Plectrum as a lid in beverage cans
The invention relates to a plectrum (1) comprising a flat member (2) that is generally sector-shaped form a top view and has an inner face (3) and an outer face (4) from a top view, the outer face (4) having a larger peripheral size than the inner face (3). The invention is characterized in that the flat member (2) is a single piece, a slot (5) which extends into an opening (6) for a rotary bearing is provided on the inner face (3), and the flat member (2) simultaneously forms a rotatable protective clip-on-part for open beverage cans (8) or the like.
Packaging including pouch for container
A pouch, designed to be attached, either directly or indirectly, to a container, is provided with two end portions, each of which is formed with an elongated slit. When the pouch is directly attached atop a container, the end portions are pulled over the lid and catch a rim portion of the container. When the pouch is placed upon a lid covered container, the end portions of the pouch can catch or engage the lid. In accordance with an aspect of the invention, a pair of spaced slits extends from each elongated slit, thereby creating a tab or flap in each end portion. The flap is configured to either directly catch a rim of the container or be tucked under the lid, i.e., between the lid and the container, to attach the pouch to the lid and, indirectly, the container.
DUAL MOUTH SHOTGUN CAN
The dual mouth shotgun can may combine the advantages of a standard aluminum beverage can with a second opening to allow for a high rate of air flow and displacement resulting in a high rate of fluid flow from the can. The can may implement a stay-tab mechanism, or any other appropriate mechanism, for ease of use and familiarity, on the standard top opening, and may further implement a stay-tab mechanism, or other appropriate mechanism on the bottom or lower side of the can for shotgunning the fluid in the can. The dual mouth shotgun can may provide a user with a single opening mechanism on its top surface for normal drinking, and a second opening mechanism on its bottom or lower side surface for drinks shotgunning. In one embodiment the can may comprise an upper and a lower body that may be twisted relative to one another to expose an opening in the side of the can that allows for drinks shotgunning. In another embodiment the can may further comprise a pushrod that leverages the second opening open when the first opening is opened. In another embodiment the can may require that the upper and lower bodies must be rotated to align outer and inner holes that then allow the pushrod to push open the second opening.
Beverage Container Finger Ring
A beverage container finger ring that allows an individual to easily carry one or multiple beverage container by utilizing only their fingers includes a bottle cap, a bottle carrying ring, a tab, a flexible connector. The tab is adjacently connected to the bottle carrying ring. The bottle carrying ring is adjacently connected to a lateral wall of the bottle cap by the flexible connector so that the bottle carrying ring can be moved in between an opened configuration and a closed configuration. The placement of the bottle carrying ring differentiates multiple embodiments of the beverage container finger ring as the bottle carrying ring can be concentrically positioned to the bottle cap, positioned against the lateral wall from top, and positioned against the lateral wall from bottom with respect to the closed configuration.
Easy-open can end opened by rotated bar
An easy-open can end for making an opening therethrough suitable for pouring comprises an end plate, a score line in the end plate defining most of the periphery of a tear panel while leaving a hinge, and a protrusion formed on the tear panel. To open the easy-open can end, the protrusion is pressed down by a rotating bar horizontally rotated over the protrusion or by a body vertically hitting the protrusion to cause relative vertical movement between the tear panel and the remainder of the end plate, rupture of the score line, and swinging of the tear panel down about the hinge to an open position.
Beverage Lid Cover for Enhancing Aroma
A lid for a beverage cup includes a mouth opening, an aroma opening, and a concentrator member. The mouth opening is positioned closer to a rim of the lid than the aroma opening. An area of the aroma opening is greater than an area of the mouth opening. The concentrator member surrounds the aroma opening and extends from a plane formed by the aroma opening to a height above the aroma opening. A cross sectional area of the concentrator decreases in a direction from a base to an upper end of the concentrator, creating a concentration of beverage aromas in the space surrounding a user's nose. The concentrator channels a concentrated amount of aroma to the nose, providing an enhanced drinking and tasting experience.
Fruit flavoring in the image of a fruit portion stored with a vessel for flavoring a fluid
An assembly and method are provided for storing and dispensing a soluble substance, such as a flavoring, into a liquid. A useful application of the subject invention includes the case where lime-flavored liquid is contained in a foam artificial lime stored in the neck of a beer bottle, attached to a beer bottle or can, or attached to the 6-pack or 12-pack carton. The artificial lime may be retrieved from the neck or a protective covering and acted upon so it diffuses the lime-flavored liquid into the beer when it is inserted into the beer bottle. Alternately, juice from the artificial lime may be squeezed into the beer, or the artificial lime may be simply retrieved and discarded. Rather than needing to buy a natural lime, cut it up and push a wedge into a beer bottle, an artificial lime, or a packaged natural lime, may be stored directly in or with the beer bottle and placed in functional contact with the beer at time of consumption.
Structure for detachable coupling of containers
A container structure is provided for detachable coupling of containers. The detachable coupling structure of a first container includes a top portion with an upstanding perimeter having radial protrusions extending from a surface of the upstanding perimeter, and a container bottom portion having a complementary structure to engage the radial protrusions of the top portion of a second container for the purpose of detachably coupling two or more containers end to end. In one embodiment, two containers placed end to end with their respective structures aligned to be engaged are rotated in opposite directions to fully engage the protrusions of one container with the complementary structure of the other. A rim around the top portion of a container in a second embodiment has a larger diameter than the top portion. The rim may be pushed through a flexible opening into a recess in the bottom of another container.
Beverage Container Assembly for Dispensing Extra Content and Methods of Use
A beverage container for original content is comes with at least one additional piece on the inside of the container. Each additional piece provides a selectively breakable or rupturable packet that contains an amount of additional content or an additional ingredient such as flavoring or caffeine. When the container is slightly squeezed or crunched the packet is ruptured and releases the additional content into the original content.
