CHEMICAL STORAGE SYSTEM
20200231378 · 2020-07-23 ·

Embodiments of the present invention include systems for storing large quantities of chemicals at a remote site. A controlled blending system balances the inflow of dry material and liquids into the blender based on a predetermined solid/fluid ratio. The blending system further balances the inflow and outflow of material from the blender.

A collapsible storage silo having an expanded configuration includes: (a) a shell for circumscribing storage space and comprising a plurality of concentrically nested tubular members that are collapsible; (b) a lift system operable to slidably expand the plurality of concentrically nested tubular members to place the silo in its expanded configuration; and (c) a mast operable to support the lift system. The mast is pivotable between horizontal and vertical positions relative to a frame. A winch attaches to the mast and a cable extends between the winch and an outermost tubular member to expand the silo such that inwardly and outwardly projecting lips of nested members engage each other and a conical hopper engages an innermost tubular member. A flexible inner liner attaches between an outermost tubular member and the hopper. A collapsible roof has a flexible roof membrane and a plurality of radially extending foldable rib members.

MODULAR STORAGE TANK WITH SECONDARY CONTAINMENT

A modular storage tank has a secondary containment receptacle defined by a plurality of rigid floor panels which are joined to one another to form a continuous floor and a plurality of rigid, upright wall panels joined to one another to form a continuous perimeter wall extending upwardly from the continuous floor, and a primary containment receptacle defined by a flexible line membrane within the secondary containment receptacle. The wall panels are joined to one another using a gasket and threaded fasteners such that the wall panels are readily separable from one another for reuse at different site after disassembly. The floor panels are joined to one another and to the perimeter wall by welded seams.

CONICAL RISERS INTERCONNECTED BY RADIALLY AND CIRCUMFERENTIALLY DEFLECTING LATCHES
20240101343 · 2024-03-28 · ·

Risers for use in a riser assembly to provide access to below-grade chambers or vaults are provided. Risers may include an angled wall connecting a first end and a second end spaced apart along a central lengthwise axis. In an embodiment, the riser may include a plurality of latches spaced around the first end and the second end with radially extending lips and canted terminal end surfaces. A plurality of receivers may be spaced between the first plurality of latches on the first end and the second end. Alternatively, plurality of latches may include a first and second latch body extending to a terminal end that comprises a first circumferentially extending lip and a first canted terminal end surface. Risers may be configured to connect to other risers to form a riser assembly.

Sectional panel tank

A sectional panel tank comprises one or more side wads that are joined together in forming the sectional panel tank. One of the side wall comprises a first unit panel having a first extension at a first edge of the first unit panel and a second unit panel having a second extension at a second edge of the second unit panel. By combing the second extension to the second extension, the second unit panel is joined to the first unit panel for providing a continuous surface of the side wall. No gasket is needed between the first extension and the second extension. A method of making the sectional panel tank is also disclosed. A method of making prefabricated unit panels with lining sheets is further disclosed for the sectional panel tank.

Portable vertical fluid storage tank

A vertical fluid storage tank including a body extending from a first end to a second end and including a substantially oval-shaped cross-section, a top wall connected to the first end of the body, a bottom wall connected to the second end of the body, at least one access opening positioned on the top wall configured for access to an interior cavity of the body, and at least one discharge valve connected to the body. The storage tank is configured to be arranged in at least two positions. The at least two positions include a first position in which the storage tank is arranged parallel to a surface, and a second position in which the storage tank is arranged perpendicular to the surface. A walkway may be positioned in the interior cavity of the body.

Multi-ring plastic storage tanks and risers

A plastic article useful as a riser for a septic tank or as a water tank article is comprised of a multiplicity of plastic rings which are attached vertically to each other at joints. Ring pairs which alternately have inward and outward sloping conical walls nest within each other for shipment or storage. A lid is shaped for use with the topmost ring to cover the opening irrespective of which conical shape the ring has.

Secondary containment unit and methods

In an exemplary embodiment, a modular secondary containment unit is adapted to surround an above-ground fluid storage tank and includes a plurality of corner assemblies. Two or more components of each of the corner assemblies are composed of one or more reinforced resin composite materials. In several exemplary embodiments, the modular secondary containment units and the above-ground fluid storage tanks are used in oil and gas exploration and production operations. In an exemplary embodiment, an assembly for a modular secondary containment unit includes a track segment including first and second channels, a wall segment mounted on the track segment and extending within the first channel of the track segment, and a brace engaged with the wall segment and extending within the second channel of the track segment. In an exemplary embodiment, a method of constructing a modular secondary containment unit is provided.

Sump pit having disassemblable upper and lower tank portions

A collection tank for mounting under a floor of a building for collecting water from an area under the floor comprises upper and lower tank portions removably securable by rotatable mating of tabs in cavities. Additionally, a pump platform of the tank is formed by a plurality of ridges which form therebetween a channel so that the water is collectable in the tank between the ridges. Furthermore, the upper and lower tank portions are separable, and a width of the top of the upper tank portion is smaller than a width of the open top of the lower tank portion such that the upper tank portion can be received in the lower tank portion in an inverted orientation, in which the collection tank is inoperable for collecting the water, so as to decrease a height of the collection tank.
