REINFORCED POLYBAG WITH MESH WINDOW AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A reinforced polybag and methods of manufacturing the same are presented. A method of making a reinforced polybag involves: providing a plurality of walls; providing a hole in a wall of the plurality of walls such that a remaining portion of the wall separates the hole in the wall form a side edge of at least one side edge of the wall; forming the polybag out of the plurality of walls by attaching each wall in the plurality of walls along the at least one side edge of that wall to at least one adjoining wall; providing a synthetic resin fiber mesh cover to cover the hole in the wall; and attaching a peripheral portion of the synthetic resin fiber mesh cover the remaining portion to cover the hole in the wall. Each wall in the plurality of walls is made of a synthetic resin film.
BAG SUITABLE FOR PACKAGING HORTICULTURAL PRODUCTS AND A METHOD AND MEANS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
A breathable bag (1) especially suitable for packaging horticultural products (2) comprising a mesh casing (3), which is capable of housing the products to be packaged and at least one first band (5) of flexible material applied on the outside of and joined to the casing by affixed areas (6, 7) affixed to said casing, the first band covering a region (8) of the casing that has a hole (9), the practical access to the hole (9) being prevented by the affixed joining areas (6, 7) between the first band (5) and the casing (3), and the first band (5) being equipped with at least one tear line (10) that determines in the first band (5) a removable portion (5c) from the casing (3) that is sufficient to leave uncovered or to open a practical access to said opening (9).
Carton
A carton for holding at least one article includes a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels includes a bottom panel, a front panel, a back panel, at least one side panel, and a top panel. The carton further includes a tray formed from the bottom panel, the front panel, the back panel, and the at least one side panel, and the tray is for at least partially receiving the at least one article. The carton further includes a lid formed from the at least one top panel, the lid includes at least one article engaging feature for engaging the at least one article.
Non-uniformly perforated plastic bag
Provided is a perforated plastic bag wherein the volume of said bag is 100 liters or more; wherein the average perforation diameter is 500 micrometers or less; wherein said plastic bag comprises a lower zone and a top zone, wherein the perforation density of said lower zone is greater than the perforation density of said top zone. Also provided is a method of using such a plastic bag.
OPTIMIZED SYSTEM, BOX AND BAG FOR PACKING, SHIPPING, STORING AND DISPLAYING PRODUCE
Produce boxes and bags for shipping produce, e.g., bananas, utilize ventilation structures that allow for ventilation therethrough. A method of assembling produce boxes provides for cutouts that serve as ventilation structures in the boxes. When the produce boxes are stacked such as on a shipping pallet, the ventilation structures allow for ventilation of through the stacked boxes. Produce may be packed in a bag, which is closed with a rip cord and inserted into a produce box. The rip cord may be accessed when the box is in a stack such as on a shipping pallet, such that the rip cord may be pulled thereby opening the bag, without removing the box from the stack.
Container for Storing, Displaying, and Serving Produce
A container for storing, displaying, and serving fresh produce that extends the shelf life without refrigeration. The container includes a bottom tray, a slotted tray, a vertical extending wall, a cover, and a light source. The slotted tray sits above and nests within the bottom tray. The vertical wall removably extends from the bottom tray to form a compartment defined by the vertical wall and the bottom and slotted trays for fresh produce. The cover sits on the vertical wall enclosing the compartment. The light source shines light into the compartment.
