CONTAINER, THE BODY OF WHICH HAS A GRIPPING HANDLE FORMED BY A SINGLE BOXING OPERATION
The invention relates to a plastic container comprising a body that extends along a central axis between an opening and a base, the body having an overstroked holding recess extending parallel to the central axis over a predetermined height, the overstroked holding recess being the only overstroked recess on the body over the predetermined height, and having a median line of maximum indentation, the median line of maximum indentation being able to be inscribed in a diametrical plane.
Synthetic resin container
A synthetic resin container, the container including: a parting line; and a plurality of reduced pressure absorbing panels each formed as a groove extending in the vertical direction while twisting in the circumferential direction, the reduced pressure absorbing panels being disposed in the trunk, in which: when the parting line passes through an upper part of a first reduced pressure absorbing panel and through a lower part of a second reduced pressure absorbing panel, the first reduced pressure absorbing panel is shallower in depth at the upper part thereof than at a central part thereof in the vertical direction, and the second reduced pressure absorbing panel is shallower in depth at the lower part thereof than at a central part thereof in the vertical direction.
Method of handling a plastic container having a moveable base
Method for processing hot-filled plastic containers are provided. In some embodiments, the method may include hot-filling a plastic container, sealing the container, and conveying the sealed container, each with an inner annular wall and a push-up portion in a first position. In some embodiments, the method may further include creating a vacuum pressure in the hot-filled and sealed container and repositioning the push-up portion from the first position to a second position under a mechanical force.
Delamination container
A delamination container formed by blow molding a preform assembly includes: an outer layer body including a tubular outer mouth portion and a bottomed tubular barrel portion; an inner layer body including a tubular inner mouth portion fixed to an inner side of the outer mouth portion, and a containing portion separably laminated on an inner surface of the barrel portion and capable of volume-reduction deformation; an outside air introduction port; and a plurality of protrusions integrally provided in an upper end part of the barrel portion at intervals in a circumferential direction centering on an axial center of the outer mouth portion, the plurality of protrusions each projecting from an outer surface of the barrel portion and being recessed with respect to the inner surface of the barrel portion.
Bottling device and method
Beverage packaging and container arrangements are shown and described. In one embodiment, the device comprises a container body, hollow rod, and removable cap to provide an assembled consumable beverage arrangement. The disclosure also includes a variety of fittings and removable caps to mate with beverage containers that are useful in both storage and operating positions.
CONTAINER PROVIDED WITH A CURVED INVERTIBLE DIAPHRAGM
A method for making a container made of a plastic material, provided with a base including a standing ring forming a support flange and a diaphragm extending from the standing ring to a central portion, the diaphragm being capable of standing in an outwardly-inclined position, wherein the diaphragm connects to the standing ring at an outer junction forming an outer articulation of the diaphragm; wherein the diaphragm connects to the central portion at an inner junction forming an inner articulation of the diaphragm; whereby the diaphragm is invertible with respect to the standing ring from the outwardly-inclined position to an inwardly-inclined position; and wherein, in the outwardly-inclined position, the diaphragm has an outer curved portion and an inner curved portion of opposite curvatures.
CONTAINER PREFORM
A preform configured to be blow-molded into a plastic bottle includes a neck section defining an opening, the neck section including a threaded portion configured to engage a closure, and a neck ring, a transition section having a first end positioned adjacent to the neck ring and a second end opposite the first end, a cylindrical body section extending from the second end of the transition section to a base, and a longitudinal axis extending from the opening through the base. The neck section, transition section, and the body section define a hollow channel positioned between the opening and the base. The transition section defines a tapered sidewall relative to the longitudinal axis, the tapered sidewall decreases a cross-sectional diameter of the hollow channel. The tapered sidewall of the transition section contains 20% to 30% of a total weight of the preform.
CONTAINER GRIP PANEL WITH IMPROVED SIDE LOAD
A polymeric container including a finish defining an opening. A base is configured to support the container upright. A grip area is between the opening and the base. A plurality of grip panels are at the grip area. Each one of the grip panels has a depth, a height, and a width. The depth is at least 17% of the height, and the depth is at least 10% of the width.
VERTICAL DISPLACEMENT CONTAINER BASE
A container including an opening defined by a finish portion. A base is at an end of the container opposite to the opening. The base includes a deep base ring between a standing surface and a truncated cone at a center of the base. The truncated cone is mechanically movable a displacement distance from an as-blown position to a displaced position subsequent to hot-filling and capping of the container to reduce an internal volume of the container. In the displaced position, the truncated cone is closer to the opening than in the as-blown position.
Bottle in which deformation of a body portion at the time of pressure reduction can be inhibited
A square bottle that includes a mouth portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion, and a bottom portion provided to be continuous in this order from the top to the bottom in a bottle axis direction, wherein in the body portion a plurality of panel surface portions are provided to be continuous with each other with corner portions therebetween in a circumferential direction around a bottle axis and in the body portion a first peripheral groove straddling at least the corner portions in the circumferential direction is formed, and a ridge portion straddling the corner portions in the circumferential direction is formed on an inner surface defining the first peripheral groove.
