Hinge cap and hinge cap set
A hinge cap formed by an injection-molding comprises an inner lid capable of being attached to a container body, a hinge, and an outer lid that is connected to the inner lid by the hinge to open and close the cap. The inner lid includes a claw portion. The outer lid includes a tubular outer wall portion and a plurality of convex portions as undercut portions and a plurality of concave portions. One convex portion and a concave portion adjacent to the one convex portion form an engaging portion capable of being engaged with the claw portion. An adjacent convex portion adjacent to the engaging portion and a concave portion adjacent to the adjacent convex portion form a mold pressing portion.
Resealable moisture tight container assembly for strips and the like having a lip snap seal
A substantially moisture tight container and lid assembly for storing and packaging moisture-sensitive items comprising an assembly with a container and a lid, the lid is attached by a hinge to an upper housing portion of the container, the lid includes a lip seal member that depends downwardly from the lid, the lip seal member is configured to abut at least a portion of the interior side of the container when the lid is in the closed position resulting in a substantially moisture tight seal between the lid and the lid, and the container assembly further comprising a base portion and an upper housing portion, the upper housing portion is capable of being snap-fit into the base portion by employing a lip seal mechanism to form a substantially moisture-tight seal.
CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER WITH IMPROVED RETENTION FEATURES
A closure (20, 20A, 20B) for a container (22) with an outwardly projecting flange (25). The closure including a skirt (50, 50A, 50B) for attaching the closure (20, 20A, 20B) to the container (22). The skirt (50, 50A, 50B) has an annular, flexible retention member (66, 66A) extending laterally inwardly from a lower end portion (54, 54A, 54B) of the skirt (50, 50A, 50B) to define a connection (62, 62A, 62B) therebetween. In one form, the flexible retention member (58, 58A, 58B) has (a) an initial, undeflected configuration, (b) a deflected configuration rotated away therefrom about the connection (62, 62A, 62B), and (c) a proximal end surface (126, 126A) located at the connection (62, 62A, 62B) defining a shoulder when the flexible retention member (58, 58A, 58B) is in the undeflected configuration. In another form, the flexible retention member (58, 58A, 58B) is movable into the deflected configuration when subjected to an axial force of between about 100 Newtons and about 150 Newtons.
Closure with cover cap
The closure (1) has a cover cap (2), which is retractably formed on the closure (1) by means of a hinge (3). On the sides of the closure (1) and the cover cap (2), barbs (12, 27) are formed that yield outwardly, when shutting the cover cap (2) due to bulging of the cover cap (2) transversely to the closing direction. The barbs (12) on the closure (1) thus slide over their outer edge and then engage by elastic reversal of the bulge. The cover cap (2) is then fixed onto the closure (1) in a sealing and secure manner. The cover cap (2), using its front region, rests with its edge (11) on a step (9) on the closure (1). This edge (9) is slidable onto the plane of the step (9) by pressing on the front region in the direction of the hinge (3). This creates a bilateral bulge of the lateral edges (10) of the cover cap (2) so that the barbs (26) on the cover cap (2) disengage from those (12) on the closure (1). Thereafter, the cover cap (10) can then be pivoted open about the hinge (3), by means of persistent pressure on its front region, under elastic reversal of the bulges after releasing the pressure.
Closure with Removable and Interchangeable Fitment
A closure with a removable and interchangeable fitment that is used for dispensing particulate matter from a container. The closure has a base, and the fitment is coupled to the base. The closure has an interior sidewall, and the fitment has an exterior sidewall that extends from a dispensing face. The dispensing face defines a plurality of dispensing apertures that are configured to dispense particulate matter. In specific embodiments, the interior sidewall is annular and the exterior sidewall is circumferential. The interior sidewall defines interior mating geometry and the exterior sidewall defines exterior mating geometry. The interior mating geometry releasably mates with the exterior mating geometry. In specific embodiments the interior mating geometry defines a lip and the exterior mating geometry defines a corresponding groove that the lip engages. In specific embodiments, the engagement is a snap fit engagement. In specific embodiments, the groove and the lip are annular.
Container for medical and/or pharmaceutical products
The disclosure pertains to a container (100, 300) for storing medical and/or pharmaceutical products. The container includes a plastic container body (102) comprising a side wall (202), a base (204) and an opening (206) defining a storage volume (108), a flange (104) formed on the container body (102) and configured to receive a connecting element (312) of a cap (310) provided with a tamper-evident mechanism (414), and an active insert (106) placed within the container body (102). This container is an improved container for the storage of products. The disclosure also pertains to a sealed package comprising this container.
