Molded container assembly

A molded container assembly includes a pallet, a molded container, and a plurality of connection systems. The pallet supports the molded container thereon and includes stacking alignment structure for stacking the pallet on another molded container assembly. The molded container includes a tank portion, several leg supports, several buttresses, and several horizontally extending ribs. The tank portion includes several curved sidewalls and a fill opening. The leg supports include lower and upper sections that extend above the fill opening for spacing a pallet stacked on top of the molded container above the fill opening. The upper sections include pallet engaging structure for engaging pallets of at least two different types. The horizontally extending ribs minimize outward deflection due to hydrostatic loading and/or pressurization. The connection systems include washers that allow for shrinkage and expansion between the molded container and the pallet in a number of directions.

CONTOURED SHIPPING CRADLE

A system and method for transporting building materials is provided. The system generally comprises end units and interior units having bolster assemblies and cradles. The bolster assembly preferably comprises a beam, D-rings, and a plurality of attachment plates configured to allow for the attachment of a cradle having a shape configured to securely fit the shape of a building material. Two or more end units of the system may be secured to a transport vehicle, such as a railcar, and building materials may be placed within the cradles, thus stabilizing the building materials and protecting them from damage. Two or more interior units may then be used to create layers of building materials before being topped with two or more end units. A securing member may be used to fasten the end units and interior units to one another, which secures the one or more layers of building materials to the transport vehicle in a way that will prevent shifting of the building materials during transport.

TRANSPORT SHIPPING CONTAINER FOR PERSONAL WATERCRAFT

A shipping container for a personal watercraft, in which a first and second pair of roller guides attach to a pallet for removably receiving a pair of trusses that support a personal watercraft thereon, the trusses movable between a first position for loading or unloading the personal watercraft and a second position for storing and transporting of the personal watercraft at an oblique angle. A method of containing a personal watercraft in a shipping container is disclosed.

A transport container configured for use with a dump truck tractor trailer. The container comprises: a) a pivotable lid configured to cover and expose an open top of the container, the open top allowing addition of contents to the container; b) a pivotable end gate configured to cover and expose an open back end of the container, the open back end allowing dumping of contents of the container; and c) at least one baffle inside the container, the baffle pivotably connected to opposing sidewalls of the container and forming a substantially vertical barrier preventing substantial movement of contents of the container past the baffle during dumping and transport when locked in a substantially vertical position by an operator-controlled retention mechanism operatively connected between the baffle and at least one of the opposing sidewalls of the container.

Transport device for a milling unit, transport vehicle, and method for transporting a milling unit

The present invention relates to a milling unit, in particular to a milling unit of a road milling machine, a transport vehicle with a transport device and a vehicle, as well as a method for transporting a milling unit, in particular using a transport vehicle according to the present invention.

Roller platform transport system

A roller platform apparatus includes a rigid plate, a set of bearings mounted on the rigid plate, and a set of one or more bars attached to the rigid plate. The set of bars is configured to restrict movement of a load into a space between the set of bearings and lower than the height of the one of more bars, and the height of the one or more bars is lower than the height of the first set of bearings and higher than the rigid plate. At least one advantage in this approach is that an equipment rack can be transported without the use of casters that are permanently attached to the equipment rack.
