The container is characterised in that it includes at least one valve (3a, 3b) for the injection and/or extraction of fluid, and in that a portion of said internal bag (4) made of flexible material is attached to the seating (10) of the inlet duct (8) of said valve (3a, 3b) and that a portion of the protective wrapping (5) for said internal bag (4) is held against said seating (10) by the cover (11).
STITCHLESS BULK BAG WITH HEAT FUSED SEAMS AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION
A stitchless highly oriented polypropylene fabric bulk bag of the type that can hold 500 to 5000 pounds (226.7 to 2268 kilograms) of bulk material includes a highly oriented polypropylene fabric top, body and bottom, with a heat fused joint providing an air tight connection between the top and body, and another air tight heat fused joint connecting the body and bottom. A fill spout and discharge tube may also be provided with an air tight heat fused joint connecting the fill spout to the top and another air tight heat fused joint connecting the discharge spout to the bottom. Heat sealing machinery include heat seal bar assemblies that can self-align during heat-sealing to apply even pressure to all areas being heat sealed. A heating element is of single piece construction and can include end coupler portions as part of the single piece construction. Carrier plates used in a heat-sealing assembly line guide parts placement, provide quality checks for parts placement, and tooling set-up for machinery.
Flexible large container with a seam-free useful space
A flexible large container for transporting and storing a filling product. The container has a usable space formed by top, bottom, and side walls that are constructed from a plurality of fabric sheets. The portions of the fabric sheets that enclose the usable space are welded together to provide a stitchless usable space. Upper portions of the sidewalls extend upward beyond the usable space to form a hem. Lift loops that enable the large container to be lifted by mechanical means are sewn onto the hem. Thus, the usable space remains stitchless, i.e., without stitch holes, yet the lift loops are stitched to the hem.
BULK MATERIAL RECEIVING, CONVEYING, STORING, AND DISPENSING
According to one aspect of the disclosure, a bulk material handling method includes receiving bulk material on a first level of a system at receiving stations equipped with dust control filtration equipment, pneumatically conveying the bulk material up to a third level into bulk material storage hoppers, storing the bulk material, dispensing the stored bulk material to a bulk material transporter on the first level, including dosing the stored bulk material to an interior of a bulk material dosing hopper to create a bulk material dose, docking the dosing hopper with the transporter via a docking apparatus, and releasing the dose into the interior of the transporter, through a reduced pressure region in an internal volume of the docking apparatus. Other disclosed aspects include a related system, subsystems, and apparatuses.
DISPENSING MANDREL
The invention relates to a dispensing mandrel (1) for dispensing material from a flexible bulk goods container, the dispensing mandrel (1) comprising a hollow body (2) which has an upper and a lower opening surface. A tip adjoins the upper end of the hollow body (2), leaving the upper opening of the hollow body (2) at least partially free. The tip is formed by at least three struts (3) which are planar, radially oriented elements which each abut the inner face (16) of the hollow body (2) with the lower outer edge (15) thereof, and meet at the upper end of the dispensing mandrel (1), thereby forming a tip. At least one transverse strut (12), which abuts against the hollow body (2) with the lower edge (13) thereof, projects from each strut (3).
BAG MATERIAL AND CRUSHED STONE PLACEMENT METHOD USING BAG MATERIAL
A bag material has a tubular shape and can be folded back at an intermediate position in a longitudinal direction. Crushed stones can be stored in a folded part of the back material. An opening on one side of the bag material can be moved to a position close to an opening on the other side of the bag material. A one-side closing rope that closes the opening on the one side of the bag material is provided near this opening. An other-side closing rope that closes the opening on the other side of the bag material is provided near this opening. The other of the one-side closing rope and the other-side closing ropes can be released with the opening closed by one closing rope.
FLEXIBLE INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINER WITH COLLECTION SKIRT
A collection assembly (10, 10a) for flowable materials includes a central, flexible bag (12, 12a) with a collection skirt (14, 14a) secured to the bag (12, 12a) and extending outwardly from the open top (20, 20a) of the bag (12, 12a). In use, the assembly (10, 10a) is placed at a collection site with the bag (12, 12a) in a collapsed condition and the skirt (14, 14a) is deployed about the bag (12, 12a). Material (36) is then placed on the assembly (10, 10a) over the open top (20, 20a) and, as necessary, the skirt (14, 14a). The skirt is then elevated using marginal gathering apparatus (16, 16a), thereby causing the material (36) to flow into the bag (12, 12a). The skirt (14, 14a) may then be gathered and closed, forming a duffel closure for the assembly (10, 10a).
EASY-EMPTY FLEXIBLE INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINER DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR USE WITH BULK GARDEN PRODUCTS
A container includes a robust semi-rigid main bag, a tarpaulin top section, and ties on the main bag. The main bag has a base and side panels for containing bulk garden products. The top section engages an upper portion of the main bag and has an opening. When open, it enables access into the main bag. When selectively closed, the top section protects the bulk garden products against outside elements. The ties can selectively tie down the top section and enable clear and ready access into the main bag containing the bulk garden products. Ties located about midway down the main bag, after it has been emptied of about half the bulk garden products, can also selectively tie down the upper portion for continued clear and ready access to any bulk garden products that then remain in the main bag.
FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
Provided is a flexible container that can be easily opened. Provided is a flexible container for holding contents that includes an outer bag, an inner bag, a first binding member, and a lid. The outer bag includes a bottom surface portion in which a lower opening is formed. The inner bag is a tubular inner bag that is housed in the outer bag, configured to be filled with contents, and includes a discharge port portion. The discharge port portion forms a discharge path for discharging the contents and extends to a lower side of the bottom surface portion via the lower opening. The first binding member is tied around the discharge port portion to close the discharge path. The lid is attached to an outer side of the bottom surface portion to close the lower opening and cover the discharge port portion. The discharge port portion is narrowed to close the discharge path. The first binding member is tied around the discharge port portion to maintain a state in which the discharge port portion is narrowed. The lid is attached to the outer side of the bottom surface portion to cover the discharge port portion tied off with the first binding member.
End-Closure for a Flexible Tank
A flexible tank has one or more inner layers and one or more outer layers enclosing the inner layers. It has an improved structure to prevent leakage and rupture when making a long multi-modal shipment of large quantities of a liquid, including when the flexible tank is not supported by the end or side walls of a shipping container.
