An apparatus is described herein related to remote monitoring of perishable trade items in environmentally-controlled storage containers. Relevant changes in the container environment are detected through various sensors-based event detectors. A timer serves to trigger a plurality of distinct alert states, comprising pre-alerts and full alerts, following an event-initiated time threshold expiry. A data repository of generic merchandise data is accessed in order to derive suitable timer pre-sets in relation to time thresholds for alert states. An account configuration engine serves to customize the threshold presets to the specific items stored inside the container.

Moreover, the internal shell is configured to slide, with respect to the external containing body, between a closed configuration where the internal shell is completely inserted inside the external shell, and an open and extracted configuration where the internal shell is partly extracted from the external containing body.

A portable multifunctional smoking utensil holder and kit is disclosed that may include a holder for smoking utensils that includes a lower portion; and an upper portion that is pivotably attached to the lower portion, wherein the lower portion includes a first compartment that is configured to slidably and removably receive a pipe therein for storing the pipe; a second compartment that is configured to store a leafy substance therein; and a third compartment that is open to the second compartment, the third compartment including a first portion and a second portion, the first portion configured to slidably receive the pipe therein, the second portion including a grinding mechanism that is configured to transfer and grind substances from the second compartment into the third compartment when the grinding mechanism is actuated.

A case that may enclose a plurality of individual items, including: a smoking instrument, a cutter, a lighter and a humidifier. The case comprises a lid and a container; the container includes a cavity or cavities configured to contain the items, and the lid includes a recess or recesses configured to contain the items. The lid may be a closable cover, covering the container's opening and may fit snugly over any items within the container. Gasketing material may be included to further seal the container opening. Additionally, the humidifier may be connected to the cavity containing the smoking instrument/s. Moreover, the case may include a lighter cover and a hole in which a smoking instrument is inserted for cutting. Because the cutter, lighter, and humidifier may be integrated into the case, the case may allow a user to: cut, light, store, transport, and humidifywithout worrying about losing individual items.

A thin-walled polypropylene product display tube. The thin-walled polypropylene product display tube includes a tubular member having a closed end, an open end, an inner diameter and, between the closed end and the open end, a first outer diameter, the open end terminating in a flared portion having a second outer diameter, the tubular member having a wall thickness sufficient to yield a level of haze equal to or less than 8%. A process for forming a thin-walled polypropylene product display tube is also provided.
