CHILD-RESISTANT LID FOR A CONTAINER
At least one example embodiment relates to a lid for a container including a base defining an opening and a top configured to engage a portion of the base. The base includes a support wall, a first sidewall, and a second sidewall. The first sidewall and the second sidewall extend from respective ends of the support wall such that the support wall, the first sidewall, and the second sidewall define a gap configured to receive at least a portion of the container. The top includes a cover, a hinge coupled between the cover and the base, and a peripheral wall extending from an interior portion of the cover. The cover is moveable between an open position providing access to the opening and a closed position sealing the opening.
REFILLABLE STORAGE CONTAINER
A refillable storage container such as for use with food products such as coffee, flour, sugar, spices, and the like, includes a container body, and upper and lower closure members. Access to the container contents is easily effected by removal of the upper closure member. To replenish the contents, the container can be inverted, with the upper closure member in place, and the lower closure member removed to permit new contents to be added to the container. The container is thereafter returned to its upright orientation, with older contents thus positioned toward the upper part of the container for use before the fresher contents are used from the lower part of the container.
FOOD JAR
A food jar is described that may be used to store and transport food items. The food jar includes a container. The container defines an interior to store a food product. A stopper is sized to close an opening of the container. A base removably engages to a lower portion of the container.
TRANSFORMABLE STORAGE CONTAINER
A transformable storage container may comprise: an end wall; a support frame operatively coupled to the end wall by a plurality of sides extending between the end wall and the support frame, the support frame defining an opening to an interior cavity defined by the end wall, the plurality of sides, and the support frame, the support frame further comprising: a first channel substantially parallel to the end wall; and a second channel substantially perpendicular and conjoined to the first channel, the first channel and the second channel forming a channel interface therebetween; and an end door movably coupled to the support frame by the first channel and the second channel, the end door comprising a protrusion proximate a perimeter of the end door, the protrusion being moveable between the first and second channels and rotatable within the channel interface.
VESSEL LID AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
A lid assembly is connected to a vessel to provide a leak proof seal to prevent leakage of liquid from the vessel. The lid assembly includes a base and a removably connectable lid. The base has an open first end, an open second end and a sidewall. The sidewall defines a passageway which extends between the first and second end of the base. A plurality of projections are provided on an internal surface of the sidewall. The base is removably connected to the vessel. The removably connectable lid of the lid assembly has a stopper configured to be inserted into the open second end of the base. The stopper is provided with a plurality of external projections corresponding to the plurality of projections of the base such that the base and lid are moved between a locked and unlocked position using approximate thirty degree (30?) turns, respectively.
Closure Unit for a Container, Combination of Such a Closure Unit and a Container and Method for Closing a Container
Closure unit for a container, comprising a substantially flat cover element, for closing off the aperture in the container which cover element is provided with a tension element, for creating a pressure force that presses the cover element to a rim that surrounds the aperture of the container. The invention also prides a closure unit and a container as well as to methods for closing and opening a container with such a closure unit.
Beverage container closure
A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user by the user pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER CLOSURE WITH VENTING
A beverage container closure or lid adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be opened by pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the button is released. Thus, the user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container. The beverage container closure includes an actuating lever configured to press the button when a user applies a force to the lever. By utilizing the mechanical advantage provided by the lever, a user is able to selectively open and close the stopper using a relatively low amount of force.
Advanced mug cap apparatus
A mug cap apparatus for brew-through comprising a cylindrical body having a primary hallow opening in the center and at least one cylindrical body attaching tab formed around the cylindrical body; the cylindrical body attaching tab formed a recess; a secondary opening positioned in the cylindrical body and within the recess; a first lid having a blade edge for ease of opening and a sealer that seals the secondary opening when the first lid is in closed configuration; the first lid further comprises at least one attachment point; a second lid having at least one second lid attaching tab wherein the second lid attaching tab comprises at least one first attachment point to the first lid and at least one second attachment point to the cylindrical body attaching tab; where the first attachment point and the second attachment point are positioned in linear space apart along the edge of the cylindrical body attaching tab; wherein the first attachment point is positioned in proximity to the center of the hallow opening and the second attachment point is positioned in proximity to the edge of the hallow opening; wherein the second lid further comprises a sealer that seals the primary hallow opening when in closed configuration; wherein in lifting the first lid in open configuration will result in lifting the second lid.
TAMPER-EVIDENT CLOSURE SYSTEM WITH METALLIC CONTAINER AND PLASTIC CLOSURE
A closure system can be attached to existing paint pails, cans, and other, similar metallic containers. It includes a crimped insert ring attaching to the container and a primary lid, preferably having tamper-evident features. A secondary lid is seated on and seals to the primary lid, with the secondary lid possibly being made partially or completely from plastics, thereby facilitating its ability to reseal the paint container by way of a plug seal. The insert, primary lid, and secondary lid may have one or more annular grooves or ridges to facilitate their attachment to one another.
