TOTE LID HINGE DESIGN
Systems and methods for tote lid hinges are provided. In some embodiments, a tote includes: an interior of the tote; a lid to cover the interior of the tote; and a hinge mechanism configured to be opened in more than one direction. Different applications and use cases of a tote require differences in the opening direction of the tote lid. A flexible hinge mechanism allows the lid to be opened/closed for these various applications using the same hinge & lid design, rather than changing the lid type by application.
Mobile cooling box with latch handle opening
A mobile cooling box has a box main body and at least one lid for providing access to the inside of the mobile cooling box. At one side edge the lid is hinged to the box main body so that the lid is pivotable from a closed position to an open position. The mobile cooling box further has a latch handle module for manually locking and unlocking the lid. The latch handle module is integrated in the lid and located at another side edge of the lid. The latch handle module comprises an actuating element that is manually operable by the user, a locking element that is engageable with a corresponding counterpart located at the box main body in order to lock the lid from being opened and a casing, and the latch handle module provides a mechanism for locking and unlocking the lid. According to the mechanism for locking and unlocking the lid the actuating element and the locking element are mechanically connected to each other and, by operating the actuating element by the user, the locking element disengages with the corresponding counterpart located at the box main body and allows opening the lid.
Pill Sorting Container
An apparatus for sorting pills has a body defining a plurality of receptacles. A slide plate is positioned on the body. The slide plate defines a first plurality of openings. The slide plate is slidable relative to the body about and between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the first plurality of openings are offset from respective receptacles of the plurality of receptacles so that the slide plate blocks the plurality of receptacles. In the second position, the first plurality of openings are aligned with respective receptacles of the plurality of receptacles so that pills can pass through the first plurality of openings and into the receptacles. A retaining plate retains the slide plate against the body. The retaining plate defines a slot, and the slide plate has a tab that extends through the slot and permits articulation of the slide plate.
Beverage container stopper and pressurization system
A stopper for closing sparkling and other non-pressurized beverage containers. A stopper body may have a carrier member and lip engagement member arranged for sliding movement relative to each other and relative to the stopper body. The lip engagement member may be arranged to engage with a lip of a container neck, and be resiliently biased to move toward the carrier member to provide a seal-forming force on a sealing surface of the stopper body. The stopper may be arranged to introduce gas into the container, e.g., to re-pressurize the container to keep a carbonation level of beverage during storage.
CONTAINER INCLUDING A REMOVABLE INTERLOCKING SEGMENT FOR A LID
A container for storing a plurality of consumable goods includes a lid that includes a base and an upper portion hingedly coupled to the base. The container also includes an interlocking segment. The interlocking segment includes a removable strip coupled to an engagement strip at a frangible joint. The removable strip is coupled to the one of the base and the upper portion and the engagement strip is coupled to the other of the base and the upper portion. The removable strip is detachable at the frangible joint via manual actuation of the removable strip.
CONTAINER WITH CHILD-RESISTANT LID RELEASE
A container tin includes a container base with one or more storage compartments for ingestible products, and a reclosable lid with child-resistant (CR) features. The container incorporates mechanisms for creating and storing microdoses of edibles or medicaments. The CR reclosable container contains closure mechanisms, such as a latching pin and catch assembly, that present difficulties to a child attempting to open the container but that a properly trained adult can operate without undue problems to open the container. The container includes a cutter at the lid and a cutting support assembly at the base. A user places a product on the cutting support assembly, then closes the container lid to cut the product in two. This procedure can be used with cannabis products or similar psychoactive products to create microdoses below a threshold quantity that creates a perceptible psychoactive effect in the user.
STORAGE CASE
A storage case assembly includes a first member with at least one male hinge member and at least one female hinge member; a second member with at least one male hinge member and at least one female hinge member; and at least one latch member that connects the first member and the second member, wherein the first member and the second member are identical.
Container Lid With Button Release And Lock
A container lid includes a container top, a lid opening, a closure, a push button, and a lock. The container top may be sized and configured to be attached to a container body. The lid opening may be formed in the container top. The closure may be movably coupled to the container top and may be movable between first and second positions in which the lid opening is, respectively, covered or uncovered. The push button may be configured to selectively retain the closure in the first position, and may be movable between latched and unlatched positions. The lock may be movable between locked and unlocked positions and in the locked position may be configured to inhibit movement of the push button from the latched to the unlatched position.
Food storage container
A storage container may include a frame structure having a hinge with a pivot axis, a first frame component, and a second frame component coupled to the first frame component by a hinge; a first shell and a second shell; and one or more securing structures configured to facilitate isolation of an interior volume from the space exterior to the interior volume and maintenance of the storage container in a closed configuration. The first shell and second shell may be configured to be releasably secured by the first frame component and second frame component, respectively. When the first shell is secured by the first frame component, the second shell is secured by the second frame component, and the storage container is a closed configuration, an interior volume bounded by the frame structure, first shell and second shell may be isolated from a space exterior to the interior volume.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND METHODS FOR STORING AND DISPOSING OF SHARP OR HAZARDOUS OBJECTS
Aspects of the present disclosure provide technologies for storing, transporting, and disposing of medical waste (e.g., sharps and biohazardous materials). Medical waste commonly results after medical treatment of patients. For example, a piece of medical equipment may be stored after use in a channel of a structural element and then restrained within the channel using a restrictive element. The entire assembly may be surrounded by an internal cavity formed by a first portion of a housing abutting a second portion of a housing, thereby creating a leak-resistant seal. The technologies described herein may be portable so that first responders and medical practitioners may carry them to any emergency location. In situations, the housing surrounding the assembly can be incinerated, thereby destroying any pathogenic contamination.
