lid inner pack.

The present invention relates to a childproof container (1) comprising a store (2) and a closure system (7) and defining a compartment (8). The container comprises a safety device (11) with a first coupling portion (12) and a second coupling portion (13) configured to engage each other stably in an internal volume of the container (1) in a closing condition of the closure system (7) to define a locking condition wherein they prevent the closure system (7) from switching from the closing to the opening condition. The closure system (7) comprises an unlocking portion (18) configured to define a through access (19) that allows, in the locking condition of the safety device (11), the insertion of an opening device (20) into the internal volume of the container (1) that allows the disengagement between the first and second coupling portions (12, 13). The container comprises a guide body (24) carried by at least one between the second coupling portion (13) and the closure system (7). The guide body (24), in the closing condition of the closure system (7), is placed in the internal volume of the container (1) and is configured to guide the opening device (20) towards the safety device (11).

A container for consumer goods includes a box for receiving goods, the box having an open end; a lid rotatable between open and closed positions for respectively opening and closing the open end of the box; a hinged connector that connects the lid to the box, where the hinged connector is connected to the lid at a connector-lid hinge line and connected to the box at a connector-box hinge line; and, a resilient mechanism arranged between the box and the connector such that, during lid opening, the resilient mechanism causes relative movement of the box to the connector.

In one aspect an aerosol-generating device comprising a smoking article and a heat source is described. The smoking article includes a smokable material and a cooling agent, the smokable material including a tobacco component. The heat source is disposed to heat, but not burn the smokable material in use. The invention relates to a pack of electrically heated cigarettes, which comprises a container and a lid hinged one another; wherein the container comprises a top chamber which houses a group of cigarettes, a bottom chamber and a dividing wall, which divides the top chamber from the bottom chamber; and wherein a drawer is provided, which is arranged in the area of the bottom chamber and can slide between a closed position, in which the drawer is completely arranged inside the container and an open position, limited by a limit stop device, in which the drawer is partially pulled out of the container; the distance between the dividing wall and the top wall of the lid when the latter closes the top opening of the container, being between 4.5 and 5.5 centimetres; and the distance between the bottom wall of the drawer, when the latter is in the relative closed position, and the dividing wall being between 3.5 centimetres and 4.5 centimetres.

The present invention relates to a collation of packages. The collation of packages comprises a plurality of individual packages, each package comprising a pair of opposing first faces, a pair of opposing second faces, and a pair of opposing end faces. The packages are arranges in rows in which each package is aligned in a face-to face orientation such that a first face of a package faces a first face of an adjacent package within a row, and a second face of a package in a row faces a second face of a package in an adjacent row, and a first face of a package at the end of each row is exposed. The tap is adhered to the packages across their end faces and is positioned so as to couple packages in adjacent rows together, and packages within the same row together. The tape is also adhered to said exposed first faces of the packages at the end of each row so as to extend across the exposed first faces of adjacent packages.

A packaged assembly of a hermetically sealed container and cigarette, and method of forming the assembly. The container is hermetically sealed for airtight conditions for freshness, whereby an interior space is either filled with an inert gas or is evacuated down to a pressure close to 0 atm to remove substantially all air (oxygen) from within. The container may be clear glass to afford good visibility of the cigarette within an interior space thereof. However, a relatively large label may be affixed to the exterior of the container to occlude most of the light from reaching the cigarette.
