Expandable-Volume Liner for a Collapsible Liquid Holding Tank
An expandable-volume liner is usable with a collapsible liquid holding tank frame consisting of top and bottom rails spaced apart by vertical struts. The expandable-volume liner has pliant impervious side walls, a pliant impervious floor panel and at least one pliant impervious collapsible bag extending outwardly from the liner. Each bag is optionally extendable between its respective surrounding top and bottom rails and adjacent struts to conform the tank to the differing footprints presented by various sites and the volume of liquid necessary to accomplish the task at hand. The liners are especially suited to firefighting applications and can be used in conjunction with existing frames built for non-expandable volume liners.
Containment system
A containment system comprising a flexible bladder having at least one opening through which a liquid or other fluid or material can be pumped or transferred into or out of the bladder. The bladder has a contracted and an expanded or semi-expanded state. A support structure surrounds the side surfaces of the bladder and provides lateral support to the bladder when the bladder is in an expanded or semi-expanded state. The support structure comprises a plurality of panels that are seperably connected to one another to form an enclosed walled support structure. The at least one opening in the bladder is operatively connected to a point exterior to the support structure to permit the bladder to be filled or evacuated from a position exterior to the support structure.
FLEXIBLE POND LINER
A pond system includes a single-piece drop-in flexible liner sized and shaped to partially suspend within a rigid sidewall, creating a cavity that may function as a liquid reservoir. The single-piece drop-in flexible liner includes a base portion surrounded by a sidewall portion configured to rest adjacent to an interior-facing surface of the rigid sidewall. The single-piece drop-in flexible liner further includes multiple tensioning tabs each with a fixed end attached to the base portion and a free end opposite the fixed end. Each of the multiple tensioning tabs is configured to extend under the rigid sidewall and radially outward from the base portion. The pond system further includes a means for securing the free end of each of the multiple tensioning tabs at a location external to the perimeter enclosed by the rigid sidewall.
BULK HANDLING
A method of bulk handling includes providing a sealed and partially full bulk container; suspending the bulk container within a frame; and rotating the frame about an axis in order to rotate the bulk container through multiple revolutions of 360 degrees. During rotation of the frame, an uppermost end of the frame or bulk container becomes lowermost after a first 180 degrees of rotation and is returned to an uppermost position after a further 180 degrees of rotation.
DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A discharge apparatus for use with a bulk container of the kind having an outlet through which product is to be dispensed. The apparatus has an inlet end, an outlet end and a wall extending between said inlet end and said outlet end. The apparatus is configured for directing a flow of product from an outlet of a bulk container, and is further configured to permit relative movement between said inlet end and said outlet end between a retracted position and an extended position. The outlet end may take the form of a plate for supporting the lower end of the bulk container. The plate may be vibrated for assisting discharge of product from the bulk container.
Silosack container
A collapsible container, a method of manufacturing, and a method of using the same is provided herein. In some embodiments, the collapsible container is octagonal, generally square, or generally rectangular while comprising eight side panels have receiving pockets for receiving stiffening panels. The collapsible container may include a third layer sewn to the inside of the walls such that content loaded into the third layer is directed to a spout at the bottom of the third layer for convenient discharge of contents. The eight side panels are designed such that the container can be collapsed for easy transport but also stably supports and facilitates discharge of contents from the third layer when the container is set up.
Discharge apparatus
A discharge device for use with a bulk container of the kind having an outlet through which product is to be dispensed. The device has an inlet end, an outlet end and a wall extending between said inlet end and said outlet end. The device is configured for directing a flow of product from an outlet of a bulk container, and is further configured to permit relative movement between said inlet end and said outlet end between a retracted position and an extended position. The outlet end may take the form of a plate for supporting the lower end of the bulk container. The plate may be vibrated for assisting discharge of product from the bulk container.
Method for manufacturing a large-capacity flexible container, flexible container obtained, and corresponding packaging
A method for manufacturing a flexible container including a body, a base including an emptying spout and a cover including a filling spout, includes: cutting, from a sheet of flexible material, four main panels of the body and the base and four cover panels, each main panel having a square or rectangular shape having four sides, the bottom side being extended by an approximately trapezoidal extension, whose end towards the bottom is extended by a tab, the extension and tab forming the base and emptying spout, each cover panel having a substantially trapezoidal shape with a base towards the bottom and whose end towards the top is extended by a tongue forming the filling spout; forming a fold in each main panel along the top side; fixing the fold to form at least one loop per main panel; assembling and securing together the four main panels and four cover panels.
FOLDABLE TANK WITH EXTENDED CAPACITY
A foldable water tank comprises a foldable receptacle including an open receptacle portion and a closed receptacle portion, the open receptacle portion communicating with the closed receptacle portion such that water from the open receptacle flows to the closed receptacle, the open receptacle portion including side walls; a folding frame operably associated with the side walls to support the sidewalls in an upright position; and the closed receptacle portion extending outwardly from the frame.
FOLDAWAY BRACKET FLEXIBLE LIQUID STORAGE TANK
The present invention relates to a foldaway bracket flexible liquid storage tank, comprising a bracket, a flexible storage tank disposed in the middle of the bracket, wherein the bracket further comprising a pedestal, wherein the pedestal further comprising a upper substrate and a lower substrate, wherein a plurality of water pipes are disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, wherein the said water pipes are connected with catch basin; and wherein butterfly valves are disposed in the inlet end and outlet end of the water pipes, wherein a foldaway apparatus is disposed on the said upper substrate.
