Lid of a container
The invention relates to the lid (100) of a container, in particular a beverage can having at least one pour opening (103) penetrating the lid panel (101) which is reclosable by at least one closure member (120), where the at least one closure member (120) can be moved by an actuating element (103) from a closed position, in which the at least one pour opening (103) is closed, to an open position, in which the pour opening (103) is at least partially exposed, at least one planar seal element (130) is arranged between the lid panel (101) and the closure member (120), and at least one sealing area is provided at the closure member (120) which when closing the pour opening (103) coacts with the at least one planar seal element (130), and where the at least one sealing area is formed as a seal ridge (121).
Thermoformed container with lid
A container assembly includes a thermoformed tub of relatively thin plastic material having a peripheral wall extending to an upper edge and defining a product containing space. A lower rim is connected to the upper edge of the tub, the lower rim defining an opening giving access to the product containing space and being formed of a relatively thicker plastic material. An upper rim is connectable to the lower rim and a lid is provided for selectively closing the opening. By the use of a thin walled thermoformed tub, the amount of material required for forming the body of the container is limited. Furthermore, the lower rim of relatively thicker plastic material provides the required support to the relatively thin material of the peripheral wall, allowing effective connection to the upper rim.
LOCKABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER CLOSURE
A lid for use with a beverage container. The lid has a body with a drink opening, a drink opening stopper operable to transition between a closed position and an opened position, and a lock actuator manually rotatable between a locking position preventing the drink opening stopper from transitioning from the closed position to the opened position when the lock actuator is in the locking position and an unlocking position permitting the drink opening stopper to transition from the closed position to the opened position when the lock actuator is in the unlocking position.
Lid for a container
A lid, which may be sized and configured to be attached to a container, may include a first opening and a second opening. The first opening may be at least partially defined by a first wall outwardly extending from an upper surface of the lid and the second opening may be at least partially defined by a second wall outwardly extending from the upper surface of the lid. A common wall may separate and at least partially define the first opening and the second opening. If desired, the first opening may be disposed within the spout and the first opening may provide a first fluid pathway to a fluid disposed in a first portion of a container. The second opening may also be disposed within the spout and the second opening may provide a second fluid pathway to the fluid disposed in a second portion of the container.
Beverage lid that attaches to food container
A container lid is disclosed that accepts a snap-on container. The lid includes a continuous outer coupling trough for attachment to the open top of a beverage container where the trough circumscribes a footprint of the container lid. A straw-hole planar surface is disposed within the footprint, the straw-hole planar surface is adjacent to the outer coupling trough and a hole for drinking a liquid in the container extends through the straw-hole planar surface. A riser wall extends away from the straw-hole planar surface and defines a first planar surface above the straw-hole planar surface. A sip hole extends through the first planar surface. A food container coupling wall connects to the first planar surface and extends from the first planar surface to a position lower than the first planar surface and a food container coupling bottom connected to the food container coupling wall.
Child resistant lid and packaging
Aspects of the invention include a child resistant packaging system that makes use of a container, a protective sleeve and a two part child resistant lid with inner lid and an outer lid that are co-axially aligned. The protective sleeve has a recessed groove that substantially matches a corresponding lip on the container enabling the protective sleeve to retain the container without a stretch fit. Also provided is a sleeve for protecting a container that is constructed from a molded silicone and has a recessed groove for retaining a container.
Multifunctional mug cap with a sipper and straw
A tumbler apparatus comprising a mug cap and a tumbler wherein the mug cap comprises a cylindrical section having an upper section and a lower section wherein the lower section comprises male threads along its outer perimeter and the tumbler having female threads along its inner perimeter and further comprises a lower straw apparatus; the lower straw apparatus comprises an opening and a straw attached to the opening; the top section comprises a primary opening and a sipper opening, a top half straw apparatus, a leveler and a lid; the lid is comprised of a protruding tab and a base, the lid's base is attached to the perimeter of the primary opening providing a pivot for the lid switch between close and open configurations and when in closed configuration the protruding tab seals the sipper opening; the top straw apparatus comprising a cylindrical body with a hallow section inside the cylindrical body having a first opening near its proximal end and a second opening near its distal end; an attachment device near its proximal end where the attachment device attaches the top straw apparatus to the primary opening and provides pivot for the top straw apparatus to switch between close and open configuration wherein when the top straw apparatus is in its open configuration its first opening match to the opening of the lower straw apparatus and wherein when the top straw apparatus is in its closed configuration neither its first or second openings match the opening of the lower straw.
Container and Method of Forming a Container
An insulating container assembly can be configured to retain beverages and/or foods. The insulated container can include one of a plurality of container projections or grooves. A lid assembly can include one of a plurality of skirt grooves or projections, corresponding to the plurality of container projections or grooves of the insulated container. The lid assembly may be configured to lock in place on the container by engaging the plurality of skirt grooves or projections with the container grooves or projections when in the locked position.
LID ASSEMBLY FOR CONTAINER
Lid assembly for a container includes a frame having a frame latching member extending therefrom, the frame latching member including a frame projection, an inner panel hingedly coupled to the frame along a first longitudinal side thereof and movable between a closed position and an open position, the inner panel including a panel latching member extending therefrom, the inner panel defining an orifice extending between the bottom surface and the top surface, the panel latching member including a biasing member having a panel projection, the frame projection and the panel projection being lockable when the inner panel is in the closed position and the frame projection is disposed between a base of the biasing member and the panel projection when the inner panel is in the closed position, and a cover panel hingedly coupled to the frame along a second longitudinal side thereof opposite the first longitudinal side.
FLAVORED BEVERAGE SYSTEMS
A beverage system is disclosed. The system includes a container that can be filled with a liquid. The container includes an opening and a recessed portion. The system includes a lid removably engaged with and sealing the opening. The lid includes a first end removably engaging the opening of the container. The lid also includes a second end that opens and closes to allow access to the contents of the container. A screen member is positioned between the first end and the second end. The screen member allows liquid to pass therethrough and prevents solids from passing therethrough. The system also includes a packet of freeze dried fruit material removably received within the recessed portion of the container. The freeze dried fruit material can be added to the liquid to flavor the liquid.
