Dosing Cap with Adjustable Volume
The present disclosure is directed to a dosing cap (10). In an embodiment, the dosing cap (10) includes (A) a collar member (12). The collar member (12) has an annular skirt (18) depending from a base (16)(B). An inner surface of the skirt has a securing member for securing the collar member to a neck (21) of a container (20). The base (B) has (i) a top surface (30) and a bottom surface (32), (ii) a valve seat (34) is present on the top surface of the base. The valve seat has a center channel (36), and a radial channel (38), the channels extend through the base. The dosing cap includes (C) a plug member (40). The plug member is composed of a polymeric material. The plug member has the following components in inter-connected relationship: a head (42), a body (44), a leg (46), an ankle (48), and a flexible foot (50). The leg extends through the center channel, such that the head opposes the valve seat on the top surface of the base and the foot opposes the bottom surface of the base. The dosing cap further includes (D) a cap member (112) having an annular sidewall (118) extending from a dispensing element (114). An inner surface of the annular sidewall has an attachment member adjustably attached to a reciprocal attachment member on an outer surface of skirt. The dosing cap includes (E) a metering chamber (120). The metering chamber is formed by an enclosed volume between the cap member and the base. The dispensing element (F) permits flow of a fluid from the metering chamber.
Lid For Container
An insulating container may include an opening, which can be sealed by a closure. The closure may have an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of “flip” type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap.
Container
A container includes a container body; and a cap that locks onto the container body, the container body and the cap being locked by putting the cap on the container body. The cap includes a cap body, a cover cap being held on the cap body so as to be displaceable and rotatable, and an urging portion that upwardly urges the cover cap. When a rotational force is applied to the cover cap being downwardly pressed, the cap body is displaced in conjunction with the cover cap, so that locking between the cap body and the container body is released, and in a state where the cover cap is not downwardly pressed, the cap body is not displaced in conjunction with the cover cap even when a rotational force is applied to the cover cap, so that locking between the cap body and the container body is not released.
Tumbler with Maneuverable Straw
A tumbler with maneuverable straw is an apparatus that facilitates the consumption of small edible additives of a beverage. The apparatus includes a straw assembly, a lid, and a tumbler. The straw assembly includes a mouthpiece, a straw, and a main channel. The straw assembly delivers the beverage and small edible additives contained within the tumbler to the mouth of the user. The mouthpiece serves as a mount for the lips of the user and allows the user to maneuver the straw within the tumbler. The lid covers an open end of the tumbler and mounts the straw assembly onto the tumbler. The lid seals the open end of the tumbler, preventing any leakage, and receives the straw assembly. The tumbler contains a beverage and any small edible additives such as tapioca balls. The apparatus further includes a friction inducing base that protects a closed end of the tumbler.
LIDDED CONTAINER
The present application generally relates to devices and methods for transporting items, and it more specifically relates to insulated carriers for use in carrying temperature-controlled items such as beverages and food.
Tall Shot Glass Shaker Combination
A beverage product has a shot glass having an upper rim with an outside diameter, a quantity of a beverage in the shot glass, a substantially circular peel-off sealing element adhered by adhesive to the upper rim of the shot glass, retaining the beverage in the shot glass, and a shaker lid having a matrix of openings for dispensing salt, pepper or other material, the shaker lid assembled over the upper rim of the shot glass. A user purchasing the product removes the shaker lid, peels off the substantially circular peel-off sealing element, consumes the beverage, places salt, pepper or other material in the emptied shot glass and reattaches the shaker lid, rendering the combination as a salt or pepper shaker.
LOCKABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER CLOSURE
A lid for use with a beverage container. The lid has a body with a drink opening, a drink opening stopper operable to transition between a closed position and an opened position, and a lock actuator manually rotatable between a locking position preventing the drink opening stopper from transitioning from the closed position to the opened position when the lock actuator is in the locking position and an unlocking position permitting the drink opening stopper to transition from the closed position to the opened position when the lock actuator is in the unlocking position.
Method of making packaging container for bulk solids
The present invention provides a packaging container for bulk solids. The container comprises a container body having a container wall extending from a container bottom to a container opening in a height direction of the container. The container wall and the container bottom delimit an inner space in the container, and a first peelable or tearable sealing membrane being attached to an inner surface of the container wall forms a roof over a first inner compartment in the inner space. A second peelable or tearable sealing membrane is applied between the first peelable or tearable sealing membrane and an edge of the container opening and is attached to the inner surface of the container wall. The first peelable or tearable sealing membrane forms a floor of a second inner compartment in the inner space and the second peelable or tearable sealing membrane forms a roof over the second inner compartment.
TWO-PART DISPENSING CLOSURE SYSTEM WITH INTERNAL SEAL AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A dispensing closure system includes an upper closure portion and a lower closure portion including an axial flow conduit and a vent conduit. The upper closure portion is axially movable relative to lower closure portion between shipping and dispensing positions. A seal is disposed on the lower closure portion over the flow and vent conduits. A peripheral spacing strip is removably secured to the upper closure portion and engages with either the lower closure or the outside of the container to prevent movement. A piercing probe includes piercing elements in alignment with the flow and vent conduits for piercing the seal. In the shipping position, the piercing elements are spaced from the seal. However, when the spacing strip is removed and the upper closure portion is axially moved to the dispensing position, the piercing elements pierce the seal to open the flow conduit and the vent conduit.
Non-spill drinking container lid device
A non-spill drinking container lid device comprising a collar, a sealing element, and a twist fastener that may be assembled and then attached as a lid device to a drinking container. When a person wants to drink from the container, suction by the mouth and compression by a person's lip causes the sealing element to separate from the collar and allow liquid to flow. The twist fastener provides for adding contents to the container without removing the sealing element or collar.
