Bristle worm trap for use in aquariums
A bristle worm trap for catching bristle worms in an aquarium, includes a trap body, including a trap enclosure, a cap, a bait container, worm access points, each optionally with attached inner and outer access lines that can be funnels or tubes; and an elongated handle used for positioning the bristle worm trap in the aquarium; such that bristle worms crawl through the outer access line, the worm access point, and the inner access line, guided by a scent from a bait positioned in the bait container, and become trapped in the trap enclosure.
SUBMERSIBLE DRONE DEVICES AND SYSTEMS
In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, a crustacean trap can include a cage configured to trap one or more crustaceans, and a propulsion system connected to the cage and configured to provide propulsion to the cage. In certain embodiments, the trap can include a controller configured to control the propulsion system to autonomously pilot the trap.

Imaging for Determination of Crustacean Physical Attributes
The present disclosure relates to imaging for determination of crustacean physical attributes. An image of a shell of a live crustacean is captured and processed to determine a physical attribute of the live crustacean. In an embodiment a characteristic of a pattern indicative of moult stage of the live crustacean is detected, from the captured image. Multiple images may be used in some embodiments, including images of different types such as visible spectrum images, infrared spectrum images, and/or ultraviolet spectrum images.

APPARATUS FOR HARVESTING LIONFISH
Embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus for capturing lionfish near the ocean floor. The present invention uses two jaws connected at the center by an axle such that the jaws open outward on contact with the seabed to form a ring supporting a loose netting. Embodiments of the present invention further include a deflector located on each jaw that facilitates opening of the jaws when the lionfish capture device contacts the ocean floor. A fish attraction device, or devices, located at substantially the center of the lionfish capture device is capable of attracting lionfish to an area defined by the ring formed by the jaws. Hauling of the capture device causes the jaws to close around and secure the fish that are within its perimeter.

A COUPLER FOR COUPLING A CRAB POT WITH ANOTHER CRAB POT, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for coupling a crab pot with another crab pot includes a first receiver mountable to a first crab pot, a second receiver mountable to a second crab pot, and a coupler operable to engage the first receiver and the second receiver to couple the first crab pot with the second crab pot. The first and second receivers, each include a hole. The coupler includes a first holding component operable to hold the first receiver when the first holding component is inserted into the hole of the first receiver, and a second holding component operable to hold the second receiver when the second holding component is inserted into the hole of the second receiver. The coupler also includes an appendage that, while the coupler couples the crab pots, allows a deckhand to grab or stand on to help him/her remain on the pots while he/she climbs on over and/or around the pots.
