Metallic can lid
A reclosable can lid is described which does not require a separation of a metal surface associated with chip formation in the opening process, which ensures the respective required leak tightness on the reclosing, even in the case of a pressure build-up resulting in the respective container, and which has a high functional reliability with a particularly economical manufacturing option.
Membrane Lid With Integrated Peelable Portion
The present invention relates to a flexible membrane lid for a container comprising a top paper layer which is perforated to form a perimeter of at least one peelable portion and a bottom film layer. In some embodiments, the bottom film layer is partially adhered to the top paper layer, wherein the layers are not adhered within the perimeter of the peelable portion. In other embodiments, the layers are adhered with a pressure sensitive adhesive within the perimeter of the peelable portion and with a permanent adhesive in the remainder of the area between the top paper layer and bottom film layer. In other embodiments, the invention relates to a flexible membrane lid for a container comprising a top paper layer comprising a pull tab and a bottom film layer which is removably adhered to the top paper layer, wherein bottom film layer comprises a separate pull tab.
Removable closure device for metal containers
Removable closure device for metal containers comprising a lid delimited by a peripheral edge; a tab having a connecting end connected to the lid near a first portion of the peripheral edge and extending along a longitudinal direction towards a second portion of the peripheral edge opposite the first portion, and having a grip end opposite the connecting end located between the first and the second portions of the peripheral edge; two stiffening elements placed on the lid on opposite sides with respect to the tab, each of which comprises: an inner wall having a first curved section closely surrounding the grip end of the tab and having the concavity facing the tab, and an outer wall extending along the longitudinal direction between a first and a second tip, respectively facing the first and the second portions of the peripheral edge. The tangents to the outer walls of each stiffening element at the second tip converge near the second portion of the peripheral edge.
Container for hermetically sealed storage of products, in particular foodstuffs
Disclosed is a container for hermetically sealed storage of liquid, paste-like and/or solid products, more particularly foodstuffs, characterized in that the lid of the container is designed to be re-sealable and largely stable pull-tab lid is also provided, the opening of the lid not involving the separation of metal surface leading to swarf formation and the re-sealing of said lid for air tightness.
EXPANDABLE PADDED MAILER
A padded mailer includes a pouch formed by front and rear sheets, each including a bottom edge, a top edge, and opposing side edges. The sheets are connected along their bottom edges and each of their side edges to define an interior space. The top edges of the sheets are unconnected to form an opening into the interior space. The padded mailer also includes a liner disposed in the interior space, including an expandable sheet having a bottom edge, a top edge, and opposing side edges. The bottom edge of the expandable sheet is secured adjacent the bottom edges of the front and rear sheets, and the top edge and the side edges of the expandable sheet are unsecured to the front and rear sheets. Pulling the top edge of the expandable sheet relative to the pouch causes the expandable sheet to expand and increase the thickness of the liner.
RESEALABLE POP TOP LID
A pop top lid for cylindrical fluid containers is disclosed. The lid includes an end shell with a scored line defining a tear panel, a stay-on tab assembly, and a rivet for attaching the assembly to the shell. The stay-on tab assembly features a pocketed tang with a central portion containing a pivot hole for the rivet. The assembly includes a top cover and bottom plate, spaced apart by a gap on the leading edge. An aperture point is connected to the pocketed tang and can be rotated. A shearing edge is attached to the central portion and extends radially behind the aperture point. In an embodiment, the bottom plate is embossed to facilitate sliding of the shearing edge under the end shell wall when the pocketed tang is rotated, achieving a resealing clamp action by securely placing the embossed shape into the tear panel opening.
Constructive arrangement for the opening of a beverage can
An apparatus is disclosed and includes a can, which has an end wall incorporating a vent panel and a pouring panel, both panels being breakable and presenting a contour defined by a rupture line. A first actuation tab is externally affixed to the vent panel and manually and angularly displaceable, in order to be separated from the can jointly with the vent panel. A second actuation tab, which may be actuated after the vent panel is removed, is externally affixed to the pouring panel and provided with an end lower tooth, which is pressed against the rupture line of the pouring panel, when the second actuation tab is displaced so as to break, initially, the confronting spot region of the rupture line and, subsequently, to separate the pouring panel from said end wall.
Safety-enhanced can lid
The present invention relates generally to a safety-enhanced can lid, and more particularly to a safety-enhanced can lid in which a prevention portion configured to prevent a user's hand from being cut is provided along the edge of the lid that is coupled to seal a can, thereby enabling safe use. For this purpose, the present invention provides a can lid that is coupled to the top side of a container in which contents are stored, the can lid including: a plate laid to cover the top portion of the container, composed of a flat plate, and provided with a pull tab on the top surface thereof; and a hand-cut prevention portion including a cut prevention wall bent downward from the edge of the plate toward the container.
LID
A lid that closes a mouth of a container is made of a material principally including a paper material. The lid includes a side wall that is fitted into the mouth of the container, and a top lid that is surrounded by the side wall. The top lid includes an inlet/outlet formation part that forms an inlet/outlet for an article stored in the container, and a temporary fixing part that temporarily fixes the inlet/outlet formation part to the top lid. This can achieve a lid that has satisfactory thermal insulation, can reduce leakage, is user-friendly, can reduce a manufacturing cost, and is conscious of environmental issues.
